Hidden gem. Amazing food, great value and friendly staff. Only been in the restaurant to eat, never takeaway. Not very busy usually for eat in but well worth a visit as food is always great, large portions and fresh.

After eating in the restaurant a few months ago and really enjoying the food, we decided to have a take away tonight. It did not disappoint. Very tasty and good sized portions. You also get 10% off if you pay with cash which always goes down well. I think this will now be our new 'Go to' for a Chinese takeaway even though we live 15 minutes away 😋

We ordered Crispy Chilli Beef, Crispy Duck, Salt and Peper King Prawns and Special Fried Rice through Deliveroo. The Beef was lacking any real sauce, to the point that there were pieces of beef with no sauce on. Pretty unappetising. The rice was bland. The King Prawns were fine and the duck was nice, maybe a bit dry, the same as you would get in almost every Chinese restaurant in the UK. Overall a very disappointing experience, which is a shame because reviews suggested it would be good. Only upside was the quick delivery. Won’t be ordering again.

My boyfriend and I had a Chinese takeaway here one evening. The dishes we had were very good especially the crispy chilli beef, sweet and sour chicken balls and Singapore vermicelli noodles with a bit of a kick. Not my no1 favourite but it was good, I’d go back.

Ordered takeout once. The special fried rice, the salt and pepper chicken and the squid were amazing. I especially loved that the squid was in a cardboard box rather than a plastic container. Really good portion sizes. The vermicelli was a bit underwhelming but otherwise was great

Our go to local Chinese. Have eaten in and had numerous take ways from here and never had a bad meal. We always call to order and collect it ourselves so it’s always piping hot and fresh. Recommend the satay chicken skewers, chicken Hong Kong style and crispy belly pork. Delicious

I've only ever been here for takeaway, but it is also a restaurant. In the local area, it's the best Chinese takeaway in my opinion.

The food is very good. Service is ok but the staff are not engaging. Have been there many times and mostly it is empty of customers so lacks atmosphere It would be disappointing to lose this restaurant as the food is very good and the takeaways are good also.

Don't order here online! Took our money, never delivered. Their website is buggy and the communication with this restaurant very unpleasant & customer unfriendly. We ordered for delivery and paid a delivery charge. About 30min later received a phone call the food was ready for pickup. This turned into a heated stressful argument over the phone. By the end we didn't get refunded and never received any food! Recommend if you wanna get scammed!

Great Seafood Ho Fun!!!!! Great food!!!!!! But the soup smelled like chemical and I had really bad stomachache, endless diarrhea.

Came in this evening. My buddy ordered lotus rice. Ha ds down the best rice ever.... not just for display. Steamed mixed meat and veg in a lotus leaf. Amazing restaurants. Deffo coming back

So I checked New Hing Loong were open on Mondays and website said they are. I placed order for £52 on line which was taken off my credit card. When the order didn't progress I drove round to find they are closed today! Whilst I was there about 4 other people turned up to collect order - similarly disappointed. I phoned credit card company who said, "Sorry, payment is already processed". Now I'm going to have to have an extra trip just to get my money back. Went to Ming's of the Avenue. Should have gone there in the first place.

Atrocious. As I'd never tried this place before I decided to be unadventurous and order sweet and sour king prawns with special rice. I also ordered some salt and pepper prawns as a starter. As soon as I bit into the salt and pepper prawns, I knew I had made a mistake ordering from this place. They were so bland. The sweet and sour was even worse! The special rice had no seasoning whatsoever and was just regular rice with a few tiny pieces of chicken and sweetcorn thrown in. I came across this place on Deliveroo and it had over 500 reviews with a rating of 4.5. I can only assume these are paid for/fake as nobody in their right mind would rate this place above 1. WORST TAKEAWAY I'VE EVER HAD. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!

Nice place but take away very slow

Great staff, great food and good atmosphere. Food is obviously a little more pricier than other places but the quality of the food is excellent, worth every penny. The owners are very passionate about chinese food and it really shows! It is a family run restaurant so if you want to support your local business and you love chinese food definitely give them a try. They have their own website or deliveroo for delivery. Call in to place takeaway orders, collection or to reserve a table. They deliver within 3 mile radius, give them a call to see if they deliver to your address.

Honestly the worst Chinese we’ve ever had. I ordered the orange duck and it was like stodgy warmed water/jelly. The rice was so bland. Even on first opening it looked like there was no “egg fried”. The spicy chilli beef was only edible because they put spice on it to cover the fact it had no other flavouring. Honestly shocked how bad. If you go through the reviews multiple people have complained how bland it is. If it’s just the cook on certain shifts then I’d really advocate that you find someone that knows how to flavour the food. Chicken and sweet corn soup was the only good thing to eat and I even had to put that over the rice to flavour it! Whole family disliked it.

This is my families new best place to dine in or take away lovely food value for money and nice polite staff I've already booked for Christmas eve can't wait

Food is tasty, restaurant is clean, and the staff are very friendly too. I recommend for both takeaway and eat in - its cozy, comfortable and has nice decor, Ideal for any occasions. I took the wife there yesterday, she very much enjoyed it too. Very reasonable prices. Also worth noting that (only) the Chicken is halal.

Our go to in the area. Skillful Cantonese cooking and friendly staff. Highly recommend the salt and pepper dishes, as well as the beef brisket ones. But so far all have been very good, and we are regulars. Pricing good value.

10-10 DRY PEPPER RIB SPECIAL FRIED RICE

After using them and always having top class food. I have a had two really disappointing experiences. First one was multiple missing items. Not a massive problem as such but annoying when you’ve paid for it. This time the food was 2 hours late being sent, only sent after the 3rd phone call ... 40 minutes after the first phone call saying it was 5 minutes away. At 10pm I wasn’t really feeling eating a big meal and said I’d return the food only to be offered a £5 discount if I took the food. I sent the food back as I had been informed that it was ready 45 minutes prior to the driver arriving at mine. It’s a shame as the food is normally decent but a little honesty would have been appreciated. If the food was delayed telling me on the first phone call would have been fine.

Decent portion size for the price, good was better than most in bexleyheath however it was on the saltier side and had me sweating after eating.

Awful service arrived 40 minutes late and was lukwarm and mediocre. Was assured by the restaurant that driver was coming straight to me, driver advised we were third call. Bad when you cannot even get an honest response to a question! Do not bother with this place!

When placing the order on-line a 45 minute wait. After 60 minutes contacted restaurant to be informed my order had left and was with the driver and I should expect it within 5 minutes. After another 10 minutes later I contacted the restaurant again to then be informed that they had missed my order. So now another 15 minute wait. Although I was given the option to cancel by which time we were starving so did not . I was so annoyed that the restaurant didn’t check the first time I called but instead blamed the driver delivery driver. They really do need to improve the systems for taking on line orders and be more apologetic when the do get it wrong. Food was good after arriving 1 hour late and1 45minuted from time of placing order. Very disappointed with the whole experience and lack of apology from restaurant. Be reluctant to use again.

Ordered over the phone, thought i'd try a new place, oh what a mistake! The food took an hour to arrive which was fine as i was told would be an hour and a half so that was good however, the food was cold, tasteless and not cheap. The Hong Kong style king prawns were like prawn balls that had been soaked and all squishy, the sweet and sour was bland. The Singapore spicy noodles were just that, noodles...no meat or prawns or much of anything. Overall, a real disappointment and i can honestly say I will not be ordering from here again.

We were looking for a takeaway on the way home from a day out. A couple of years back this used to be our favourite Indian Restaurant but it closed down, We noticed it was now a chinese restaurant so decided to get our takeaway. It was early so the restaurant was empty so we decided to stay and eat in, the food was absolutely wonderful, some of the best I have eaten and the portion size was big, Cost was comprable to other restaurants in the area. Itwas early so i cannot comment on how busy it gets or level of service but I would suspect, with the quality of the food it will be popular. We did order a takeaway a few months later and asked for it to be delivered. Service was very quick, food was just as good and portions werte large. This is now our goto favourite chinese...

I ordered on New Year's Day and they were able to deliver within 45mins as promised, hot and good quality food; may not seem like a big deal but most Chinese take away close altogether or take at least an hour and a half on bank holidays!

Best local Chinese we have found and we have lived in the area for over 3 years. This place is a gem. Ordered a takeaway that arrived in 20 minutes - fresh and hot. Everything that should’ve been crispy was crispy and no sogginess! Roast pork belly was delicious - flavoursome with a lovely accompanying gravy. Sweet and sour chicken was really tasty and not too sweet as some other places can be. Very pleased we have discovered this place - THANK YOU NEW HING LOON!

The vegetarian "duck" is amazing, but also vegetables spring rolls and vegetables noodles are fantastic, really liked it

Very Disappointed. Thai green curry was jelly like, it was not fresh and very bland. Then the hofan noodles had choi that was so dirty as you can see in the picture below. I’ve thrown this out. This is not acceptable to serve or provide. Will not recommend.

Went on Wednesday night no expectations and wanted to try a very local option. Sadly for them the restaurant was empty but takeaway orders keeping them busy. Food was tasty, not greasy, decent portion sizes, good service (not overly attentive as we were the only ones there). Will return and recommend for those in the area

Above average food, no atmosphere!

Visited on a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed. Great welcome, speedy drinks, lovely menu and delicious food. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Particularly enjoyed 'Sizzling Plates' but everything being served looked good, with generous portions too. We will return....

I have never been here not once but it looks nice

Visited on a Thursday with the Wife, once you come through the door and heavily tinted windows we were nicly greeted and could choose any table we would like (it was a shame there was not more guest)The Ribs (honey) were really nice and the fried seaweed also good as a light starter. Mains (red curry prawn was very tasty but, could in my opinion, be at bit more milky and less thick. The Singapore fried vermicelli was really nice and my request for extra chilly was no problem. Portions are a really good size so struggled to clean the plate. The Wine (Malbec at 18 pounds a bottle was also good value and went down well) Overall Good food and nice service, be lovely if it was a few more guest for atmosphere - but I guess its a residential area on a Thursday eve.

This is a small local family run business who provide you a very friendly service when you visit this establishment.The food is of a high quality and the atmosphere in the restaurant is quietly pleasant. The staff are very attentive to any of your requests . Its well worth a visit.

Cant believe our luck. I recognised the owners, they used to run a restaurant in London Bridge with queues out the door. Food is exceptional, in chinese and it's the best you can get without going into town.

Small restaurant food really good, not good on deserts

Particular favourites are Szechuan lamb, apple duck, lemon chicken. Slowly working our way through the menu. Desserts and Irish coffees good value. Always friendly and helpful. This is not a chain, so on very busy nights there may be a wait (both for eat in and take away). Wheelchair accessible too.

Made a res for 5 people for mothers day, arrived waited to be seated but no one came to greet us. After a couple of minutes waiting by the entrance like lemons, I went to the bar to ask and was told that my table was given to another party and that we would have to wait to be seated. We were left waiting in the doorway like idiots and ordinarily, I would have left to find another place but given given the day, everything else was booked solid. When we were eventually seated half an hour later, the service was decently quick and the food came out promptly however wasn't great. Ordered a couple of ' big plates' which gave a choice of 2 types of noodle plus a entree dish from a set list however, was told 'no' when we asked to sub black bean chicken for Szechuan chicken instead. Ordered the Szechuan separately as it is a fav of my mums. Very disappointed with what was brought out which was boiled chicken and a few chunky veggies in a very sweet ketchup based sauce! When bill came, I asked to remove the 10% automatic gratuity that was added as I wanted to add a smaller tip because the service and food had been passable at best. Was told that the service charge coud not be removed and that all London restaurants had this practice. When I pressed, knowing full well that I was well within my rights to ask for its removal, the hostess stormed off shouting across the restaurant in Mandarin/Cantonese, in full view of all the other patrons who were still dining. When she came back with the amended bill , my Dad proceeded to try to explain my decision and was greeted with a very nonchalant response of 'well, it is very busy, I couldn't do anything'. No apology, no acknowledgement, nothing. Left with a bad taste in my mouth literally and figuratively. If I could leave no star, I would

Awful service was told it’d be 15 min delivery it turned up 90 minutes later despite phone calls regularly. When it came it was cold and disappointing portions. They then offered to discount by £3, it got sent back. Really disappointing would not recommend

I went to the restaurant with my family on a weekday. Being the only occupied table and a newly opened restaurant, i expected at least a smile. I was met with a lady who seemed least interested in her job. She made us feel as unwelcome as you can possibly imagine. She made the best possible effort that we leave the restaurant as early as possible. She was highly surprised when I said that I would like to have my starters before my meal. The chinese curry was nice rest was average. i really think that either they need to train their staff or function as a takeaway

There is terrible service and they ran out of chilli oil, the food is decent but they put too much salt in the food making it unhealthy and also had no mussels in stock. Over the phone we were told there were parking spaces for the restaurant but there was no available spaces when we arrived. We ordered Thai red curry but it looks and tastes like water with chili. I do not recommend this restaurant at all and had a terrible experience!

We have been here several times this past year and love it. Whether you eat in or take out the food is delicious. The portions are generous and I myself have yet to be disappointed with any choice from the varied menus. The staff are wonderful and make you feel very welcome. At Chinese New year we were all given a lottery ticket in a red envelope, which was such a nice gesture.

Brilliant restaurant, the food here is one of the best Chinese food there is as there are barely any oiliness in the food, making the food very healthy along with the nice atmosphere at dinner time making the experience all the more better, plus the staff are friendly.

The food was great, very large portions and what wasn't eaten was offered to take away. This was greatStaff very friendly. Family of 4, 3 large courses, bottle of wine, 4 soft drinks and food to take away with us was £90, we found this really reasonable.Would definitely recommend

Our friends took us here for a catch up, they had been here before. The welcome was very good and they make you relaxed. The order was taken and the drinks and food arrived promptly, all very tasty. The salt and pepper chicken was great like everything else. We really enjoyed everything and the portions are huge. Peking duck for two is enough for 4. Going back here very soon. We enjoyed it so much we had a takeaway already. Try it it's great.

I visited this establishment last night with my wife, friday august 18th 2017 and I shall never visit again,absolutely shocking on every level and I can only summise from other reviews that these people must have a palate tuned to a complete lack of flavour, sickly sweetness and bland mediocrity served with a veneer of glutinous grease or perhaps there was a chef in residance on their visit and not just someone who heats up frozon,prepacked nonsense as was the case last night.I am sure that by now you will have noticed that I and my wife are very angry and disappointed.I am not a professional reviewer but do have very good taste along with my wife and we have visited many types of restaurant over the years.After our awful experience last night I feel compelled to write this in the hope that it may spare you from the same.........here goes...We arrived at around seven thirty and were shown to a table by a miserable waitress who clearly did not want to be there,in fact ALL of the staff had the demeanour of a disinterested undertaker which matched with the cheap,tacky decor and lack of any atmosphere whatsoever even though there were ten diners or so scattered around and a table of six who all seemed blisfully unaware of what they were eating and of their surroundings,good start !The thought of leaving there and then did cross my mind but I wanted to give it a chance,after all we dont have to return.Soon after sitting,a plate of what appeared to be white prawn crackers arrived without any accompaniments and after asking for some sweet chili sauce we began to eat them.A tasteless mixture of soggyness and crispyness, very odd.We ordered a set meal C at £20 each.The starters were tolerable---just,as the various bites were simply sweet and bland , had obviously been frozen,heated then served. That seems to be the case with most takeaways.I imagine they use the same suppliers too, even the best chefs cannot succeed with poor ingredients.The plates were delivered stone cold for both starter and main dishes and were barely any different after we asked for them to be heated.I wont give an analysis of the individual dishes as this would be pointless due to the common theme of flavourless greasy sweetness,tired rice and ingredients, and a total lack of anything fresh at all.We did try to eat some of the dishes but found it impossible.After asking for the bill it was presented,astonishingly with a £6.90 service charge by a thoroughly sour waiter who seemed completely unaware of our plight and directed us to the equally sour woman behind the bar!After I complained about the food and bill and refused to pay the 'service' charge I stupidly paid the full bill as we just wanted to leave,something I regret doing now.We did however have something nice and fresh,a quartered orange presented with the bill!, that went down well and seemed a bit of an antidote to my unsettled stomach.I was never rude or agressive and we did not deserve this awful neglect.At no point was there any apology or attempt at redress,explanation of any kind,nothing, simply blank faces and silence from staff, quite appalling.Now after reading this you may think that I have a problem and have gone over the top but I am the first to praise a decent place and meal and have, on occasion left a restaurant contented with a big smile,something that is becoming increasingly rare.We were looking forward to this as the place had only been open for around four months and generally speaking restaurants are at their best during the first few months of operation. It is also located in my road.Sorry to be so negative but it really was shockingly bad.May you eat somewhere nice.Matthew H.

Service was very good and food taste great! It is my new favourite local take away. Parking is easily accessible, can either park infront of the restaurant or by the resident roads on the side.

I have been here twice now and on both occasions the staff were very polite and attentive. We would recommend the garlic chili chicken and the chicken chow mein. both of high quality and very generous in portion size. Having not been open long, there was a steady stream of people collecting take aways which shows a good sign already. The Tiger beer was very refreshing and ice cold like it should be.

Only recently opened and our first visit - it will not be our last! Don't be put off by the dark, smoked-glass window, the interior is bright and welcoming as were the staff. As has been noted, the portions are very large and rather than stuff ourselves to overfilling, we were able to take away uneaten food. The food was lovely, not salty or greasy and was delivered to the table piping hot, so freshly-cooked and not cooked earlier then re-heated. The menu is extensive, so it will take some time to work our way through it - well, somebody has to, so it might as well be us!

This is a new restaurant and looks very nice. We had a takeaway which was very good and very large portions. We will definitely be going back and will eat in next time.

Four of us visited this restaurant last night, staff are friendly and very accommodating, the decor is nice and the food was outstanding. The portions are large, next time we will have one rice dish between two. Overall good value for money. I would favour this Chinese restaurant over others in the area, I will be eating here again!!!
