Your local chicken shop but better, popcorn chicken is juicy n delicious, deffo get the chilli n garlic. The milk tea is so good here too, creamy but still gd flavour. Love the taro here <3

The fried chicken breast was good. We got the chicken wings as well, but it tasted horrible. I don't know what happened to it, but the chicken just tasted funny.

Seriously amazing, juicy, and flavourful chicken! This is easily some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten!! Cooked to perfection and with a choice of up to four toppings, super highly recommended!

This is a chain that does Taiwanese fried chicken. The London restaurant is really popular among Chinese/Chinese-speaking people, so much so that you'll always see queues outside it! So I feel really lucky to have it here in Norwich. I highly recommend the popcorn chicken, fried chicken thighs or breast, and fried garlic gizzards (for those who like that stuff). Add chilli, garlic and cheese seasoning! The weaknesses here are... 1) value for money - portions for the chicken are a bit small for the price. So I was still hungry despite paying £10 for chicken and bubble tea 2) the bubble teas. At this point, I would only recommend the brown sugar milk or the matcha milk. The milk teas and taro milk always seemed to be a bit diluted/bland.

Best spot in Norwich for some bubble tea and fried tofu and chicken. Add salt+pepper!!

Nice juicy Taiwanese style fried chicken breast,with different flavours,which taste exactly same as the one I got in Hong Kong and Taiwan . All the food is made after ordering. 即叫即炸，肉嫩多汁。 諾域治天下第一炸雞

One of my favourite spots whenever I miss Asian crispy food. My favourite ones are chicken skin , octopus and gizzard 😋. High calorie but cannot stop to have once a month to refresh my palate and mind . Price is reasonable as well.

Honestly my new favourite place for a meal food to price ratios are 3:1 amazing. Try the chicken stripes 🥵🥵 thank me late. We didn't even leave a chip

I've been ordering from here for a year now, the staff are very friendly and the chicken is to die for. The plum seasoning is really good, so much so I always ask if I can have extra on it!

Been coming here regularly for quite some time now, the food is delicious and always freshly cooked and piping hot. The bubble tea is one of the best I've had, for a change I sometimes have the taro milk tea. Would highly recommend them

I visited the wood green branch a week ago and was in a rush so I paid £10.50 for my meal and jumped on the bus to go home. The chicken was disgusting....I do not believe it is halal. Halal chicken has no blood this did. It also tasted of plastic ? I have been trying to contact via e mail and telephone no response. In shop I was put onto a manager who was not willing to give me a refund..... Instead a man was called into the restaurant to talk to me personally and was even ruder and offered a replacement meal I said no and left. Please be warned the food is not halal l!!!!!!

My fault, I walked in and ordered after all. I should have noticed there was no food actually visible. I ordered a 'speciality' chicken breast and chips. Something went on behind the scenes and then a grubby looking tray came out with a dry breaded chicken breast and about 25 overcooked oven chips. It cost £8.00. I promised myself I wouldn't write negative reviews as it can have a real impact on the success of a business but when that business just isn't trying and still expects to be paid a premium price (in quick take away terms) then it needs calling out. Walk on by. Norwich is a great city with many other excellent choices.

Absolutely not advisable. They brought the tea cup without a bloody straw, the thing tasted like nothing, not say like p*ss. Saying bad would be an understatement. Sorry for the strong words, but it is what it is. If I could put negative stars, I would withdraw 10.

Quiet and understated but by god is the food amazing, you could choose anything from here and have yourself a good ol time. If you like Chicken you gotta go to Ji (p.s. the plumb seasoning on the chicken is the one, trust)

All the restaurants in central Norwich were full on a Tuesday evening because of the Eat Out to Help Out campaign. A bit difficult for those of us who were travelling to book a table in advance since we didn't know what we were doing or where we would be. Having been turned away from 6 different venues, we got fed up and decided to give this place a go, as it was pretty empty. We were greeted by a smiley and energetic assistant, who was pleased to see us. The place is a hybrid of fried chicken joint and a Chinese takeaway. I could read in Chines that they served Taiwanese Chicken "Steak". I was intrigued as I didn't remember eating that on my visits to Taipei. So w ordered that and a chicken curry with rice plus a beef curry with rice. I am rather fond of bubble tea and so ordered one with yam. My husband ordered a juice with the tapioca pearls. The drinks turned out to be the best thing on offer. The yam tea reminds me of the Far East and had the right balance of tea with yam and lots of tapioca pearls. The Taiwanese Chicken Steak was basically a deep fired breaded chicken breast escalope. I was a little greasy but tasty enough. The curries were made from the kind of Chinese curry sauce I can buy in Chinese supermarket. The "chicken" and the "beef" in the curry were vile!! They must have used a ton of soda to tenderise the meat, so that it has lost all texture and taste. We left most of the meat and fished out the bits of vegetables and onions and ate them with the rice. So, don't order the curry and stick with the chicken. You will have a slightly more pleasant experience.

This restaurant is amazing - the bubble tea is better (and cheaper!) than Chatime and Moya, the chicken is tender and the batter is light and tasty. Have been here many times and have never been disappointed! If you want a good authentic Taiwanese lunch, come here

Horrific quality delivery. Everything Cold. Uncooked batter. Small portions. Bad bad bad... and not cheap!

My friend and I came across Ji’s on Deliveroo where it had an excellent rating (4.6/5). We ordered two meal boxes (seasoned chicken + chips + drink), each box cost £10. What we received was nothing less but delicious so when we were in central Norwich the next week, we decided to pop by the ‘real deal’. There are, in my opinion, two negatives: 1/ when you eat in, your chicken & chips are served on kitchen roll in a plastic tray. This ensures the grease seeps into the kitchen roll and not your body, but it is a bit weird eating off kitchen roll. 2/ the Deliveroo prices are ludicrously inflated - a popcorn chicken meal box costs £6 in the shop itself and £10 on Deliveroo. The rest of the chicken meal boxes are £7.5 - but still £10 on Deliveroo. The positives? The chicken is delicious. Taiwanese fried chicken is an art on its own. Their seasoning options are plentiful and excellent as well. Chips are crispy, drinks are ice cold. If you choose to eat in, prepare to get an Asian hang out vibe (really cool, very friendly). For those wondering, all the chicken is halal. Certificate hangs on the wall.

Some of the best chicken I have ever had. Great atmosphere for a chat with friends. I had rather simple chicken breast with some salt and pepper still want more! I would recommend to my friends, it was great!

and disappointment. Was expecting more but unappetising food was only on offer. It is full of Asian people so can only assume bland food is what they are used to??

And evidently I haven't got it. Their signature volcanic cheese sandwich looks as unappetising as it tasted. Straight back to KFC instead
