Took over an hour to arrive and food was cold

My order never arrived. I called 18 times and no one answered: I emailed the restaurant. I messaged on Instagram and no one bothered to reply. Spent over £50 and no food! Do not order! I do not recommend!

First time visiting this place and it did not disappoint. We dined here a bit late in the evening and it was not busy at all. They were very busy with takeaways. The waitress was very friendly and attentive although she was busy with takeaway orders. We ordered the chicken bao bao and firecracker wings for starters and the katsu chicken fries and mae gorang noodles. The portions were quiet big for us so we got to bring half our meal home. Would definitely recommend this place. It has a nice atmosphere with a friendly service. The food was delicious as well. Definitely will be coming back here again if we are in the area.

Forget Wagamamas this is the new Wagamamas but with flavour! Highly recommend our 10th time eating here!!

Monday I tried your food that was outstanding.Specially cook was brilliant.I’ll recommend my family,friends and colleagues once’s visit this restaurant.At last,I’ll thanks the chef who made my food.

Large menu & halal too. Only downside is the lack of "sides" available (they don't even sell normal chips / fries (but made an "exception for us 😂) or plain noodles for children). The "dumplings" did not appear to be fresh and were quite hard by the time they arrived... Apart from that, everything else was spot on.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the veg and chicken cowmin. The service at RAYU is top-notch! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Kudos to the entire teams. I’ve been to many similar restaurants, but this one truly stands out. Really lovely food. We have been getting take away from here for a while but this was the first time coming to the restaurant and the food was still amazing. Could have done with some background music or something as it was quite quiet in there but the lady serving us was lovely. Would definitely recommend!

unfortunately the noodle dish I ordered seemed like someone else's leftovers! the noodles were mashy and broken, there was a used lime wedge and a tofu piece in my chicken noodle dish. this is completely unacceptable. unfortunately you may have lost a regular customer :(

hadn't ordered from here in a while. The driver delivered the wrong items, after calling the restaurant they were able to rectify the mistake and drop the correct order off within 5 mins. as gor the food, disappointed this time, the chicken was swimming in oil! couldn't eat it at all and just picked the few chunks of chicken out.

Had it twice, 10/10. Will run it up again…. The beef bao buns are on point.

Food didn't arrive until 8.50pm - it was marked as delivered on the website/app before it actually arrived. The Pad Thai was very mushy, not the best. The Panang Curry was very good! More frustrated with the delivery - and lack of communication!

The firecracker dish with noodles and prawns was absolutely delightful! The combination of spicy flavours from the firecracker seasoning, the texture of the noodles, and the freshness of the prawns likely created a harmonious and satisfying meal. It is a dish with a perfect balance of flavours and textures!

Food was delicious and flavourful with good portion sizes. The menu had a lot of options to choose from. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Everything halal.

It was our first time trying Rayu, we collected a takeaway and when paying for the food my dad accidentally handed the member of staff serving us two twenty pound notes instead of one. I got a call on the way home to explain we’d over paid and we went back to the restaurant where the member of staff gave us the £20 note. This was so kind and says so much about Rayu and the lovely staff you have. On top of this the food was so tasty and very generous in portion size. Thank you for a great experience we’ll definitely be returning!

Found this place while walking through Luton. Food is super delicious and extremely tasty. However, they do not accommodate for special requests. I had asked to has the noodles but without vegetables and was told that was not possible and I was very rudely told to choose something else from the menu. Found this very strange, not everyone likes every single vegetable put into the dishes, why are they not allowed to choose which ones they want and which ones they don't? Everyone has different tastes. It was a very reasonable request, that could have been easily accommodated food. The food is supposedly made fresh, so it was a matter of simply not adding said vegetables during the cooking process. Found it very strange and weird. The waiter did not even try to ask the chef if it was possible, he rudely dismissed me and told me to choose something else. At least he could have made an effort to find out! It is quite a pricey place, so atleast give or try to give customers what they request. The place was not even busy, it only had one or two other tables. Very strange experience! May not return because of it! Edited: Response from the owner was to send an email to the address provided, which was done in January. I am still waiting for a response from the owner. Clearly they take their customers for granted. Please avoid.

Just got a delivery order from here through Deliveroo. It really was very nice indeed. Best Asian food I’ve had from anywhere by a long margin. Chicken katsu was insanely delicious. Steak chow main was insanely delicious. Korean wings were.. yes you guessed it. Insanely delicious. Will definitely be trying these again next time I’m in Luton visiting my girlfriend. Thanks

Really disappointed with food this time. Ordered lots of time before and has been delicious. However ordered Teriyaki Sirloin beef, which I have had plenty of times before which has been lovely. Paid 15 quid but this time food packaging changed and the sirloin was awful. Not much of it and tiny pieces which has never been the case before. Also ordered Korean bbq chicken bites which I have had before which were gorgeous but this time they have sent some hot spicy awful chicken. Wo t be risking ag

disappointed today. I always order the fire cracker chicken from here. not sure what was sent out today. I had 5 tiny strips of chicken and the box was full of just sauce. it didn't taste nor resemble fire cracker chicken today.

Halal pan asian restaurant! Food was pretty good Alhamdulilah- we tried a range of noodles and enjoyed the firecracker the most (would recommend). Dumplings were delicious and the service was great. Went at 8pm on a weekday so it wasn’t busy at all.

By far one of the best restaurants in Luton and certainly the best pan Asian! Flavours are incredibly good and really hit the spot. Portion sizes are fantastic which is great because you really can’t get enough of the food once you start. Some dishes are very spicy so /do be mindful when ordering! The waitress working on Friday 26th was so nice and pleasant which made our visit very enjoyable. My only recommendations would be to add a menu option for extra meat, also the drinks are somewhat pricey.

Lovely environment everyone was very welcoming, however food flavours became a little sickening. Flavour was bland and didn’t taste right. We ordered the beef teriyaki and katsu chicken.

The food was OK, but the recipe/chef has changed. The Fire Cracker Noodles with chicken tastes different. It’s just spicy with zero taste and the chicken is dry. It used to be saucy. The Mee Goreng with chicken also tastes different, it doesn’t taste like it did before. I’ve order many times before so I know exactly what it tasted like before but the last few times I didn’t like it at all.

Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Luton town! The food was delicious. Went with my mum, wife and sister and they all thoroughly enjoyed this little gem. For starters we got the Malay sambal chicken wings to share, which were really good. Crispy wings coated in a delicious sambal coating. For mains, mum got the basil chilli noodles with beef, which for me was the standout dish. Flavoursome, spicy and generous portions of beef. The beef was also very tender and not the stringy fatty type you get in other places. I got the Nasi goreng, which was really good, but wouldn't say it was traditional Nasi goreng. I've visited plenty of Malaysian / Indonesian eateries and this was a bit different. But still very nice and very spicy. My wife got the masaman curry, which was creamy and coconuty and a generous portion of chicken. Service was excellent and both the owner and waitress greeted us with smiles upon entering the establishment. It would be great if they had high chairs available for toddlers, my only tec I think there were at least 8 large tables in the restaurant, so plenty of space for families or large groups to visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something other than chicken and chips in Luton !

Honestly one of the best restaurants in Luton. Amazing food. My reason for 4 stars is that when ordering online, the only soft drink options are companies that support the Israeli occupation in Palestine. It would be nice to have another option on the online menus that doesn’t support Israel e.g. Tango.

Excellent for dinner & team building / business meetings. Items ordered at random. I would recommend the Honey Wings, Chicken Bao, Thai Sticky Wings snd Basil Chilli Serloin Beef. Would definitely recommend for professionals or families!! All servings were well cooked and plenty in terms of quality and quantity.

Where do I start, now I understand why they gave a 25% discount, should’ve offered it all for free. The food was disgusting a 3 year old could’ve made better and to make it worse I even checked reviews and half of you are liars you have no taste if you order this you should honestly go throw yourself in the bin. The cheap chocolate in the dessert speaks for itself THIS SHOP SHOULD BE CLOSED. If you want better food don’t order stay home and cook. £70 down the drain

Had a lovely take away from this place tonight after receiving a flyer through the letter box. I had no idea this place even existed, therefore decided to give it a try. The food was delicious and definitely worth the visit . My family and I tried a variety of starters and main dishes and would highly recommend the satay chicken, chilli chicken wings, pad thai and nasi goreng. The masaman curry was also very flavoursome according to my niece. If you’re after fusion cuisine then I would certainly recommend this place.
