Food was really really good. Service was quick and happy. The style of the bar and restaurant was very cool and loved how quiet it was. Good music selection as well. Will be coming back soon!

For the very best grub when I'm in or around Norfolk it has to be here. I just love the ribs but the whole family never complained and we always go back for more

Have now been here three times and tried something different each visit. So far each visit the food has been great, service has been good. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone.

Service is great food not burgers very very dry it came out very quickly I think it was pre cooked as very dry and the meat in my burger looked liked it been thrown in no cheese put in the burgers and there change there rolls to bread rolls not burger rolls we came in January food was so much better. It looks like there trying to safe money. But the food is expensive for what u get .

I cannot fault this place in any way it is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. It is nice to see the staff so relaxed and happy and very attentive. I love the coleslaw!

Have eaten many times here and would rate it 5 stars every time. This time however was so different. Burgers dry and overcooked, brisket over cooked and hard , burger buns are now just a bread roll will oil rubbed on the top. Service was also very slow . When I pointed this out to our waiter his response was "we have changed meat supplier, yes bread rolls are now used and there is a trainee chef. I really like the restaurant and will return but not until changes are made . Yes I know it was buy one get one , but I still need to enjoy it . I see there are a few reviews now saying similar things. Let's hope this is taken on board and changes are made. I do hope to see you again soon .

Booking was very difficult for told I needed to a pay deposit in 7 days then got called every day asking for one then when going to pay told me they had given my time away so had to go later. Table wasn’t ready for when we arrived and was still dirty when we sat down. Food wait was over 40 minutes when turned up burgers were burnt! Usually a very good place to eat but for a birthday meal this evening was very let down

Always good food and the staff are always friendly and happy to help me and my wife visit very regularly just been again on Sunday for my birthday I usually have the triple bypass burger or ribs I went for the ribs on my birthday it’s a 45 minute drive but well worth it and we enjoy the bike nights in the summer on Thursdays

Done a great job on the night had the T bone to share with some sides, cooked perfectly, The wait staff very attentive and one of the best in the area

The only thing I have left to remember from my last visit was 12 hours of being violently sick 🤒 I was served a shandy but the lager was floating on top of the lemonade, querying this I was told to mix it , food was ok but not the best , burger was really dry , serving staff weren’t the brightest of sparks but despite that we had a good catch up As we were left alone for so long ,

Went on a Tuesday night, was packed, managed to get us in. 2 for 1 on burgers and hotdogs, brisket was amazing, a must try. Our waitress, Cally Rose, was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place. Will make it a must if I'm ever down here again

Came yesterday for a bit of diner and for the money I spent well was rubbish to be honest I ordered mix grill rank meat over cooked and looks like it had been sat under a hot plate ages as it took them about 50/60 mins to fetch it to the table poor I won’t be returning again overrated

Food wasn't the best, wasn't the burger I was hoping for. They had a very busy night in January but still I would expect the same quality. However the service & atmosphere was great, they made my husband feel very special on his birthday. ☺️☺️

Had a fantastic meal last night in the Smokehouse Ormesby as part of my Birthday weekend in Norfolk with good friends. The food was excellent and portion sizes were very generous. But the icing on the cake was our server Lilliebelle whose personality made it an absolutely great evening. Will definitely go again.

Americana style decor & vibe. Excellent service followed by incredible food. Make sure you are hungry when you visit, as the portions are a good size. Not over priced for the quality & atmosphere. If only I didn't an hour & half away!

I liked American atmosphere and decorations. Portions were pretty big, enough ribs for 2 ppl. Would not recommend vegetarian lasagna

Lovely food and excellent service

Great theming and feel to the restaurant, service a bit inconsistent, clearly lacking the needed experience/leadership, no fault of the servers who were friendly. Food was good but burger was dry, BBQ blowout was MEGA and deffo enough to share between two/have a smaller other main. I would stick to the BBQ'd meat parts of the menu.

Lovely restaurant and obviously lots of effort to keep it up. Service was good but could do with a bit more experience. My partner's food was great but unfortunately for me mine was quite lacking, burger was very over cooked and dry and there was pretty much no sauce on the bbq pulled pork especially compared to my partner's. Would love to try again but I wouldn't get a burger.

Absolutely outstanding food. The service was incredible too, even though they were extremely busy, they somehow made us feel like their only customers.

Absolutely amazing been many times now and never had an issue, massive portions so doesn't work out too expensive and you don't need a starter or dessert

Poor quality food. Hot dog was just in a bun with chips on the side. No onions or relishes, dry bun. Chicken wings very dry. Service friendly but hit and miss, requested a sauce, never bought, had to ask multiple times for cutlery and napkins.

Fantastic place, staff are amazing and friendly, the food was fantastic and you never had to wait too long for your food and the price was great for 8 of us. I had the 30oz T-bone and it was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend.

This place came highly recommended, and the food definitely didn't disappoint, as what we had was awesome, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The only slight negatives were the car parking, and the lack of sufficient toilet facilities upstairs. The car park is a bit of a shambles, and could do with some lines to designate the parking bays for those too ignorant to park with consideration for others. The toilet facilities for upstairs aren't really sufficient when the restaurant hits the busy period, as there are just 2 toilets, and these are used by both customers and staff, causing people to queue on a staircase. Otherwise, we did have a lovely evening meal, and would recommend to others.

We visited here with friends for my birthday and everything was spot on, even the staff had a laugh with us they also made sure everything was okay with our food. The food was delicious and very well laid out I will definitely be visiting again soon 😊

My ribs were a little dry, chips were lovely. Blooming onion was too salty and crispy for our tastes 10oz steak medium rare looked fabulous but didn't quite hit the mark. We felt it wasn't rested long enough. 1 party member was sick the next morning after eating said steak We will be back again as the atmosphere was great and staff lovely. We will try burgers next time

We love this place. We've been a couple of times, food is delicious and the place has a chilled & quirky vibe, but what makes us return is the service - all of the wait staff are so friendly, helpful and just the right level of attentive (hate it when wait staff hover). Finally, their milkshakes are next level!

Had a pleasant first time eating here. The staff were friendly and the food was ok. You weren't too cramped as the restaurant was nicely presented and spacious. Ample parking and the toilets were nice and clean. I would of preferred some relishes with my burger and chips rather than tomato sauce and mayonnaise, but I did get a free burger on the 2 for 1 offer. I did find the burgers a bit dry and the chilli lacked flavour but overall It was a nice experience and would definitely come again 😋

Myself and 5 friends Recently visited the smoke house and I must say we were not over impressed the staff were okay but there was actually only one who was very engaging the rest didn't seam to want to be there the food was very nice and good portion sizes where it all went wrong for us was one of the males in our group reported the gents toilet was blocked and nearly over flowing when we first got in there nobody seam too care nor did they attempt to do anything about it not good enough considering how much we was charged wouldn't go back and defiantly wouldn't recommend a real shame as it was my wife's and our friends birthday on the Sunday and this evening had bean planned for some time

It was such a shame as normally very good. Burgers were so dry that they were a struggle to eat. Mac N Cheese bland. Staff were great and such a lovely place but food needs to improve ( hopefully an off day?)

My absolute new favourite place to eat!!! Staff are amazing, the food was outstanding and the service 10/10. I can't recommend enough. Definitely book in advance, I went on a Wednesday and it was really busy. Can't wait to return to try something different on the menu.

Brittany was a very attentive waitress and accommodating for our meal alteration requests. She noticed something was missing before I did, and rectified this mistake. Really warm service and made a comfortable experience.

Had quite a lot of bad excuses for BBQ in the recent years, so I'm glad we finally found a place that hasn't disappointed. Not overly smoked or too sweet, meat all fell off the bones, the rib rack was loaded with meat. Me and my wife got the platter, under normal circumstances that would have been enough for us both, but on this particular day was the rare occasion where I could eat the Earth, so I was disappointed I had to share, not through any fault of your own of course. I live a long way away, so probably won't be back, but on the off chance I am in the area I will try my best to.

Amazing place. Beautifully decorated and gorgeous staff that can’t do enough to make you comfy and welcome. Food was insanely good - had a steak and the bbq blowout with a side of mac n cheese. I decided to try the Smokehouse after recommendations from friends who had been there a couple of weeks ago, and WoW!! I honestly cant fault anything from my visit, the waiting staff were absolutely top drawer! and the food was another level!! Will deffo come again next time im in the area.

Food was very nice Indeed, service was good too, My only criticism was is I wasn't asked about any allergies when ordering a drink, i ordered a raspberry gin and there was strawberry in there, I am allergic to strawberries however this was quickly rectified

We were welcomed by helpful, friendly staff. The smokehouse has a nice relaxed atmosphere even when really busy. The food was great. Plenty of it and cooked to perfection. All in all, it was a pleasant experience for me and the wife.

I recently visited this restaurant and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were told, as it was busy, that the wait would be 1 1/2 hours. But they put themselves out and got us in in 20 mins. The food was great the service sharp, professional and second to none. Again Thankyou and we will be back!!

Came here for the first time after being recommended. We were looked after by Lilybelle who was absolutely brilliant. She was great fun and had a brilliant sense of humour! The food was lovely and there was plenty of it, which makes the prices worth it. One of our party is vegetarian and that meal was also very good. Travelled 30 miles to come here and would definitely do it again in the future.

Its concept is the typical all-American fare - burgers, hotdogs, ribs, steaks etc. I ordered a hot dog - after all who doesn't love a good hotdog. Well to be fair you get American sizes as well as the hotdog itself was massive along with a very generous portion of fries. However, the bun that the sausage came in was like a brick and completely inedible. As for the sausage - it was passable - but still tasted somewhat processed. I ordered a bowl of chilli too and that lacked flavour and was rather watery. The service was ok but frankly I barely ate anything and couldn't wait to leave.

Alf is amazing, made our lunch even better!! Kitchen sadly was a little slow and missed some of our orders but Alf saved the day being polite and a comical genius!

Well what can we say , we visited on the 11th October to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. After loads of our friends recommended we booked. We were not disappointed!! The restaurant and bar were very authentic ( my husband is from USA and felt very at home) we were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff who took us into the bar were we ordered drinks. The lady said she would come and get us when our table was ready. We were 30 mins early. Our table was ready we were shown to our seats and asked if we wanted to order another drink which we did. Drinks came , the long island Ice tea is amazing. We ordered food. The starters came stunning presentation my husband was over the moon with his blooming onion. Our mains came and they were outstanding so much food and the quality was so good we haven't tasted burgers like this. My husband was too full for a dessert but me being be left space and ordered the key lime pie. I've never had it before and my husband wanted to try it to see if it tasted like the one in America, and it did. Our waitress was very good friendly checking in on us throughout our visit. She went above and beyond for everyone even though you were very busy. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But we were in the far back room she made our visit very pleasant and we want to thank you , thank you all for making our anniversary very memorable. We will be back Charlotte and Aaron Baxter xxx

My two stars is to let you all know that the staff was better than the food itself. I had a ‘bird is the word’ and the chicken was dry, wasn’t worth the price it’s set at. But I will give this place another chance because I believe in second chances.

Just had a brilliant meal here. We had never been before but our friends had and really raved about it. It did not disappoint! My ribs fell off the bone and I’ve got some left for a midnight snack as well! Our waitress was really lovely, she was really funny and read the table really well, bringing plenty of laughs! Thanks for a lovely meal, we will most definitely be back!!

Lovely friendly staff. The place was decorated like an American steakhouse. The food was good we opted to share a big grill way too much. We took a lot home with us. The brazed steak and burnt ends were really good didn't leave any of those. The manageress was especially Lovely being very attentive to us taking our order and making sure we had everything we needed. Lovely place for a mid week treat .

Brilliant place with all the American themes. It was our second time eating here while on holiday. Staff are so friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Highly recommend. Can't remember our waitresses name apart from it beginning with a B and I think a Welsh name sorry. Great job though. Definitely will come again next time we are on holiday in hemsby.

If you like good barbecue then this place is not for you. Service was really good and it has to be because when you're passing jerky off as brisket then you need people out front who are good at covering for you. They even messed up a kids meal not once but twice. Seriously avoid, you'd be better off buying a disposable barbecue and cooking your own.

Have been many times before and the food has been great. This time, all of us who had burgers said the burgers were over cooked and dry with no seasoning so were unfortunately disappointed. A few of our orders were not quite right which the waitress apologised for. Overall not as nice as previous visits.

One of the best USA themed places I have been to. They go all out. Large portions & good food.

Absolutely amazing. First class food, service and atmosphere. So much so went back the following night to try more. Definitely two of the best meat feasts I've had outside of the USA. A must if visiting the area and worth making the trip even if you're not.

Went there about a month ago on a Sunday. Got there just after 12 lunch time. The place was very nice and we was looking forwards to some nice food.Went in and ordered 6 meals at a cost of nearly £100, lady very nice who took the order. Food came very quickly but went down hill fast.Some of the food was warm at best no cutlery no salt pepper vinegar nothing and time we did finally get it the food was cold. My so called burger was dry cold and really crispy around the edge. I called the young lad over (who was very good and told him the food was crap, should have said unedable). With that along came the person who took our order and started going off at me, very unprofessional, and then trying to tell me that as its a smash burger it's supposed to be like it to keep the taste in. We'll madam I know what a smash burger is and its definitely not like that ie dry burnt and tasteless. I didn't hardly ate any of mine as she stormed off with no apology refund or anything.
