On holiday in Great Yarmouth and out for a walk round the town, looking for a snack for lunch and saw the menu for this place. It was worth it, really tasty and not at all expensive for the bowl full you got.

Over priced if I'm honest so wouldn't order again but what we did have was okay.

This is the place to go if you like good food and a good atmosphere. You will need to book as it gets very busy

I would not recommend this restaurant for gluten free! I ate here a few years ago and we didn’t have any problems. However, last week, we ordered a takeaway which took over an hour to be cooked and the staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. I watched the staff put the gluten free fish in the same counter as the gluten containing fish. The gluten fish was dripped over the top of the gluten free one when placed into the counter. Also, the utensils used for the chips were placed in the same dish as the tongs used for the gluten containing fish. So the chips then all become cross contaminated. Eventually, after watching the process, I explained the problems I had with the staff and they understood. I asked for a fresh gf fish and chips to be placed from the fryer directly to my box rather than put straight into the heated counters. In the end the food was lovely however the service was appalling.
