I had a delivery tonight. It tasted very good,great portions,great texture fried chips and a tonne of food for just over £20 for two nights of delight really. I had the orange chicken for the first time today and could only say it was missing royal dark soy possibly it wasn't horrible. I will use this one as the local takeaway if I ate it often enough to do so. I don't agree with the ratings here I think some customers are confused by the cooking style and the end dish sort of thing. No need to ruin something so lovely yes. I would recommend rice dishes and chicken balls . Other thing like the seaweed is nice and the white rice is clean and fresh tasting . I sure hope I get a discount soon I sometimes walk there too.

If I could give no stars I would .had a set meal for 1 person tasteless and to make it a real concern ,a male came in ,went straight into kitchen and started cooking noodles. NO WASHING HANDS BEFORE HAND. I recommend people avoid this place.i will be reporting this to the environment officer and trading standards

This is by far the best Chinese in Ipswich (personal opinion). They have great tasting food and good value for the price paid.

Food was delicious, except maybe for the Singapore noodles, but when I added soy sauce to it at home it became better and more flavorful. Every other thing was absolutely delicious. 10/10

I use peking express a lot Pancake roll nice but not the size or meat content it was .. wonton soup disappointing nearly all pasta next to no fillings .. sweet sour chicken very good ..yellow bean chicken poor sauce like water no real taste

awful said they was open so we drove 20 minutes and then got into the open shop and they said they was closed

First time ordering from Peking Express. Arrived very quickly. Great tasting food, not greasy at all and hot on arrival. Very impressed and will definitely order from here again

Ordered at 18:11, at which point it was 35 to 50 minutes to deliver. The food finally arrived at 19:35… however, it arrived half cold, which spoilt our meal. Restaurant did not respond to our calls.

The noodles tasted like they had a fire in the pan, the pancake roll similar. Not a nice woody taste, more like a house fire, burnt plastics....

food was excellent, generous portions and excellent service, will most definitely use again.

This food was absolutely the worst I've ever tasted infact there was no taste really in the chicken chow mein or rice and the shredded beef was vile and far too strong a sauce never again will I order here!

Order was very late, food was cold, noodles were watery and had no flavour. Very disappointing.

The food was poor quality, the chilli beef was dry and the salt and pepper chicken was tasteless, we didn’t even finish what was on our plates. We won’t be ordering again.

Fairly nice hot food. Restaurant adhered to a food intolerance request which was really helpful. Chow mein was a bit burnt and greasy though so not a great after taste. Fast delivery.

Everything was greasy and cold, only thing that was edible was the chicken in bbq sauce.

10/10 chicken and sweetcorn soup! 4 decent sized chicken satay on sticks, with a generous amount of thick satay sauce, which has a little kick to it. Tasty sweet and sour chicken balls. Chips ok. Large bag of tasty prawn crackers, which were complimentary. Thank you

We arranged for it to be collected at 19:50 and I got a text ten minutes before saying it’s ready to collect. So it’s been sitting for ten minutes. When collecting I see in the kitchen that all of the chicken, beef, pork and prawns were on the counter top, uncovered and not refrigerated. When we got home the food tasted awful. Too much salt and everything was funny tasting. We eat a lot of Chinese and this was an awful experience! Will not use again. We have had to find something else to eat as it was so unenjoyable.

Thought I would try somewhere other then my usual.. Wish I didn't chow me in was burnt how can you burn noodles.. Omelette was disgusting chips looked like they were fried 5 times and sweet sour sauce was just a jellied mess all went in the bin and ordered from some where else lesson learnt will not be back

Order was over 30 mins late and alongside that food was cold as I reckon this was cooked for a good 45-50 mins beofre it reached us! Poor

Arrived before requested time, but delivery instructions not followed. Some food fresh and lovely and hot. However couple of dishes quite cold! Overall relatively happy with order and service.

Most of the food was nice but the chowmein was inedible ...very slinky..however chicken balls both types of rice and the curry and curry sauce were nice ..I'd reorder again without the chowmein but only if my normal Chinese isn't open .

I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews. This is my local Chinese and I order here 1-2 times a month and I’ve never had any issues with the food. All my orders have been correct, hot and really tasty. They also have the lowest prices in Ipswich. The only issue I have ever had with this place is that it is closed on Mondays (I think) but still shows up as open on ubereats. This means you can still place orders when they are closed, but you’ll never get your food and getting a refund takes a while as ubereats aren’t the most cooperative. I always make sure to check on google to see if they are actually open before I place any orders now. Problem solved! Overall, I really recommend this place if you want a tasty and affordable meal.

My boyfriend ordered a pork dish and got beef. Egg foo yung was bright yellow and tasteless. Chow mein was horrid. Unimpressed and won't be visiting again.

Singapore noodles were very good, quite spicy. Cashew nut chicken had a good amount of nuts and veggies. The pancake roll and sweet and sour balls were quite oily.

Unfortunately my chips, egg fried rice AND chicken chow mein were burnt so much that I was unable to eat it. This has never happened before and I regularly order from here and it’s usually delicious. Just very disappointing as you could clearly see and smell that several items from my order were burnt and should not have left the kitchen.

I have to say I was nervous about the food once I read the reviews (which I didn’t do beforehand for some unknown reason!) although I needn’t have worried. The food arrived 5 minutes early, super hot and fresh. It’s all very tender meat and clearly fresh, they even accommodated my request for extra hoisin sauce. The curry sauce could have more flavour but it was thick unlike some reviews I’ve read had said. The chicken skewers and ribs look quite dry from the photos however they weren’t at all. Portions very generous other than the hors d’oeuvres however this being one of the cheaper Chinese takeaways I really can’t complain! Oh and an edit just to say it’s all cooked perfectly, nothing burnt or undercooked as I’d read on other reviews!

Ordered mushroom curry & egg fried rice. Rice burnt and dry and mushrooms uncooked! If they can't do something as simple as this I'd dread to order anything else Oh and the crackers were stale and minging

I’ve used this place a few times, and the food is great. However their website is awful, so many times it glitches and takes payment for the order which is then lost. Don’t use their website!

Usually the prawns in tomato I buy from other places is kind of bland, but this one was actually somewhat tasty.

Restaurant cancelled order AN HOUR after I ordered and only after I called to chase up delivery to say they're too busy. Cancel at point of order! It was then too late for me to find an alternative.

Bbq ribs very nice, Chinese chicken expected to be bbq not gravy Need to change to Chinese chips not French fries.

Fantastic , i very rarely do food delivery feedbacks , as it's usually down to individual tastes, but ,got to say , this was superb, the veg was fresh , crisp and stir fried to perfection, Cant critisice it whatsoever, Many many thanks , tonight's delivery choice has guaranteed what Chinese takeaway i'll be having next time . Also i don't like water chestnuts , so I said so in the msg box provided, and as asked not a single chestnut in any of the dishes, can't ask for any morethan that , Hot , way on time ( 15 / 30 mins max early delivery ) every dish spot on, sweet n soar chicken balls are not easy to deliver , crispy, not too greasy , plenty of chicken , no complaints, from me . Again fab takeaway. xx

Ready satisfied customer. Have very poor mobility so unable to go to the door this was not a problem as the delivery driver came to the door undid it on my request and handed my food which was still hot and very tasty so wouldn't hesitate to order from there again. 5* service

Delivery was early but that’s where the positives end. Food was terrible and I’m being polite here, if I wasn’t layed up with a bad back I would’ve gathered all the food up and taken it back myself for a full refund. Awful stuff.
