**Excellent Service and Delicious Food!** I’ve been a regular customer at this Chinese takeaway shop for a while now, and one of the main reasons is the outstanding service provided by the little boy behind the counter ,Every time I visit, they greet me with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. They are always professional, patient, and helpful, especially when it comes to recommending dishes or adjusting orders to my preferences. What really stands out is their attention to detail. I’ve recently moved to Bedford but still travel to the Oriental for our Friday night chinese. We went last week and the food was incredible! It was still very hot when i got home and the staff were happy to double bag my order to ensure it remained hot. The young man on the front desk was extremely helpful. He recommended some products to me which were beautiful. I have recommended to my neighbours too! I can’t wait to return. Thank you Oriental for our food and to your incredibly brilliant staff

Food is good and good value for a lunch time meal.

I walked in 4min before restaurant was open and some young boy rudely asked me to leave because the are open from 5. The door was open so you can assume you are welcome. This was my first try with this take away but I will never come back here and for sure not recommend to everyone.

It all started with my 40th birthday in my home in Montrose Avenue when l booked the food for my party beautifully presented and delivered for my 60 guests. I have never looked back and now at 73 l have had many many excellent meals cooked by the same family business. Their food is superb and they do not need to use Just Eat or Deliveroo because their menu is highly recommended by existing customers who are happy to pick up their food. When l was trying to lose weight Mia would cook my Chow Mein with less oil & gave tips on lesser calorie dishes. Most courteous. Good customer service Elizabeth Pressland

Happen to be passing through Luton and my wife was craving some Chinese. Got the chicken chow mein, beef chow mein and veg spring rolls. Asked it to be extra spicy and they definitely delivered. Food was clean and fresh. Tasted delicious and was a very good price. Would definitely go back if I'm in Luton again. 9/10 highly recommend

One of the best Chinese (food wise) in Luton just incompetent and rude staff on the counter. Must check order before leaving often something missing.

I used to go to this shop on a regular basis but today made a order the food was absolutely disgusting the chicken was supposed to be in gravy was just floating in water the chips was rock hard my sons chips in gravy was watery and black bits all over them very unhappy with the takeaway absolute rubbish not worth the money I paid if u want good Chinese go to bamboo garden instead bishopscote rd

Chicken and Lamb is halal, they do let you know if you ask. People seem to come in often.The people are lovely to us, my partner and I have been going for just over a year. The young ladies who are at the counter always are consistent and do make time for you. The chefs are wonderful cooks, who cater to my needs very well (allergies/ preference.) The price is well worth it, I happen to struggle financially as I am unable to work due to disability but I can still have a small treat thanks to The Oriental<333

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS, they are providing false information to their customers saying that their lamb and chicken is halal, where in fact their suppliers DO NOT supply them with halal food adding to the fact that they have no certificates to supply evidence that it is in fact halal. it’s absolutely disgusting that they are misleading Muslim or halal eaters and have no regard for Islamic requirements regarding halal food. IF YOU ARE MUSLIM OR EAT HALAL FOOD DO NOT EAT FOOD FROM HERE EVEN IF THEY SAY THEIR FOOD IS HALAL - ITS NOT.

My mum has been coming here for roughly 30years and we have had no complaints with any of our orders. (I'm 28) The owner is lovely and the staff are friendly. Food is plenty per item and is always cooked just right. Sauces don't go thick after cooling like other takeaways.

Best Chinese food in Luton, my favourite anyway. Good size servings, reasonably priced and just no nonsense takeaway service. Mini spring rolls are legendary. I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style with egg fried rice.

This used to be the best Chinese takeaway but now off my list. The vegetables are cheap chopped frozen supermarket veg and the same for their chips and over cooked. The veg spring rolls were near black they were so over cooked. Very disappointed in my last 2 experiences

Best Chinese in ends. Only the chicken and lamb is halal. Lady at the till is safe and I would recommend getting lamb in black bean sauce

The nicest Chinese I have had in years, the sweet and sour chicken is delicious! So is the chicken chow main and chicken in black bean.

Great food, well priced. Very welcoming. Additionally the young English girl that work ls on the counter is so well mannered, polite and efficient she is an absolute credit not only to the business but also her parents! Very cheap and affordable. Lovely staff here who are friendly. I always get either chicken/king prawn chow mein, vegetable mini spring rolls, curry sauce and sesame prawsn on toast. I always ask for extra hot with green chillies and a pot of chilli oil. Love it 🔥😍

Oriental is the best halal Chinese takeaway in luton! Their chicken chow mein is so tasty and you can ask them to make it spicy which is even better! You’ll often find it busy which means you have to wait but that’s understandable as it is a popular takeaway. It’s delicious, if only they delivered! Their staff are also very polite, excellent customer service. Best prices.

Definitely one of the better Chinese takeaways in Luton, worth driving the extra mile for. Now if we can just persuade them to make a proper Kung Pao and not the bizarre English version that has become far too prevalent in the UK. Try googling a recipe!

I had recommendations by friends to try The Oriental many times. So pleased I did. I have been to so many so called Chinese takeaways, most fill out dishes with onions but not here. The flavour and texture was superb. Definitely recommend. Good selection on the menu. Service was very good and pleasant staff. Only issue is not a lot of parking space outside. Will I return, most definitely.. Forgot to say about pricing. Extremely good at price. You should try and I believe you will have a great experience.

We ordered our food by telephone and picked it up 20 mins later. As usual, the food was wonderful. Well worth a visit. They do collection only, but these days when most people have cars that isn't a problem. They are also helpful if anyone has an allergy.

This was my first time here. The lady owner was so nice. Also, it has 5 star for food hygiene. I enjoyed the friend pork balls in sweet and sour dip plus the mushroom chow mien.

The service was brilliant.The portions were much bigger than expected (27 quid for set menu for 4 people) - four adults were unable to finish the whole meal and the food was delicious...The only gripe is the fact that it is just a takeaway so there are no tables to sit and eat in...Apart from that... Just wonderful. Thoroughly recommended!!!

Found this on Google close to where I was staying. On arrival presentation of premises looked nice and clean. Great menu and prices, even a choice for small or large containers. Chose Singapore fried rice and a portion of salt and pepper chicken wings. Took the food back to hotel and sat in front of tv. Well my rice dish was lovely, good portion with a nice amount of prawns, chicken and pork. My chicken wings were great too, finger licking good! Definitely one to try I am working in the area again this week so I will be returning lol

Been a regular at the Oriental for many years, love my Chinese and tried many different takeaways, the "Oriental" comes out on top by miles all of the time, my wife and kids think the same as well, and we all look forward to our regular takeaway from the Oriental every week.

El servicio era fantástico - cortés, rápida y amable. . . Pero la comida no estaba a la altura. En realidad me gustaría ir tan lejos para decir que fue el peor que he tenido china. No había nada perjudiciales se solo sabía mal. . . Pedí para llevar en base al precio. . . Pero ojalá hubiera pagado la extra de £5 y la comida que me gustó. Huevo frito arroz que teníamos. . Esto fue bien. . Chowmein verduras.. . También bien. . . pelotas de pollo dulce y amarga. . En otros. Más grasienta que comprada en todo el local, pero no demasiado bade. . Algas crujientes.. . Nada de malo, pero sabían que otros de menor calidad (China). Para llevar local . Y Verduras satay. . Este hecho fue la peor plato y (probablemente la razón) ¿por qué estoy escribiendo una revisión (normalmente no revisión takaways! ! ). . . No estoy seguro de que fue hecha con cacahuetes. . Quizás los cocos (legal! ). . Era un salsa dulce blanco delgado (otra vez que sabía de baja calidad) que no gusto como yo he llegado a conocer satay salsas como degustación. . Más bien azucarada tarta de pollo y salsa de hongos abundante. . . Muy mal. . . Probablemente no estoy explicando muy bien. . . Pero en general, la calidad de la comida era más baja que cualquier otro Chino que he tenido. . . No volveremos. . . Quédate con la casa de suerte creo. . .

Used to be a regular here, My family still are. Chinese is always at a high quality. When we phone in or walk in we give our name and she already know what we are having. Always happy and smiling and food is really nice.

Have been patronising The Oriental for 25 years - I would not be doing this if the food was anything other than good. Being no expert on chines cuisine, I cannot say if it's excellent - but I like it.

The owners have become personal friends over the years &amp; have even employed my daughter. The service is always spot on,as for the food it is Hot,Tasty &amp; YUMMY !!!! There is something for everyone from mild to hot depending on taste. I can recommend the Salt N Pepper Ribs if you want something spicy, Hong Kong Sweet N Sour Chicken (if you like sweet n sour) &amp; lastly The Oriental House Special (rice,meat,fish &amp; veg :- number 87) Ckicken Curry with extra Onions is another tasty dish with Singapore Noodles :- 17v if your a veggie. Well worth a visit.
