Food arrived quickly hence 3 stars. Menu is extensive, food was generally meh. One item we had previously has been removed from menu (ribs, prawn toast, spring rolls, crunchy seaweed entre box) but decided to go with it anyway. Will not be buying again.

Unfortunately delivery is now minimum £25! That’s ridiculous especially when it’s an order for 1 person. Cannot justify ordering over £25 worth of food that I will only throw away, can’t even call in now as it’s delivery only, shame as used to be a good takeaway.

Ordered for collection. Arrived at time given. Food already waiting. When the food arrived home, duck rolls completely cold (like fridge cold) and really soggy. Chips were cold. Sweet & sour pork had very little sauce, chow mean was warm, chicken balls rubbery. Rice and chow mean were edible. Also ordered a half duck, I've had more meat off a 1/4 than I got off of it. It was clearly over cooked and the majority of it was bone! Really disappointed and won't return

Driver refused to deliver my order and he was late. I had to guide hi m in and he was extremely rude

Insanely quick delivery. Commented this to driver who said they're extremely quiet. Shame though, as noodles and chips were good, but the duck rolls tasted like they're probably frozen and reheated as was icy cold to the touch and the pastry was soggy. Only had one bite and had to spit it out. Shame really, used to be really nice food. £18 for some chips, noodles and soggy frozen duck wraps is insane. Never be ordering again. Food does take a while but they warn you of this upfront when you order online - absolutely worth the wait though and the best Chinese in the area! They always listen to any special requests and delivery staff have always been lovely

The Chinese I had from here last night was the worst I’ve had from here chow main was overcooked beef with mushrooms was also no taste too it at all chicken balls were okay binned the rest of it. Really disappointing

Used to be my Chinese takeaway of choice but after tonight, not any more. Ok, I live in Ely but from ordering to delivery... 1hr 45mins. Was a decent size order, but absolutely everything was bland and tasteless, to the point I didn't want it. Will not be using them again.

I use to rate this place a 4/5 star but I've had to change it. The food has gone down hill and every time I order feom there over the last year I get horrific stomach pains. I tried again last night BIG mistake, what ever they out in their food isn't right. I don't get stomach pains and cramps from any food but from here... never again

They need to improve a bit the quality of the meat 🥩, frozen meat taste different if is not handled carefully.

How is this take away is still open?? The tempura prawns were so overcooked I couldn't tell what was prawn and what was shell, all the same texture! Their 'new' chicken dish with hoi sin tasted about 2 years out of date. Rubbery and congealed. The chow mein was tasteless and dry. Such terrible cookery. I don't know how they don't feel ashamed to serve it to customers! Avoid at all costs.

I didn’t want to be harsh but the sweet and sour Hong Kong style chicken we ordered just had a bunch of raw sliced onions over the top with a some peppers and pineapple in the sauce. Pieces of the chicken were hard from being over cooked. The dish just didn’t look appetising at all. Would not order from again!

Satay chicken on skewers was amazing an the egg fried rice as well, i ordered an extra pot of the sauce and it was so good indeed This is my opinion and nobody else's.

I gave this place many changes and it went worse so this was my last order from them . All food which we ordered was awful , the kids didn ‘t even touch it and they usually eat chinese . The Chicken wrap is just few chinesse pancakes and the chicken meat which is tasteless, no sauerkraut no cucumber and spring onions as stated . Tasteless food , not properly cooked .

This is our go-to takeaway Chinese restaurant. The food is always really tasty and the menu has a huge variety of options. They have an online ordering option via their website which works pretty well, I quite like that as it saves any miscommunications. The deliveries have always been pretty fast and with the food still hot I cannot fault it there either. If you are in the area and fancy some good food, you can't really go wrong here.

Great portion sizes for what you pay, overall taste is good but sometimes can be hit or miss and that's why I've given a 4 star. Easy to order online too which is convenient.

Ordered here by accident but thought hey ho let’s give it ago! It was really easy to order online and was delivered in good time, but the food really wasn’t very good, which is a complete shame, as if it had been as nice as where we normally go, we would have gone back as they deliver and the take away we usually use doesn’t. It’s a real shame, never mind.

Do Not Order Here! Mushroom fried rice contains meat The customer service when reporting the food had meat in a veggie option was disgusting. The manager swearing at you for asking for a refund. Trust me gordan ramsey couldn't even help this place!

The food just wasn't very good at all and really lacking in flavour. The chili beef was particularly disappointing, the sauce was so bland and it just tasted like sweetened water. Delivery was prompt though

We have a delivery from the Golden Dragon every Saturday night. Always top quality, chicken balls and prawn balls are huge, best sweet and sour sauce around. Reliable and friendly service, highly recommended.

Food is great but unfortunately if your Disabled or Shielding at this time and live in a flat DO NOT ORDER as the Delivery Lady REFUSED to come up to the flat I live in and called me a LIAR when I said I was Disabled. She left with food which was delivered 15 mins later by owner with a very weak apology and we ended up with lukewarm food..... We will NEVER ORDER AGAIN FROM THERE SADLY......

The food was awful spent 40 and could of not eat the squid and half the chips. The satay chicken was like rubber, the ribs so dry, the rice bland, noodles tasted burnt, prawn balls were some really dry awful meat , seaweed was ok, it was all Luke warm after a ten minute drive home, still in th boxes as want a refund. Probably the worst ever changing near to-date. So do disappointing.

So this is our local chinese and we have pretty much ordered a lot from this menu. The main meals (stir frys, rice etc) are not great BUT their starters are so good that we get full off them and only ever get starters from them! Best crispy duck pancakes we've ever tasted. Would also recommend the sesame prawn toast and garlic mushrooms.

The hot and sour soup is decent and a large portion so that's a positive! And we didn't get sick....... That was it..... The sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style sauce is store bought or something but it tasted awful, the egg fried rice had a strange after taste and just didn't taste right....the rest of the meal was horrible..... I don't recommend this place and honestly in these tough times a good product is key to survival and with this kind of food they won't last long. Good luck in your future endeavour and please stay away from food industry.

Fast delivery, INSANE food! The team are always so friendly too, their crispy beef is always a winner and their set menus are amazing value!

Chicken chow mein is really dry and has a nasty after taste and a tiny portion for £5. Chicken curry is like jelly. Hardly any flavour. Dumplings are a gross mess..

Website easy to order from and delivery arrived quicker than expected, with a friendly delivery driver. However, that's the only positives of my experience. The sauce on the satay chicken is more of a watery liquid than a sauce. Chicken was very dry and over cooked, couldn't even bite into it. Noodles were fine, but not good. Sweet sour chicken again, overcooked. Wouldn't recommend or go again.

Placed an order on their app, paid, was told it was being made. Waited over an hour and still no food so I contacted them and was told nobody made my food, they were closed now and I would get a refund in 3-5 days. I have no dinner, everything else is shut and I'm out of pocket for now. I was apologised to but that hardly helps. Extremely disappointed and hungry.

Ordered from here a few times since reopening and it's been good. This time although very fast delivery the satay sauce was grainy and extremely salty - inedible.

Not sure why many of the options are so soppy. Some of the food is decent but for the most part, you get a cup of liquid in the container with whatever meat you order.

Spur of the moment Chinese. Great Chinese ordered over the phone and ready within 10 minutes. Absolutely amazing sweet and sour chicken balls :) And they also now have a 5 star food hygiene rating.

Really disappointed after having great food from here in the past, but always collected. This time had it delivered. After being told it would be 45-60mins it eventually turned up after 1hr 15mins and was like warm!!! Such a shame!!!

My wife and I ordered food for the family as we do sporadically from The Golden Dragon in Soham. It's usually takes up to an hour so an hour and 40 minutes in , my wife called to see where our foid was. To say the **** on the other end of the line was rude is an understatement. All because my wife asked them to wave the delivery charge as it was so late as a gesture of goodwill. We went onto the wrbsite to leave a review to see that we have been blocked feom ordering anymore. Quite frankly I'd rather eat elsewhere anywhere - And all over the price of a portion of chips you have lost our regular business. 8 years of loyalty. Well never mind there are others so shove it.

To be very honest I’ve used the golden dragon over 15 times never been effected by what is described in the other reviews. Tonight again a good solid meal.

Better to go in and pick up. Delivery is over an hour every time, no matter what day or time.

Had friends round last night for a take a way. Nothing good to say about the meal. The whole meal was awful, so embarrassing when you ve treated friends and you have to apologise to them. Will not be using them again

Service was ok but quality of food was poor. It was that bad that I ended up being very unwell from the food and my pregnant partner ended up even worse and on a drip in hospital so I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Lucky to even get one star.

After not visiting for near 3 years I decided to give them a try again. Following my previous 2 star review, this time food was much better, phoned order through and was ready in 15 minuets:)

Quick delivery never had any problems

Ordered Szechuan chicken, egg rice and chips. Sauce tasted odd, but was okay. Chicken was like rubber - was well over done. Whole dish was thrown away. Chips were greasy but to be expected. Has dramatically gone down hill over last few months. Thankfully we have the excellent Good Luck takeaway just down the road.

12 months ago I’d have given this place 5 stars. But food is not as tasty these days, maybe a change in supplier? However it’s still ok and they offer delivery.

The quality of the food has steadily declined. The food used to be great but I'm not sure what happened. From about 3 years ago, the quality's gone downhill. Now virtually everything is deep-fried and generic in flavour. Staff and service still great though. But I'd recommend they update the menu (and chef).

We have had food from here lots of times and it varies greatly, things missing and varying degrees of quality cooked dishes with no consistency. When it first opened service and quality was good but gradually it has got worse. We decided to have one last Saturday to celebrate my wife's birthday after a day out we spent £43.30 it was the biggest waste of money. Most of it was burnt or greasy one of the bags was full of cooking oil once we had taken the food out. The only thing I ate that wasn't burnt was the prawn balls in my sweet and sour mixed balls, on the inside of the pork ones the meat was almost raw and the chicken was so tough you couldn't cut with a normal knife in the end I threw it away this is the last time I buy from here for a long time it is not cheap to buy and I expect to have decent food maybe they need to renew their cooking staff.

Tried out a takeaway from this place for the first time. The delivery time of the food was good, and the food came nice and hot. Got exactly what I was expecting, food was good flavoured, and the price of the food is very reasonable and so is the portion size. If you're looking for a reasonable Chinese good, at a good price then I'd recommend trying this. Will definitely be ording again sometime soon.

From our first experi nice this has definitely gone down hill!!!! I would not recommend this take away at all. Delivered food takes forever and is cold and congealed when it arrives. The rice tastes rank and the chips must be a few days old leftovers. I ended up sick and bad after the last take away never again and since this have been warn d how bad it is. Go to this takeaway at you own peril!!!!!

I selected for my order to be delivered at 21:00 and received a call at 20:00 saying someone was at my home trying to deliver. I wasn't home hence why I had selected 21:00. I had to head back early and it was delivered at 20:30

Food over cooked and you could tell most of it had been hanging around in sweaty bags for hours. One of the fortune cookies I ordered for my kids didn't even have a fortune in it...won't be ordering from there again.

I waited over 1hr15mins for an appetiser with a dipping sauce and one rice dish, and I pre-ordered! The fact that they charged me for delivery AND card fee is ridiculous at this kind of waiting time. If I walked and ordered on the spot I probably would have been home with my food in 30mins, with all the travel time. The food doesn't wow either.

Good food, second time I've ordered from this place and on BOTH occasions the duck in PLUM sauce I've ordered and duck in ORANGE sauce has not been what I was given. If you don't supply the option why have it? I thought it may of been a mistake as a one of but second time I assume different

Everything was OK, but they forgot a portion of chips which was on the order, so I had to ring them up to get them delivered, my partner had her food before me as I had to wait for my chips to arrive.

Lovely food, reasonable delivery time (within window), just didn't receive confirmation email to say they'd received my order so had to phone up to confirm.
