The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Norwich East of England

Second takeaway from win lee, first was bad but like to give places another chance, tonight wasn't good either. First visit asked for Singapore noodles and was told they didn't do vermicelli noodles so had the egg noodles which is basically what I got, very little of anything else. Tonight I had Kung Pao chicken (spicy) which was just strips of chicken in a generic, very runny sweet and sour sauce with absolutely no spice. It was exactly the same sauce served with sweet and sour chicken balls etc. Gave 2 stars because the special fried rice was ok and the service was friendly.

Fabulous food consistently and good portion sizes with loads of flavour. Can't fault them and always great service with polite staff

as someone that claimed to not like boba before this place, I come here all the time! I’ve convinced so many friends to try it with me and they all say they wanna come again- this place is GODLY! i love it!!!! <3

After trying nearly every Chinese takeaway on Deliveroo with disappointing results, we finally turned to TripAdvisor for recommendations – and we’re so glad we did! This is easily the best Chinese meal we’ve had in ages. Every dish was exceptional, full of flavour, and served in generous portions at a fair price. The ingredients tasted fresh, and each bite was exactly what we’d hoped for in a classic Chinese takeaway. To top it all off, the delivery was super quick! Although we were quoted an hour, our order arrived in just 30 minutes – an added bonus! This place is definitely our new go-to. Highly recommended! Fantastic all around.

Consistent and always super fast

The best Chinese I have ever gone to. Not your usual takeway standard food. Great flavour, good portion sizes and good to deal with. Authentic tasting food. Couldn't recommend enough!

I’ve just moved to Norwich and have been hunting for a good Chinese takeaway. I’ve tried 4 or 5 so far and last night tried Happy View on Ketts Hill. I am genuinely so happy I found it- everything we ordered was delicious! The food wasn’t greasy, it all tasted super fresh, the prawns and meat were very good quality, the vegetables were crunchy, the sauces were super flavourful and the portions were generous. Super happy all round and they now have one new regular customer!

Had a delivery this evening of Special Chow Mein, Spring Roll and half portion of Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls .. all cooked to perfection all very tasty and delivered hot ! Excellent food!!

Interesting experience, but not one I would repeat. Went for lunch with friends. I do like this style of food and I do eat all variations of meat. But...... I ordered the Vermicelli veg pot. Which arrived. The flavour was spicy which I expected and liked. But I ordered the veg pot!! Half way through eating I found clam shells and clams. Beef meat balls and what looked and tasted like slices of luncheon meat and also slices of tofu! I was expecting this dish to be vegetarian! Conclusion if you are vegetarian or have a seafood allergy please check and make sure they understand this!!

Thought I would try this one, the food has been excellent, everything tastes great. Always get meal for 1 or 2. There is ample, good price, delivery when they say. Try it, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Food was cold and made my whole family have food poision

China Garden is definitely number one, I have been coming to this Chinese takeaway for years and have never had a bad meal. All food is served piping hot, large portions and great value for money. Staff are lovely the trainee twins are great my favourite is the salt and pepper chicken, chicken balls ,chips rice and noodles are always great too!
