Win Lee in Norwich

Second takeaway from win lee, first was bad but like to give places another chance, tonight wasn't good either. First visit asked for Singapore noodles and was told they didn't do vermicelli noodles so had the egg noodles which is basically what I got, very little of anything else. Tonight I had Kung Pao chicken (spicy) which was just strips of chicken in a generic, very runny sweet and sour sauce with absolutely no spice. It was exactly the same sauce served with sweet and sour chicken balls etc. Gave 2 stars because the special fried rice was ok and the service was friendly.

We ordered takeaway from here when on holiday. Best to ring order through but was only a 25 minute wait. Food was tasty and big portions, hot still after 5 mile back to cottage we were staying in. Far too many prawn crackers in the free bag and a waste really. Would recommend Win Lee if staying in the area.

This was raved about by everyone on our Airbnb stay reviews so thought we had to give it a try. Whilst it was good, we have an excellent A++++++ chinese on our doorstep and it didn't quite hit the mark on that one, but is better than most. One thing we found was that the things marked as spicy weren't as spicy as we'd normally expect. Some of the things that were deep fried I found a little too done, e.g Prawn toasts could have done with 30 seconds less maybe. Not greasy and didn't leave me with that empty chinese feeling a few hours later, left overs kept well etc!

One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve had in a long time. Ordered several dishes to feed six adults. All very tasty, but highlights were sesame prawn toast, pork with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts, chicken with ginger and spring onion, and honey & lemon chicken which came with a pour-over honey & lemon sauce. A real cut above most Chinese take aways - and we’re picky!

Our first takeaway today… an amazing eleven dish selection for seven of us as a birthday treat. Wow, such gorgeous fresh ingredients, delicious sauces (light and not gloopy), and tender succulent meats. Generous portions with perfectly cooked chunky tasty veg. Thank you for a fabulously indulgent meal which made our day.

Food is generally good. Booking system can be really poor. Phoned order at 3.45pm for collection at 7pm. Arrived at 7pm and food was ready for 7.35pm. Man in front had been waiting for 1 hr plus…

I find chinese takeaway staff a bit surly but the young man was very nice. The food was also very nice - nothing outstanding but at least not greasy and swimming with peas and onions to bulk the meal out!

My local Chinese , brilliant customer service and I believe they do the best special curry around, brilliant flavour and they listen when you ask for it really spicy, love this place would really recommend it.

Have had a takeaway for some time and this was just as I remember it. Everything just right and we had a relaxing evening and best of all I did not have to cook.

Con respecto a ganar a Lee, debo decir que la comida es muy buena, siempre hace calor y sabe muy bien. Mi única queja es que al hacer el pedido por teléfono le dicen un horario fijo, por ejemplo, su comida está lista en 19. 30 y puede sentarse allí un exra 30 minutos después de su tiempo de recolección asignado. Used the Win Lee for years but in the last few months the quality of the food has suffered badly and, quite frankly a, a new chef is needed if the crowded waiting area of past times is to return, Now you get served quickly, but the poor quality food has obviously deterred customers and we have no desire to go back until its sorted.

Casi siempre objeto de ganar Lee por chino para llevar. La comida siempre es muy sabroso y el servicio es muy rápido - nuestro fin último estaba lista en 20 minutos y era una orden para 6 personas! Es una pena que no te entrega pero sin duda no nos disuadió. Sin duda lo recomiendo!

Cada vez que visite este restaurante de comida para llevar, la comida nunca está listo cuando dicen que será. Estaba listo una hora después nos dijeron que sería hace unas pocas semanas y última noche me llamó mi pedido a través y le pregunté si podía recogerla a las 7 pm. Me preguntaron si me podía 7,15 - que estaba bien. Finalmente llegué a casi 8 pm! Le he pedido antes por qué no dan tiempos realistas y me dijeron que ellos no tienen ningún pedidos si lo hicieron! Sin duda volveremos en otro lugar para la mía en el futuro.

Absolutely delicious and great value. My regular ChineseTakeaway albeit not the closest to my home ... but definitely worth going the extra distance.
