Good portions of very tasty food, if a little on the expensive side.

This is the worst meal I’ve ever had. It’s essentially plain rice with a few shrimp tossed in. The dish is incredibly dry, with no flavor, seasoning, or even salt. I ordered shrimp fried rice, but this was a huge disappointment.

By far one of the best Chinese restaurants in Romford!! Kids loved it! We had Singapore noodles, fried rice, dumplings were ok !! But overall good!!

Why is there so much diced carrot and, I think, turnip? It's like the main ingredient there is loads of it. Nobody wants diced carrot in their Chinese food.

Disgusting garbage, what gets me is that they have good review rating on Just eat. Why? Just a scam. How can you serve an overcooked noodle, like mush. Everything terrible, really really bad. So bad you have to make an effort to make it that bad. Dont waste your money or your time. Crap

We ordered takeaway from this place about one or twice a week, local customer. The last time I got takeaway it made me sick. This place ain't great, inconsistent food, I believe they have different chefs as you can order the same thing in a week and it can come totally different on both occasions. I also found that the special fried rice was bland, dry and mainly plain rice. Sometimes I found that the food would come Luke warm not hot. Not everything was bad, I liked the dry barbeque ribs really good, but after I was sick I can't go back. Try at your own risk.

The order was late for close to 2 hours. I had to call the restaurant twice to ask where my order was. When the food arrived, I was very much disappointed because the crispy duck I was sent was crispy burnt leftovers from a pot. The springroll was drenched in oil and soggy. With only a few bits of duck. Won't order from them again

Absolute disgrace! The service I received just now! A valued customer for years! They got one of my orders wrong, I called them and they said “sorry will send driver straight back!” 20 mins nothing, I only live 2 min drive away!! I said come get your order I want a refund, “no you can’t have refund we have cooked your order”, I explained my grand daughter has half her food! He actually hung the phone up on me twice! 😡😡 the absolute cheek of him to tell me to go there! Well I did! Absolutely disgusting service when it was their mistake!!

Avoid this place at all costs! After ordering £30 worth of food from this place it arrives and most food has spilled out of their bags / boxes (justified by ‘well it was a bumpy ride’ by the owner) still since we were hungry we attempted to plate up my mum ordered pancake rolls which were like something I’ve never seen before pure slop in a bag & nothing like any pancake roll we’ve seen just fell apart onto the plate. We tried the rest of the food salt and pepper chips, chow mien etc. all gross. So my mum called up and was met with the very rude and dismissive owner, who apparently has never experienced bad reviews before yet this google thread says otherwise! When my mum was explaining it to him I could hear him shouting at her even though the phone was not on speaker! He was saying to her he would redeliver the 2 pancakes Rolls but that was it. I told my mother to pass me the phone and again told him the situation calmly, he was very rude to me and told me he would be losing out on money if he refunded me, well I am losing out on money ordering from your inedible Chinese! Eventually he got too frustrated to communicate further and passed the phone to a different (much calmer more respectful approach) who explained he would also feel frustrated and was sorry for his manager we eventually settled on a refund for just the 2 pancake rolls & chow mien £15.2, he told me his manager would drop it off shortly. Despite this I still wasted over £10 on food I couldn’t eat that they wouldn’t refund. When manager came he was very confrontational and asked for the food back which was no problem ( I would have taken a photo to show you how abysmal the food was if he didn’t want the slop back in a bag 😂) He handed me £13 and said that’s all you’re getting , do you want it or not. I took it and said I’ll write a review about this & he shouted in my street don’t order from here again. Don’t worry, you didn’t need to tell us. We never will. Disgusting food & disgusting owner.

Sweet and sour chicken balls were not right , crispy but underneath was black . Veg rice veg was not cooked.

REally lovely food! Tastes delicious and delivery was eaerlier than expected. And still really warm!

Estimated delivery time was 1hr 20mins! Shown on Just Eat. Then nothing else came up! After 35 minutes I called Restaurant, who said food was ready, but no driver, they use their own!! Why isn’t Just Eat using their drivers? Although food arrived 30 mins after my call, before estimate, it was cold!! Had to reheat in microwave! Food tasted OK , but that’s not the point! Service was bad!

We've eaten here quite a few times but somethings happened to the dishes - overpowered with celery (!) - cooked cucumber? brutal beef dish that tasted like it had a tonne of Bovril in it. Not great - I really hope it gets back to how it was....I still can't get over the celery is Chinese food...

I bought egg fried rice and took one bite and it was SO PLAIN so I explained this to them and expressed that I couldn’t eat this and only had a spoon and would happily return it. they told me “other people like it” and could offer any solution until I became upset and offered me a refund which I agreed too. On my way back to the shop they called me and told me that the chef said I cannot have a refund or any sort of resolution. THEIR SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! food doesn’t taste nice

Such lovely people! Made a mistake when ordering and choose collection instead of delivery. Called them half an hour after collection was due, explained I must have made a mistake somehow and they remade a new order and got it delivered ASAP! Very grateful and will certainly keep ordering from them!

Delivery time was okay but the delivery quality so bad. The liquid was spill out inside the package. Not happy with it.

Food quality was terrible i ordered salt and pepper ribs and chicken the ribs had no bone were about 1cm size and were 90% gristle and the chicken was non existent the box contained pieces of fried batter and vegtables

Ordered Chinese as was my birthday and wanted to celebrate with some favourite food, egg fried rice had no egg in it, was just white rice. Beancurd curry with cashew nuts was tasteless, literally no taste at all. The only reasonable thing was the spring rolls but the sauce was a bit dubious. So disappointed.

I just ordered from here like 20 mins ago. I've been eating here for years but tonight's meal were abysmal. The food wasn't hot, it felt reheated. The mixed seafood fried rice was too salty and full of onions, they were like 6 seafoods if I could call it that. The prawn and shredded duck fried rice were bland, very bland. The quality has really gone down and I'm going down with it. I'm scared I might get food poisoning. Never again!!

Didn't deliver the drink and food was on the tepid side.

Lovely food as always and the generous portions are welcomed. The delivery driver is always polite and the food always arrives piping hot.

Chicken and ribs were both chewy and unpleasnt, and none of the food was very flavourful. Portion sizes were good though and the delivery was far quicker than estimated.

Ordered a takeawya for the first time from here and it has to be one of the best I have had in a long time. The food was excellent and fresh and still hot when it arrived. The portion sizes were good and the price is very reasonable Will defiantly order again.

Food was bland and a little dry unfortunately. Although the pancake rolls were okay, the rice should have had more flavour. The yellow sauce was not too bad, but unfortunately there was not much tofu in the main dish and it was mostly veg. Drivers customer service should also have been a little better, as there was no customary hello or thank you, etc.

Not worth it at all. Explained i wanted 2 types of fried rice NOT white rice as that mistake was made before when going, they gave me boiled rice and chicken pretty much again. my sweet and sour ribs had barely any meat on the bone and didn’t have an ounce of sweet just purely sour overall just wasn’t enjoyable. Really gone downhill since i started going here, not worth it anymore

Normally great food. Today was disappointing. Food lacked flavour and the chicken was rock solid hard. Very disappointing for a treat that is usually well worth the money.

Tried this place yesterday, after just moving into the area. I must say I was not disappointed! Clean facilities, friendly staff, and delicious food. Simple and quick, reminded me of food at home! Not too pricy either, definitely recommend

I have bought many a takeaway from here over the years. I have seen the owners children growing up in there helping their parents with taking orders.

This restaurant is always reliable and good quality. Usually we would give a higher star rating but one star off today as we did not enjoy one of the dishes. We ordered a Thai dish which is labelled vegetarian, and requested in the comments not to use any animal products. Upon arrival this dish smelt strongly of fish so we called up to check. Apparently they use a vegetarian flavouring, which some people may enjoy but for us it just tasted too much like fish. Just mentioning it as a heads up to other veg*ans who may not enjoy fish flavours. Also this restaurant always bring us complimentary prawn crackers which we cannot eat - I'm aware most people would see complimentary food as a good thing so ... just saying. Anyway everything else was delicious today and good quality.

Ordered Singapore fried rice, special chow mien and fried shredded beef. Everythibf was extremely dry and very very bland. The beef was so hard, either overcooked or microwaved for too long. Could chip a tooth. Will not be going back.
