Big up boss man quick n friendly service

Tasty chicken, freshly fried chips and friendly service.

Bought 3 pieces of chicken and chips and guy is vert stingy on the sources. Said its only 1 chillie and 1 garlic sauce no matter how many pieces you order. Just to make extra money. First and last time I come here. Avoid!!!

Anywhere which has the Original Southern Fried Branding logo with the boat, sun and river is bound to great, fried chicken does not get any better then the Original Southern Fried lip licking flavour breading, this one seems to be exceptional out of the 5-6 that are in Luton coupled with a good chilli sauce. Try it for your self and see.

Ordered food at 17:20 to be picked up at 19:10 and it wasn’t ready and didn’t arrive until 20:00 when everyone’s break was over and it isn’t the 1st time we’ve poor service but we turned a blind eye to it but not anymore

This shop are horrible and not good service I have been ordered they wasnt send me enough order I think they are so dodger.

When you just want proper chicken and chips, with decent chilli/ garlic, this is the spot. The two brothers running it are diamonds too.

Fantastic quality food. Had a fillet burger meal. Burger was moist and juicy. Fries were perfectly salted and made fresh. Hot wings were also made fresh and absolutely delicious. Very friendly service.

Don't recommend so dry and smelly food

Reviews of this place seem exaggerated. This is a super cheap and grimey looking take away. The food we got was re heated/ old. The food is edible overall but like honestly, this should be your last resort... Like if this was the last chicken shop in Luton, I'd go otherwise nah, I'm not gonna do it again.

Words can’t describe how poor this food is. Wings: Awful presume brought in frozen as they had an awful taste and dry Chicken: no flavour oily and just not appetising at all Chips: greasy and re heated. Towards the end of the meal of the little I ate I had an upset stomach instantly. Felt like throwing up and had shooting my paints on my stomach. Probably the worst fast food I have ever eaten by a long way. Will probably call the food agency as it’s made me feel genuinely sick.

The worst pizza I've actually ever had. Should've went Asda and got £2 pizza. I ate the pizza fresh and the dough was pretty stiff.

Asked for extra chilli after buying lots of food. They said 20p. Offered to pay contactless. They said no. Awful service.

Save your money. Ordered from here before and was good.. not this time yesterday’s fried chicken cut up into small pieces to form a chicken kebab way overpriced and dry the donner meat has been cooked 10x over barely edible. Will never be ordering from this place again.

Very friendly staff. Large portions. Their Mac & Cheese is amazing.

They charge more for food, then surrounding tameaways the food quality is poor. The chips are almost raw and the chicken sometimes is dry. Mutilple times I have tried them they have disappointed.

A.K. and Ali have some competition across the road but not where i am concerned. I have food from there every Friday and i can honestly say never had a bad meal. The guys are always freindly and cater for what you want( my particular thing is crispy chips), they will always have my business.

The worst pizza I’ve ever tried in my life , 100% bad food , made my home sting for 3 days and had bad taste. binned it after half a slice.

a regular customer here! the staff working are so lovely and polite, food is always great and its always a pleasure to buy from here. Would highly recommend! around the school hours you do get quite a few teenagers in there being a nuisance but that isn't the shops fault! great prices and deals and perfect for a quick bite or a dinner :)

Visited this place on Saturday with group of friends. Really enjoyed the food & service. Chicken freshly cooked and great buzzing atmosphere. My experience at southern fried was flawless. I recieved fresh , delicious chicken & chips pizzaa etc in a reasonable amount of time. The environment was clean and amazingly great. I would really recommend this place!! Excellent thanks lads

I was driving pass but had to stop for a bite,the first shop was southern fried chicken the smell attracted me,I asked for 2 breasts and I was given them just the right crispness not dry but just right.The fries were delicious thin and crisp.Did not wait for to long, good service.

Good service and tasty food. Probably not a good idea to go here too often (for health reasons!) but the food is really good :)
