Ehhhh OK vomit inducing,stodgey and gristle,now if this your idea of dinner then go for it, mine went into bin AGAIN yes again, I decided to give them one last go, and disgusting slop and think place needs proper chef who understands how to actually cook a beef curry. No more chances

We moved into the area last year and thought we'd try out the local Chinese takeaway. The food has always been great and hot. They don't do a deliver service so can miss out a little there. The food is always ready on time. I would recommend and will be returning.

Visited for a takeaway meal and was disappointed because previously this had been very good. On this occasion the food was not up to standard. We chose the mixed starters, these gave the impression that they were reheated perhaps more than once or perhaps kept hot for an extended period, either way they were expensive, dry and unpleasant. The rest of the meal was so so, I’m not sure this is going to be repeated

Ordered for 4 people tonight and waited over an hour. It was fairly busy but there was no apology - pretty rude and many people were given their order before us even though we ordered way before them. It wasn’t only us, others orders were over an hour and some who booked were over 20 minutes late. I would not recommend this place at all. Avoid! 😡

Got a kungPo Veggie dish,looking forward to it. Got home only only to discover it was a deep fried Alsatian. Kinda pissed off really as I’m a vegetarian.

The finest food for miles around. Once tried you will soon notice the quality. Highly recommended. Situated in Stotfold. But people travel miles to get quality.

I have ordered from here on a number of times but this time was really worried when I found two pieces of chicken in my sweet and sour vegetable dish especially as I am vegetarian. It suggests that perhaps the same pans are being used or maybe even the same base for dishes!

The best around I have tried most in the area people moan about slow service I rarely have to wait and for me that just shows it’s a popular takeaway I would rather wait a short while for nice food then quickly get a load of crap

Have ordered from here many times over the last 5 years and it is quickly going downhill. Tonight the service was incredibly slow and there was no apology when it still took 20 minutes longer than the given time. Such a shame. Stotfold needs a friendly Chinese restaurant/takeaway who take card payment and deliver. Waiting for an hour and 20 mins for a takeaway for 3 people is very disappointing.

Delicious food, very well priced and easy to get to. The food is always very tasty - and well cooked. The chilli beef is cooked as you arrive to pick up your takeaway - how about that for freshness? We use this chinese nearly every week!

Used this place month in month out for 20 years now. Always been great but last 6 months its gone down hill. Orders quoted as 15 minutes taking over an hour, wrong dishes being given out.... It's such a shame, please owners, sort it out.

I have been to many take aways in my time but this is by far the best, it is a shame they dont deliver though. Love that the food is so tasty and they don't use msg!

Favourite Chinese have tried several in surrounding villages bit always go back here as food Is much nicer. Only down fa is don't deliver

Maybe that's it because the restaurant says it doesn't use MSG in any of its dishes, but my few experiences with the food at Peking House are not exemplary. You can wander into Letchworth and find 3-4 restaurants that have more tasty and higher quality food. If you are in the locality and can't be bothered to travel, then you can do much worse, but if you are prepared to venture out that little bit further, then you can find better. Fundamentally, there is nothing wrong with the food here, but it does leave you a little wanting for something inherently better.
