Amazing food! Amazing staff! We travel 15mins to get our Chinese from here! It’s definitely worth the drive! Food is still piping hot when we get it home! Food has so much flavour unlike some closer to home! Keep up the good work and reputation

Food is good, have been using for a number of years and never had a bad meal, it's just not my first choice but is in my top 6.

Absolutely horrible. Rude and refused to help because I have an egg intolerance! Apparently boiled rice and curry sauce have egg in! More like they can’t be bothered to be helpful!

I have been using China Garden on and off for a good 10-15 years. This is a very consistent all round Chinese take away. I've never had a bad meal from here to be honest and they do the standard 'bread and butter' basics very well. I really like the fact they use aluminium tins to serve food rather than plastic containers too. Keep up the high standards guys it doesn't go unnoticed 👍

Good Chinese food as always. Staff happy to accommodate and change a few things within the set meals. Happy and tasty.

Tasteless bbq sauce spare ribs were just bones, no taste at all poor quality food, very dissapointed, will never go there again

Slightly smaller portions than we are used to.

Singapore chow mein, king prawn curry and fried rice, Chicken chow mein, chips, these are the dishes i ordered on my first visit here, and all were excellent, full of flavour, plentiful, cooked to perfection, i will be going again soon, no doubt about that.

This in my opinion is the best Chinese takeaway in Norwich. The food is always cooked to perfection. Can't fault it in anyway. Best to order over the phone as it can get very busy.

Sweet and sour sauce tastes disgusting, chips are not very nice, only good thing about this place was the polite and friendly receptionist. I'd rather eat a 99p value ready meal 🤮.

Excellent choice of food, tasty and of good quality. Portions are really big for the price. It seems as it os one of the most loved Chinese food places for students.

Food is ok, but I can’t believe it’s cash only?! I had to go back and pay in cash. East takeaway was shut (by far my first choice) and was really disappointed to have to back home to get some money to pay.

Absolutely the worst food we've ever had and we've been getting food from here for years......we will never order from china garden again....which is good news for East chinese takeaway who are 5mins further up colman road....When we first started coming they had homemade thick chips and the food was made in house....now its bagged and fried to save time and effort....i doubt anything is prepared on site.....It's a shame that they have forgotten that quality means a lot for long term customers like us...!

Always good. Used to drive miles for a good Chinese takeaway until I discovered this unassuming shop on my doorstep. Best sweet & sour chicken and chicken chow mein anywhere I've tried. Never go anywhere else now.

Friendly, good food to take away

Have bought from this takeaway for years and nowhere else can make szechaun ribs like them. They are spicy, cooked to perfection and the rest of the dishes are just as good

Second time I've been to this takeaway and the food is amazing! I usually find Chinese takeaway really heavy but this was light, and wasn't saturated in oil like most others! Thank you China Garden!!

Always fresh and tasty never had a bad meal in several years

This takeaway changed hands several years ago and I used to love it. I am back living in Norwich for a year and thought I would go back. This is by far the worst food (6 people eating) that I have ever had. I am trying to find one redeeming feature of the food we bought but I can't find one. The chips were soggy, the gravy had a consistency like the jelly you get on an under-cooked egg, the beef wasn't crispy, the curry was a bland flavourless cream. I have had good and bad Chinese takeaway food but this is by far the worst.
