Kam Hon Chinese Take Away in Norwich

Top service, kind people and great value. My cat Mr Jiggles sometimes talks mandarin at snack time, and I now believe think he is plotting his escape for the NR7 area Would definitely recommend. Five stars.

We have been coming here regularly for probably over 20 years and apart from a couple of times when missed out a small item which was quickly rectified over the phone, the service, food, everything is always first class, we always go in to order and phone is constantly ringing for orders which is 6positive sign, takes about 30 minutes to get there but worth the travelling time even though there's other chinese takeaways closer not a patch on these, generous portions and cheaper and always tastes good

Really delicious food and good value for money. The sweet and sour chicken balls are magnificent. Late night opening has also been really convenient. Would definitely recommend.

Best chinese in Norwich, we never use anywhere else. Staff polite and delivery waiting times aren't bad at all. Food is as expected, very enjoyable and tasty.

Singapore Chow Mein, edible while walking in the dark , had a reasonable flavour other than an element of a greasy tinge to it

Dear God it was awful. It was greasy, tasteless yet rank tasting. I can't articulate how bad it was. I asked for special fried rice and got noodles just to top it off, which would be fine if it was good. The curry and rice was gross, the spring roll poured grease. It was a Saturday night so should be the best night, no heated up food etc. I would rather eat the dogs food.

5 stars every visit , it's about 12 miles to get there from home, there's 8 other Chinese takeaways nearer but much prefer kamhon , good portions always hot and always very tasty worth going there

rubbish customer service ordered Xmas eve was told 2 hour wait which is fine and a phone call after to find out how long they said another 45 mins which was too late, tge woman on the phone was rude af and didn't let me get a word in no apology even though she repeatedly said I apologise 4 times and I heard no apology i appreciated its Xmas eve but when we ate cheese toasties and realy wanted Chinese just be HONEST about delivering, also never using again!

Hands down the best Chinese in Norwich - we never go anywhere else. Food is always delicious. Delivery staff and over the phone are always friendly. Thank you 😊

Rang this place up after no answer from our usual chinese takeaway, glad we did! We had to wait a while but wow, everything tasted great, chicken balls were fresh and not too chewy, crispy beef was superb, chicken chow mein just great. hats off to the chefs working their tonight (6th march) this is our chinese to go too now

Can’t beat this place the food is delicious I just can’t fault the place, customer service is great delivery is exactly as they tell you when you order, thank you so much from an NHS Clinical Support Worker isolating. From me and hayley x

We had Chinese again last night and I’m so glad to have this place back open. Great food as always and ready right on time.

Gross! 1. Egg fried rice, had bitter taste and smelled like been used grease from around the hob whitch was build up in years instead of oil. 2. Beef with bamboo shots and garlic souce! Oh my goodness, the beef stink as spoiled meat so strong! That is insane! how it can be still served???!! All house sticks so much! 3. Chicken with green peper with black bean souce. The souce is definitely not a black bean one. Meat was chopped largely, but the worst thing is that the dish had stink of previous made dish with had smoke or "bbq" flavor. Pepers had the taste of gas fire smoke. It feels like the food were prepared in very rush without cleaning properly pans between different dished. And ingredients have no inspection before cook or just ignored. 4. Chow main: similar to Chow main, but... Very strange souce have been used, and have a smell as not clean wok pan was used. like old wet dirty kitchen cloth smells. 5. Chicken balls was 50/50, the gravy was ok. Overal: I ate chicken balls, tried some chicken in been souce and some chow main. My partner ate a bit more of chow main. The rest wasn't datable! We both feel sick now and I'm having stomach acid burn (that was long time forgotten). Horrible! Speechless!

We have used Kam Hon several times over the past few years & the food has always been really good. We always order by phone & then collect & have never had a problem. With have tried other local Chinese take away's, but this is the only one we use now.

Phoned up to order and was ready to collect in 15 minutes so was easy to collect with social distancing in place and then home with the food which is what everyone wants to know well it was superb glad to get some normality back in our lives and have a take away after 3 months without one. Well done all at Kam Hon it was lovely so no changes there so will see you again very soon

Great Chinese once again, however they did get my order wrong, out of £50 we had one wrong dish, very annoying but it was still nice. When having Chinese I always use these.

Curry sauce had an overwhelming taste of aniseed. Fried rice was sodden in soy sauce. Just not what I was looking forward to.

Acabamos de recibir nuestro segundo pedido después de que nos pidieran que les diera el beneficio de la duda y que volvieran a intentarlo después de la primera vez que nos enviaron comida quemada de mala calidad y la arrojamos a la papelera. Pero la segunda vez, absolutamente basura, de nuevo sin sabor aguacate. Cargado 4 más que el menú también indica que el arroz era comestible esta vez después de remojarlo en salsa bbq, pero el resto fue a la papelera. Tampoco conseguí lo que se indica en el menú tampoco. muy, muy decepcionado

Soy un cliente habitual de 10 años y, en mi opinión, son los mejores. El personal es amable y dispuesto a adaptarse a nuestros pedidos. Su comida, especialmente sus salsas son encantadoras. Hemos pedido la entrega un par de veces, a veces se tarda un poco, pero vale la pena y teniendo en cuenta que este lugar se llena (especialmente durante el fin de semana), pero la comida para llevar y el personal parece que hacen todo lo posible.¡Yo recomendaria!

We always use this Chinese takeaway nowhere else compares! The lady on the phone is firm but fair and the food is always delicious. Highly recommend.

Folleto se cayó a través de la puerta y pensé que me trataría a mí mismo como no he tenido chino por un tiempo como siempre decepcionado tan atrapado con indios y tailandeses. Fue muy sabroso, llegó a tiempo y estaba caliente. Pedí algunos ajustes - i. mi. haciéndolo más caliente y más ajo. Definitivamente voy a intentar esto de nuevo.

Esta es mi comida para llevar China local. Utiliza al menos una vez al mes y nunca he tenido un problema. La señora inglesa es siempre muy educado cuando llamamos y ordenar. El tiempo de entrega es generalmente de 45 minutos a una hora, pero a veces viene en 30 minutos. Los conductores de entrega siempre es agradable y la comida siempre caliente y sabe muy bien.

This was our first order & other than some rather average Prawn Toast everything else was truly lovely & excellent value for money. We will certainly use again.

Gran china para llevar especialmente para las salsas. Aunque tengo que decir que ahora hay algunos contendientes que han salido de mi una vez más alto. Las verduras no es tan variada o fresco como algunos otros. Ofertas de lunes a miércoles son geniales. Siempre hay que dejar un montón de tiempo como este es muy popular!

Me encanta toda la comida es tan deliciosa y la relación calidad-precio es buena lo recomiendo encarecidamente el curry especial, pollo pelotas y el pollo limón,y los rollitos de primavera.El personal es amable y atento.
