No No Duck in Colchester

I eat here regularly but usually order it to go — they’re a little on the pricey side but well worth it. This the best Chinese restaurant for vegetarians and vegans, they offer almost all main-menu options with a veggie alternative and they’re not just replacing things with basic veg like other places. Vegan “chicken style” balls are delicious and always crispy, love the chow mein and portions are always enough to share.

Worst Chinese restaurant I have ever visited in town. Too expensive for the quality of food and service they offer . We were waiting for a long time at the tablet before being served. A man , looked like the owner was loudly talking to his friend , who was eating on another tablet. This man didn’t take any notice of us at all. A female staff finally came to us to take our order after finished attending a child at another end of the restaurant floor. We ordered roast duck with rice. We were shocked to find there were only six THINLY sliced roast duck on a small plate. We were charged over £22 for the duck and rice , not including drink. We both agreed that we are not going back there again. I don’t recommend this place to eat .

Best Chinese for Vegetarians. best i have ever had. We had 1 x Vegetarian Chicken Balls £6.50 2 x Egg Fried Rice (Standard) £6.60 1 x Mini Vegetable Rolls (10) £3.50 2 x Vegetarian Satay Chicken on Skewers (5) £11.80 1 x Vegetarian Duck with Chilli Black Bean Sauce £6.50 1 x Vegetarian Crispy Aromatic Duck with pancake £7.50 1 x Vegetarian Curry Chicken £6.50 It was all so nice I am 55 years old and have never in my life had a Chinese take away as good as this it was all perfect. If they keep this standard I will never go anywhere else again. I collected my self and drove 7 miles home with no special bag and it was still hot when i got home.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever eaten. Food was bland and tasted old. Rude staff members also. Avoid at all costs!

Lovely new restaurant specials peking Roast duck and crackling pork is excellent food was fresh and lovely good service order of the chinise menu if you can handle the spicy Szechuan hot pot it’s top notch 👌🏾
