Food taste better than other Chinese store. Highly recommend

We’ve been coming to Man Ho for many years as a family, and it’s always a lovely experience. The service is consistently excellent—friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which really makes a difference. The manager, in particular, was absolutely lovely—very kind and accommodating, which added a special touch to our visit. We came again recently for Mother’s Day and had a really nice time. The food had great texture and was clearly made with care. The only small suggestion I’d make is that some of the dishes could do with a little more seasoning to bring out the flavours—but overall, still a very enjoyable meal. A little nod to Kenny too—thank you for always being around and making the place feel familiar and warm. We had a wonderful visit and appreciate the continued hospitality. Thank you for another lovely meal.

My booking for 9 was cancelled on the day, I was promised to get a voucher never head back from them.

they rang explaining why it would be late. no worries we all enjoyed our food. and it arrived hot

food was not delivered after 2 hour wait

We have ordered from Man Ho twice recently and both times the food has been cold which was disappointing and would make us think twice about ordering from them again even though the food was tasty.

I ordered my food the rice was still hard and it says 10 prawn balls and chicken balls and u only get 8 balls and the sweets and sour sorce in very watery I willnot be ordering from this place again

schaun beef super salty and watery sauce, chips are fries you would normally get if you order 2 pieces of chicken and chips. salt and pepper prawns tuff all 8 of them and a tiny amount of onions garlic and chilli about tea spoon full and rice taste like uncle Ben's microwave normally order from dunstable restaurants thought maybe make a change as this place always had a good reputation but the minimum order was high so never used. must be new management!!! £26 wasted Daved with a e 😞

Found the food to be rather bland. I have had food from Man Ho before and was satisfied with it. But today’s offering left much to be desired. Will I order again? Doubtful

a group of 8 of us went here for my dads birthday and had the BEST night! the food was decent and they went above and beyond to be amazing hosts. All staff were very lovely and the karaoke was great entertainment. We will definitely be back and always recommend for a fun night!

The ingredients are of poor quality not human food

I visited here with friends quite a while ago and thought it was lovely. Was due to visit again and then read the reviews for the past few months and wasn't expecting it to be very good anymore however my friends and I were very happy with our evening at The Man Ho. The food was very tasty, portion sizes were very generous and the staff were lovely. As a vegan this is one of my go to places. There are plenty of vegan options as most things on the menu they will adapt by removing ingredients, adding mock meat etc. Will definitely be visiting again!

Vi kom hit ganske tilfeldig fordi vi ville ha kinesisk mat. Det var 2 søte jenter som var ute i restauranten og virket litt stresset. Jeg ble litt paff da mannen som jobbet der kom ut flere ganger og hadde en nedlatende tone ovenfor disse jentene, midt ute i restauranten hvor alle kunder fikk det med seg. Vi ventet litt på maten, men det gjorde oss ingenting da vi hadde god tid og koset oss med vinen i mellomtiden. Maten var god! Anbefales.

Food delicious and excellent quality as always

We had to wait over an hour to get our food. When it arrived it was basically cold and the food was not nice at all. We were all very disappointed.

The delivery took 1 hour and 30mins just to arrive I had to call the restaurant to find out where they were and when it came it wasn’t hot it was almost cold. Very disappointed I won’t be ordering again.

So disappointed for the first time in years. Food was very late, missing dish and cold food. Phoned the restaurant to check on order as it was quite late - they had an opportunity to tell us at that moment about not having one of the dishes, also immediately told us it’s 2 mins away before confirming who we were. Honestly such a shame because as a big family who all order multiple addresses from here a lot we are disappointed.

Very cold over 1 half hours for dinner

First time ordering from Man Ho. Really disappointed. Most of the food was cold (although strangely a couple of dishes were hot) and tasteless. Prawn toasts cold and curled up at the edges, peking ribs were mostly bone with inedible chewy pieces of gristle. Prawns with cashew nuts in an insipid sauce, mostly consisting of cubes of carrots and peas. Soggy salt and pepper prawns. Out of the many dishes ordered only a couple were half decent - the mixed veg, and the kids enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. Overall not a great first time experience and will not be ordering from them again ☹️

Xmas Eve, now you would expect some decorations, like crackers to pull on the tables, but nothing, the atmosphere was dull, not even Xmas tunes playing! Service was awlful, food, well from someone who has been coming to Manho for some 14 yrs all I can say was disappointing We ordered the mixed plater to start, a teaspoon of seaweed, half a slice of prawn toast each, fatty ribs! For the 1st time I complained and was not prepared to pay £9.80 x2 for that I was looking forward to dining out Xmas eve but felt let down Needless to say we will not be coming back

Good communication with restaurant

Ordered take away, never received it. Called the restaurant no answer and messaged and still no reply. They still took my £35 though

I went to man ho last night and all I can say is the food service and atmosphere was amazing. Vanita our waitress was so sweet and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was so tasty too. I highly recommend this restaurant and I’m fussy about Chinese food!

I went here last night and the food was excellent really tasty. We had ribs, satay chicken, bang bang chicken and salt and pepper chicken it was all delicious. Their service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this restaurant. Will be going again.

I went on Saturday as part of a Christmas party, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement! There were 10 people at our table, for which we had paid a combined £400 for the food, and what we were served would barely feed three people. The vegetarian option consisted of two spring rolls and a couple of spoonfuls of egg fried rice, and the drinks were warm, shop-bought bottles of Coke poured into glasses at £3 each. This place used to be fantastic, with amazing service and food; however, it has really gone downhill. For the prices they are charging (£40 per person), it's a disgrace. I do not recommend it.

I've been going to Man Ho for years, and it has always been a fantastic night out with great value for money. However, my recent visit since it changed ownership was disappointing. The service was poor, and we spent £35 but received very little food for our large group. I could elaborate on how bad the experience was, but I’ll keep it brief. I just hope others see this and think twice before spending their money there. It’s definitely not the same place it used to be.

Have been going here for the last 20 years, great fun, 75 of us went last night, it was horrible, I was on a table of 10, we got one bit a chicken? One rib, and 2 spring rolls, half a duck roll each, main was 3 spoons of rice 3 bits of chicken, pudding was a 1 inch square of cheese cake, that was still frozen, and this took 4 hours to serve, in total we spent over 3k as a group, we had to go to McDonald’s on the way home we were starving, please no not waste your money here. Man ho you should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered Men Ho on Deliveroo. Was a decent price with a low delivery fee. The beef with green peppers in black bean sauce was very good. The special chow mein and peking ribs were alright, not amazing but not bad either, they slightly lacked flavour. I wouldn’t recommend the sweet and sour chicken balls, I’m not sure if it was just a bad batch but they didn’t taste very fresh, the chicken was tough and the batter was too thick and chewy. Overall a 6/10

Haven’t been inside but I’ve had the food from delivery and it’s really really really nice , I scoffed it down a treat , instantly wanted more

The soup was fine, the deep fried Hors D’oeuvres was cold, soggy and very greasy, we’ve been regulars at Man Ho for over 30 years and the quality has gone down while the cost has gone up,£5.50 for a bowl of soup is extortionate.

Nina our waitress and Michael the manager made great effort to give special treatment. Food and service was amazing and reasonable price. Will return again.

Good food top quality Chinese and had great service

I dont want to sound rude but service ws really good, but food was absolutely tasteless! Except crispy seaweed and prawn crackers. We ordered chicken fried rice, vermicelli vegetable noodles, chicken main dish, hot and sour soup. They really need to improve on the taste and quality of food.

Came here with my in laws, wife and kids(8ppl) for my wife’s birthday. They had put out some balloons and gave us birthday icream with fried fruits. Very nice! The food was tasteful and fresh. Good service and friendly staff.

Staff super friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was amazing. The only thing that put us off being an older couple was the music was a little loud and then having the videos streaming onto a large screen near us....it was a little off putting and we were unable to talk....I'm quite deaf so the music took over, otherwise putting that aside I would recommend this place, it's roomy, clean, efficient and the staff could not do enough

Food is exceptionally delicious. I’ve been a few occasions to Manho to celebrate a few parties including New Year’s party. Love the atmosphere, music, Food, drinks and lovely staff….prices are reasonable too.

This is my second time going to this lovely restaurant, normally I have my going out Chinese restaurants are in London but I found it very quality food and friendly customer service especially Kenny is a very polite man . 5 stars and I suggest everyone to come & try the most delicious food in this area.

Been out here for a dinner with my family, and I must say I was really impressed. Food was absolutely delicious, piping hot, and the portions are more generous than most restaurants. The restaurant is very clean, and the customer service is above excellent.

The food here is amazing! The waitress Vinidha was also excellent , her service was impeccable and she paid a lot of attention to detail. Her recommendations of the food was also very good- the beansprout noodles and the crispy mongolian lamb pancakes were excellent . Highly recommend this restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Man Ho restaurant in Luton with my family , and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place for a family dinner or a casual meal with friends. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, but the Sweet and Sour Chicken ,roasted duck and chicken Fried Rice were absolute standouts. Both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The portions were generous, ensuring great value for money. Overall,good customer service and good Chinese food if you want really tasty 😋 food. Chef also surprised my daughter with the special treat on her birthday 🎂.

The food here is 2nd to none. It is delicious! It is always fresh, perfectly cooked and soooo tasty. I love their new wines specially selected to accompany their dishes. My sister loved their cocktails too. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s the whole experience. They cater for your day or night out and the staff are friendly and kind making sure you enjoy all of it. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and Man Ho is always my first choice when it comes to eating out in Luton. If you want great Chinese food, great service and fabulous drinks and a friendly warm atmosphere I recommend Man Ho everytime.

The staff were very kind, I have come here 3 times and the owner still remembers the customer, very welcoming, the food was very nice and portions were also good, the lunch deal is also really priced well on Friday and Saturday, would highly recommend.

I often come to the Man Ho on their party nights as they have some really good singers. The set menu is brilliant value for money and the food is always hot and delicious, the staff especially Sarah and Vinny are amazing so polite and nothing is to much trouble. Michael the owner and his wife Jackie are the most welcoming and accommodating people ever they will bend over backwards so that your happy and having a lovely time and if your really lucky you will get to hear him sing (he really can) on the karoke worth going just for that 🥰 so thank you to all for making every visit so very memorable. If you haven't been to the Man Ho please do it really is the best Chinese Resturant around also if you have a special occasion please let them know and I know they will make it extra special 🥰🥰🥰

We came to celebrate our friends birthday. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Vinnie our waitress was so friendly and helpful. The food was hot and plenty to go round the 10 of us. The entertainment was brilliant with the Elvis impersonator. We all had a fantastic night. We will be back soon

Had a lovely meal tonight and we were a picky group consisting of two vegans, a veggie and a gluten free. They couldn’t have been more helpful! I’ve been coming here for over 37 years it’s still my favourite Chinese restaurant in Luton (perhaps anywhere!) Food was delicious and they are doing a really competitive deal on the A la carte menu so was very pleasantly surprised at the bill too!
