Happy House Chinese in East Cambridgeshire

Started using this takeaway after our local one shut, they allways deliver good quality chinese food very helpful staff. Use them all the time now

I have been getting takeaways from here for twenty five years, through owner changes etc. Always impressed. My friends all travel miles now to get food. Knockout.

Always order from Happy house and their food is always good. Best chinese take away in the area by far.

Good care at reasonable prices. Curry not too claggy. Singapore rice was a meal in itself.Good service with home delivery available.

If I didn’t have to I wouldn’t give them any stars after how we were spoken too and treated. They had sent us one large egg fried rice instead of the two small that we had ordered and when we called to explain the error we were shouted at and called liars... I’m appalled. We just wanted our order corrected and they shouted over us every time we tried to speak. I could not believe it having ordered there in the past and having had a wonderful experience. My brother explained that we had the call recorded and she then threatened him screaming “come on then bring it here! go on then” the delivery driver then got back and took the phone screaming “you’re wrong! You’re wrong!” But we have the phone call proving that we said and were read back “two small egg fried rice” I’m absolutely disgusted! We were then hung up on. I will definitely NOT be ordering from here EVER again. DO NOT RECOMMEND

This was our first time using Happy House, for a Chinese takeaway, it was very good, and will use again.

I've been a frequent customer, until this weekend when I found a snail in my chicken curry! Needless to say I WILL NOT be a customer anymore! Au revoir.

It was really bad, we ordered chicken in sweet and sour sauce, too much sugar in it. Comparing all take aways in Littleport happy house is the worst. We have got it late and all food was cold.

This is one of Littleport's local takeaway. It is a little gem. It does the best pancake rolls that I know. Also, all the dishes are great, especially the chow mein, curries and the dumplings with ginger and vinigerette. I love this place!

Walked past this place during my visit for the bikefest earlier this year. Clearly its been here a while as it shows in the lack of cleanliness of the place. Ended up throwing away most of it as it just tasted of old oil thats been used far too long. Tried 'good taste takeaway' down the road the day after and also 'wok this way takeaway' the following week while in town for another event. Both places are much better than this place by far. Not normally one to moan as I usually only like to give positive feedback but this place really needs to improve.

Called in for a takeaway while on business in the area. Courteous prompt service followed by one of the best impromptu evening meals I have had from a takeaway. The chips were great, very moreish, and such a good helping considering I only ordered a small portion. The king prawn foo yung was stuffed with juicy prawns and a good curry sauce to accompany. I wish they were just down the road from me instead of 150 miles away!

This place changes hands quite often, but I have usually been more than happy with my meal. My most recent was excellent. Really enjoyed it

great food always go their if I want a Chinese takeout not much else I can say really except the best Chinese around

This takeaway was the worst we have ever tasted. Everything was flavourless and the prawns slimy . The noodles had just been flavoured with what seemed to be cheap curry powder. We tried to give the takeaway some feedback in the spirit of trying to help improve things and the person who answered the phone was rude and constantly talked over what was being said

This is the only Chinese that I will eat from in the area. It has good service and also lots of variety on the menu. Good value for your money!!
