The food from here was excellent. Particularly the round container of two mains plus rice or noodles for under a tenner. Perfect portion size too. We were staying at the neighbouring Hopton Holiday Village which was very nearby but the option for delivery for £1.50 was too tempting. We ordered meals by phone for our party of 12 a couple of hours in advance. The food arrived smack on time, all the dishes were correct, and they were all delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

Atrocious service. Placed order by phone. Went to collect was told almost ready. Waited 20 minutes still no order. Asked again advised just coming. 15 minutes and still waiting. Asked again about order same advice. I along with many others in the same situation walked out. Never go there again.

Ordered chicken balls, special curry, egg fried rice, chilli chips nd chew mein. The chicken balls consisted of a chicken breast cut up into thin slices and deep fried. wouldn't say these were the best. Very doughy. Special curry is filled out with ALOT of onions and carrots, but still very tasty. Chew mein had a handful of noodles at best. This was the most disappointing and we bought a large! Egg fried rice was ok. Overall, reasonable food, smaller side portions (small metal take away boxes for reference) and a tad too expensive for us. I'd recommend going if you can afford it and don't mind a smaller portion. Holiday makers are the captive audience I suppose.

We moved to the area last year and still haven’t found a Chinese takeaway that we all love. Tonight, We wanted to try out a new one. We chose wing li - and WHAT A MISTAKE! We ordered £47 worth of food for the family, which included sweet and sour chicken balls, two lots of chicken fried rice, satay chicken, chips, egg fried rice, bbq sauce, and a pancake roll. The satay chicken was just a bunch of chicken in a sweet and sour like sauce with lots of veg and little bits of peanut - only had hints of a real satay chicken. The chips were like fries, not proper Chinese chips, while the sweet and sour sauce itself looked curdled with little bits (not sure what they are) floating around in it. The “egg” fried rice tasted like just boiled rice fried for a couple of seconds. The quotation marks on the egg in the previous sentence was because the egg fried rice didn’t have any egg in it. The pancake roll was mushy as well as very very salty. And finally the bbq sauce was like a thick balsamic vinaigrette dressing. Nothing like bbq sauce whatsoever. To us, it was an absolute waste of almost £50 and I would not recommend whatsoever. I ended up giving the dog the egg fried rice and even he didn’t eat it - so that’s really saying something! However, if you do order from here, I hope your food was better than ours, or you’ll be going really hungry! Ps: the pic is of the sweet and sour sauce 🤮

Nice food had the set menu for £19. The waiter let me swap options I didn't like for an alternative. I have been coming here for 23 years where it used to be all you could eat, however, I think the owners would have been better putting up the all you can eat price or adding supplements for more expensive items eg. duck. The reason is that it seems a lot quieter than it used to be and am worried their business may suffer as locals will not like this change. Love Red Leaf, great food & service

Decent chinese, not the worst, but by far not the best. Food ordered online, pricey at that, compared to other local resturants. Then you place the order, and food hasnt arrived within an hour. Phone call to the resturant, and they are polite, but surprise, the food is now on the way. Food arrives and is decent, but the wait time is not the best.

Having had some really good experiences with Chinese Buffet, we thought we'd give this one a try but quickly regretted it. There was very little choice in dishes, the food that was there looked and tasted like it had been sitting around for too long. There was one choice in desserts which was a bit of stale swiss role and the drinks were insanely priced. The place felt grubby and unloved. One of the kitchen staff wasn't very pleasant to us when I asked her if she could top up the food but she's probably used to people complaining. The young waitress appeared embarrassed, not surprisingly... I really did feel sorry for her. We would never recommend this place. They shouldn't' be running this business.
