The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Ipswich East of England

Ordered on Just Eat, Waited over a hour for our order online to be told its been cancelled, phoned up to ask why to get met with some guy talking absolute nonsense having a pop at us for using a service they advertise on?...

Couldn't fault it, quick and efficient

Food delivered hot, but damaged. Called restaurant 1 minute after delivery and was told this is impossible. Asked for a mobile number so I could send a photo and was told they don't have mobile number. Food soaked in sauces. Driver should drive a little bit slower I believe.

Seaweed was awful, like a child made it. Fried greens covered in white sugar, 0 out of 10. Beef in blackbean sauce dry as dust, beef good quality but no sauce 5/10. Crispy belly pork, crispy beef and fried rice 10/10. Seaweed was a joke!

I’ve ordered from this restaurant for years and never had any issues or complaints until the change of management. They delivered us the wrong dish and when I called to let them know they lady I spoke to first blamed myself for this the way I was spoken to by staff was absolutely disgusting the lady on the phone screamed and shouted at me and then eventually hung up. I will never order from here again. Customer service is ridiculous.

Sweet and sour sauce tastes like banana! Why? 🤢

The bill was £66 and no way was worth even £10 the chicken balls & prawn balls were uneatable, tasted off. And all the chow mains tasted off to. The only things that were eatable was a pancake roll & the chips. Will never ever order from here again. Had high hopes for this meal but sadly disappointed & out of pocket on food not eatable.

I waited over 2 HOURS for the worst chinese I've ever experienced, couldn't even finish it. Over 2 hour wait is already a bad start, and then the food arrived COLD, soggy & sad. Beef in black bean sauce was poor, the sauce tasted more like generic curry sauce and the beef was overcooked, chewy and tiny. The chilli Squid was soggy, moist, cold and clearly frozen rubbish. Criminal offense to charge the prices you do for this trash. The chips were cold and pathetic, undercooked and sad. Overall, 1st time ordering and will be the last. Pathetic Chinese takeaway.

Have used Mandarin on many occasions and always found the staff to be polite and friendly. The food is good, with decent sized portions. I have never had a complaint about the food I’ve ordered, it’s our local Chinese takeout and will use often.

Just had a very nice chicken curry with egg fried rice and crabmeat and sweetcorn soup this was the best I have had from anywhere in a long time I would highly recommend a takeaway from here
