The best restaurants in Great Yarmouth East of England

i stopped here with my friend for somethink to eat and a cup of tea with our 2 dogs we sat out side in the afternoon sun and enjoyed a great cup of tea and some super food we were made very welcome and enjoyed a rest and chat with the lady that served us would recommend to anyone visiting great yarmouth

Went in on a misty damp Tuesday lunch time. Though a little chilly inside, a lovely cafe with such pleasant lady in charge. Our sandwiches were fresh, great bacon and super sausages topped off with a very tasty cuppa x 2. Very reasonably priced and would recommend you try it. Will return sometime, thank you!

Ok good, cheap ingredients. Member of staff putting cookies and cakes into display cabinet, no tongs or gloves used, stopped had a little chat coughed and then continued, decided not to buy a brownie🤢

It is such a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and the staff are really helpful and exude their own happiness to be working in such a lovely place.

I don't often leave reviews but noticed this place doesn't have many so had to especially after such a positive experience!! We were staying in a local Air BnB for a girls night and looked at local takeaways. This was very close so gave it a try and absolutely recommend this chinese takeaway! We had a variety of dishes and shared between all 4 of us. It was amazing food. The spring rolls say mini but aren't, they're quite big. I ordered two bags thinking they'd be tiny but I'm very glad they weren't! It was the highlight for me haha! Sweet and sour chicken was lush, the garlic chicken with pineapple I think it was called omg was divine! Noodles were lush! My friends had seafood dishes and enjoyed those a lot too. Chicken balls were big and yummy. We are already planning our next visit and having another takeaway from here! 5 out of 5, if you're staying anywhere nearby defo check it out. They even gave us free prawn crackers and a free can of drink when we collected. Our order was about £80 so I don't know if it was because of that but service was fantastic too. We ordered by phone and collected, we were slightly early and it was ready for us in heat sealed bags to keep it warm, very impressed and absolutely recommend.

Well. What can I say apart from 5*. I've never been greeted with a nicer smile &- attitude. How to order was explained easily & were told to wait in the warmth of our car & order. Food was super quick. We had ordered kinder topped donuts with whippy, kinder bueno milkshake & strawberry ice cream whippy. When I order arrived to our car we were told that due to the time they'd ran out of strawberries and kinder piece however then proceeded to give us a slushy extra, two kinder hippos for little one to eat and a huge apology... (it wasn't needed, the strawberries weren't missed too much) Genuinely a lovely women running a very successful small business. Rate highly.

Came first a spot of light lunch. Was busy but served quickly and got our food quickly. Staff friendly and prices extremely reasonable!

An absolute must. Amazing food served on time and piping hot. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the the pepperoni pizza and cheesy garlic bread and it was that good we went back for dessert! The Nutella dessert is 10/10! Thank you to all the team :)

This is a good family friendly club. Love it! Always made to feel welcome. Brilliant atmosphere and food very good.

Some of the nicest fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was so meaty! All cooked perfectly and not full of grease. It was also VERY clean in there, including the toilets.

We were guided hereby the restaurant next door while we waited for a table, great recommendation! Very bubbly friendly waitress served us Pornstar Martinis that were so nice we returned for premeal cocktails the following night, well worth a visit, superb tasting cocktails

Lovely lady , food fantastic.There are a few small cafes in the area but the service and quality are first class.Interesting decor and even the toilet has bohemian charm.

Whilst on holiday we thought we'd give them a try. Food was tasty and value for money. I would recommend giving it a try. Would love to have tried more.

Amazing spot for food, conveniently located in the high street. Me and my friend shared a mushroom starter and both had a sirloin steak which came with potatoes and choice or salad or veg. Very reasonably sized portions of delicious food and I say this as a fussy steak eater but this was perfect! Pat and Gracie provided wonderful service and were so friendly. I will certainly be coming back here as the food was amazing and it is very reasonably priced.

Great friendly pub. Good beer prices, great staff Steve is great. Locals all talk and you’re made welcome. Not far from the Time and Tide museum. Well worth a visit.
