The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and food. We were visiting Maldon for an overnight stay and can honestly say its the best Chinese meal we have had for a very long time.

Food is good and good value for a lunch time meal.

We were met with a friendly welcome. The food was served fast and was hot and cooked well. Very tasty! We will definitely visit again.

Always our go-to Chinese Restaurant when we’re here on holiday. The food is fresh, generous portion sizes, staff are polite. Full of flavours that are fresh and delicious. A wide range of dishes to choose from on the menu, pricing is reasonable. Five Stars all round ✨✨✨✨✨

We visit 92 noodle bar every time we are in Ipswich. The food is fresh, authentic and beautifully cooked. Service is always friendly and quick. You can get rice noodles instead of egg noodles on request for any dish, so helps me as I need to have gluten free food. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

One of our all-time favourite Chinese restaurants, Forum House is consistently excellent with really great food. We're happy to drive the 20 minutes it takes us to get to Great Shelford to eat there. Our favourite dishes are the salt and pepper ribs and calamari starters. The salt and pepper aubergine is also addictively good, as is their garlic Pak Choi. Service is always welcoming and professional with staff who remember you. It’s been in business for around 30 years for good reason, I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Service was a bit slow, but food was worth the wait

The food was cold and not fresh! Stuff members who work there need to be trained properly! Extremely rude. Very bad customer service!!

Well what can I say about this amazing little Chinese restaurant! Have been here many times for takeaway and used the restaurant, brilliant food, always hot and served quickly with amazing flavour throughout the entire menu. The staff are excellent, 2 young girls work on the front counter, serving tables and answering the telephone, they are a delight, always so friendly and welcoming with a smile on their face. The staff really make this place special Keep up the good work and we will be visiting again soon Mrs C

Delivery driver gave me the wrong order then nocked again to give me the right order didn't even know how much I owed so I had to tell him then to top it off I didn't even eat half off my food because it made me feel sick after a few bites leading to me being sick 10 minutes after I thought I'd try a new place for once but never again

This Chinese is exceptionally good the food is to die for I can’t believe my luck to live near this Chinese there is no wheelchair access but they take your order and bring it to you at the door it’s take away only but believe me the food is worth it I recommend the chicken and mushrooms oh and the chicken chow mein omg I feel hungry I’m off to have a Chinese from here in minutes yummy

The lady who answers the phone has a very rude manner, as if I’m irritating her by ordering. I asked for the food to be well done and she reluctantly said okay. I get the peppercorn chicken wings and they’re slimey and not how I liked them. I called twice with the request to make sure they were well done, and felt sick after eating. Been coming for years but won’t be coming again. Disconnect between her and the chefs? Disappointed.
