Great Wall Chinese Takeaway in Norwich

Fabulous food consistently and good portion sizes with loads of flavour. Can't fault them and always great service with polite staff

Didnt even realise it was a Veggie chinese but the quality of the dishes is lovely would eat here again.

Muy buena comida china, obviamente no es carne de verdad, pero sabe igual de bien. Sin duda volveremos a pedir desde aquí y tienen un personal tan amable.

He comido desde aquí varias veces y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. La señora que trabaja aquí es una de las personas más amigables que he conocido y claramente se preocupa por sus clientes y su comida. He sido vegetariano durante algunos años, pero incluso mis amigos que comen carne han dicho cuán realistas son algunos de los platos de carne simulada. La comida está más recién preparada que muchos otros restaurantes chinos para llevar o restaurantes en los que he estado. Originalmente pensé que era una lástima que no ofrecieran un servicio de entrega, sin embargo, me siento un poco menos culpable al caminar para recoger mi comida china para llevar y siempre es agradable ver una cara sonriente. Lo único que diría es que si está ordenando varios platos, es mejor pedir comida en persona que por teléfono. Una joya escondida en Norwich, ¡muy recomendable!

This is the first time I’ve not been able to identify what I was eating, rice came as a block, no idea what the chicken balls were, as it wasn’t chicken! Special fried rice contained what looked like a handful of frozen mixed veg, and the meat in the house curry looked and had the consistency of spam. Simply awful!

. . . . pero lo hizo. No soy un fanático de la carne de todos modos, pero me gustan mis gambas, pero decidí probarlo ya que he escuchado buenos informes. Fue absolutamente delicioso: vegetales cocinados a la perfección y no empapados como en algunos restaurantes chinos. Y estaba maravillosamente caliente, de nuevo a veces tengo que recalentar la comida haciendo que el sabor se apague.

We buy from here often, very friendly service, delicious food with authentic meat substitutes without compensating on authenticity or flavour. The only downside is its cash only but if you prepare (which we often forget) it's not an issue.

The Great Wall is an all veggie Chinese Takeaway with a wide selection of veggie and vegan dishes. It is well priced and is run by a wonderful woman who goes out of her way to help. The food is delicious and for vegetarians it is great to have such a wide choice of dishes. It is in the back streets of Norwich but is worth searching out. They don't deliver and it is cash only if not booked online through Just Eat. They a variety of tofu to supplement to dishes and it is the best Chinese Takeaway for Vegetarians and Vegans this said of the Great Wall. Enjoy.
