The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

Corner House chinese food was a joke, his reply to my first review is an absolute lie and it had nothing to do with pick up we went in to order and waited so get your FACTS right what we complained about was the lack of food quality, who orders chilli beef and it is the colour of an orange lol an absolute joke 😃 just own it your business is going down the pan, like the food lol and you just reply 8 months after I wrote the review your customer service is 🚻

Much improved food quality from 2 years ago with new owner. Like most Chinese takeaways, the same menu for the last 60 years.

Had a vegetable curry, sauce was quite watery and not a lot of it, been coming here for years and never had a complaint, hope its a one off

Genuinely foods ok and standard - service is beyond poor and over priced. Please learn customer service it’s important and the covid masks are a little bit out of date. As the title says luke warm average, order at one time and collect earlier - if not look somewhere else, we wont go here again.

Since I can remember in the 70's, this used to be the best Chinese takeaway for miles, unfortunately, now it's one of the worst! We ordered a takeaway for 3 of us for my husbands birthday, new year's eve. We placed the order at 8.30pm and received it shortly before 11pm! We appreciate they were busy but when the food arrived it was luke warm, the chips were dry and cold and the satay chicken looked like 4 turds in a foil tray... they didn't even taste like satay! The chilli beef was lovely though. That's about the only positive I can honestly give for this food on this occasion!

Started using this takeaway after our local one shut, they allways deliver good quality chinese food very helpful staff. Use them all the time now

My order tonight was very bad not cooked the chicken was raw and smells like bad eggs I would like my money back please so bad the food so bad and last week my husband had someone teeth in the food

Ehhhh OK vomit inducing,stodgey and gristle,now if this your idea of dinner then go for it, mine went into bin AGAIN yes again, I decided to give them one last go, and disgusting slop and think place needs proper chef who understands how to actually cook a beef curry. No more chances

Rang for a take away meal, gave full post cade along with full directions as to where exacltly we were situated. It's a straight road from turning off the A10. We were told that they were busy and it would be 30-45 minutes delivery time which was fine. 55 minutes later the food still hadn't arrived. I Got a phone call from the delivery driver saying he couldn't find us, so I again told him where he needed to be. So another 10 minutes, and another phone call later from a nearby resident using his phone,saying he couldn't find the house, between us we managed to direct him down the road to where after yet another wrong turn, he finally managed to get to our address. I was outside waiting for him after the first phone call approximately 15 minutes, only to get inside and unpack a cold meal. I had to microwave the meal to make it an edible temperature. For a cost of over £25 the service was very poor and the meal now soggy having been microwaved was also poor. I rang within 5 minutes to let them know the situation and they simply didn't care and lied about the expected delivery time. Well having checked my phone log in I know who was telling the truth and it wasn't Wing On. Poor meal, service and attitude. Very disappointing all round.

Quick, easy and delicious. The menu is simple, but the outcome is always good. A family favourite for all ages. Duck in plum sauce is our favourite ... at the minute

Thought I’d give an up to date review as the previous years paint a poor picture. Have always had a lovely meal from wok and go. Food is always hot on arrival and my order is never wrong. Phone service is very polite and efficient and thd drivers are also very polite and prompt. Five star review from our house for the last few years. Keep up the great service. Thanks 👍

I eat here regularly but usually order it to go — they’re a little on the pricey side but well worth it. This the best Chinese restaurant for vegetarians and vegans, they offer almost all main-menu options with a veggie alternative and they’re not just replacing things with basic veg like other places. Vegan “chicken style” balls are delicious and always crispy, love the chow mein and portions are always enough to share.

Today we order a family meal !!! Which we paid 25 just for a half chicken half pounder burger and a fillet burger meal and tbh the food was so cold and not to be ok to be eat as per food standards .( The garlic sauce was like water Chil souce same ) I ask my burger to be plain no salad and it come with a luttece and all items that we receive was really cold. After all I call them ...they told me is nothing we can do about vif I m not happy not to order from them !!!!!! Please Avoid !!! They used to be good before like 2 years ago ! Long story short they don't care about them costumers any more !!!!! AGAIN PLEASE AVOID !!!!!

Restaurant was empty, food barely warm and several hours old. Sriveled up chips, spring rolls and chicken balls. Cheap Tesco Swiss roll and cake bars cut up as dessert. Don't waste your time or money!
