My absolute new favourite place to eat!!! Staff are amazing, the food was outstanding and the service 10/10. I can't recommend enough. Definitely book in advance, I went on a Wednesday and it was really busy. Can't wait to return to try something different on the menu.

Brittany was a very attentive waitress and accommodating for our meal alteration requests. She noticed something was missing before I did, and rectified this mistake. Really warm service and made a comfortable experience.

Had quite a lot of bad excuses for BBQ in the recent years, so I'm glad we finally found a place that hasn't disappointed. Not overly smoked or too sweet, meat all fell off the bones, the rib rack was loaded with meat. Me and my wife got the platter, under normal circumstances that would have been enough for us both, but on this particular day was the rare occasion where I could eat the Earth, so I was disappointed I had to share, not through any fault of your own of course. I live a long way away, so probably won't be back, but on the off chance I am in the area I will try my best to.

Amazing place. Beautifully decorated and gorgeous staff that can’t do enough to make you comfy and welcome. Food was insanely good - had a steak and the bbq blowout with a side of mac n cheese. Delicious and filling ! Reasonably priced too! And the mojitos were on point ! From London but will return!!

I decided to try the Smokehouse after recommendations from friends who had been there a couple of weeks ago, and WoW!! I honestly cant fault anything from my visit, the waiting staff were absolutely top drawer! and the food was another level!! Will deffo come again next time im in the area.

We were welcomed by helpful, friendly staff. The smokehouse has a nice relaxed atmosphere even when really busy. The food was great. Plenty of it and cooked to perfection. All in all, it was a pleasant experience for me and the wife.

Food was very nice Indeed, service was good too, My only criticism was is I wasn't asked about any allergies when ordering a drink, i ordered a raspberry gin and there was strawberry in there, I am allergic to strawberries however this was quickly rectified

I recently visited this restaurant and the staff could not have been more helpful. We were told, as it was busy, that the wait would be 1 1/2 hours. But they put themselves out and got us in in 20 mins. The food was great the service sharp, professional and second to none. Again Thankyou and we will be back!!

Came here for the first time after being recommended. We were looked after by Lilybelle who was absolutely brilliant. She was great fun and had a brilliant sense of humour! The food was lovely and there was plenty of it, which makes the prices worth it. One of our party is vegetarian and that meal was also very good. Travelled 30 miles to come here and would definitely do it again in the future.

Great American style diner, stuffed with memorabilia and Americana, good choice of food and great portions, make sure you're hungry when you go!

We stumbled upon this fantastic American-style bar and restaurant by chance, and the food was incredible! The home-smoked baby back ribs were the best I’ve ever had. This place is now on our favorites list, and highly recommended!!

The Smokehouse is a big, rambling restaurant and clearly gets extremely busy in the summer with all its outdoor seating although even in autumn, when I visited, it was pretty much packed to the rafters. Its concept is the typical all-American fare - burgers, hotdogs, ribs, steaks etc. I ordered a hot dog - after all who doesn't love a good hotdog. Well to be fair you get American sizes as well as the hotdog itself was massive along with a very generous portion of fries. However, the bun that the sausage came in was like a brick and completely inedible. As for the sausage - it was passable - but still tasted somewhat processed. I ordered a bowl of chilli too and that lacked flavour and was rather watery. The service was ok but frankly I barely ate anything and couldn't wait to leave.

Alf is amazing, made our lunch even better!! Kitchen sadly was a little slow and missed some of our orders but Alf saved the day being polite and a comical genius!

Second visit to The Smokehouse and loved it both times. Great atmosphere and super staff!

Well what can we say , we visited on the 11th October to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. After loads of our friends recommended we booked. We were not disappointed!! The restaurant and bar were very authentic ( my husband is from USA and felt very at home) we were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff who took us into the bar were we ordered drinks. The lady said she would come and get us when our table was ready. We were 30 mins early. Our table was ready we were shown to our seats and asked if we wanted to order another drink which we did. Drinks came , the long island Ice tea is amazing. We ordered food. The starters came stunning presentation my husband was over the moon with his blooming onion. Our mains came and they were outstanding so much food and the quality was so good we haven't tasted burgers like this. My husband was too full for a dessert but me being be left space and ordered the key lime pie. I've never had it before and my husband wanted to try it to see if it tasted like the one in America, and it did. Our waitress was very good friendly checking in on us throughout our visit. She went above and beyond for everyone even though you were very busy. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. But we were in the far back room she made our visit very pleasant and we want to thank you , thank you all for making our anniversary very memorable. We will be back Charlotte and Aaron Baxter xxx

My two stars is to let you all know that the staff was better than the food itself. I had a ‘bird is the word’ and the chicken was dry, wasn’t worth the price it’s set at. But I will give this place another chance because I believe in second chances.

Brilliant food and service from all the staff, brisket burger was amazing

Lovely friendly staff. The place was decorated like an American steakhouse. The food was good we opted to share a big grill way too much. We took a lot home with us. The brazed steak and burnt ends were really good didn't leave any of those. The manageress was especially Lovely being very attentive to us taking our order and making sure we had everything we needed. Lovely place for a mid week treat .

Just had a brilliant meal here. We had never been before but our friends had and really raved about it. It did not disappoint! My ribs fell off the bone and I’ve got some left for a midnight snack as well! Our waitress was really lovely, she was really funny and read the table really well, bringing plenty of laughs! Thanks for a lovely meal, we will most definitely be back!!

Brilliant place with all the American themes. It was our second time eating here while on holiday. Staff are so friendly and helpful, food was amazing. Highly recommend. Can't remember our waitresses name apart from it beginning with a B and I think a Welsh name sorry. Great job though. Definitely will come again next time we are on holiday in hemsby.

If you like good barbecue then this place is not for you. Service was really good and it has to be because when you're passing jerky off as brisket then you need people out front who are good at covering for you. They even messed up a kids meal not once but twice. Seriously avoid, you'd be better off buying a disposable barbecue and cooking your own.

Have been many times before and the food has been great. This time, all of us who had burgers said the burgers were over cooked and dry with no seasoning so were unfortunately disappointed. A few of our orders were not quite right which the waitress apologised for. Overall not as nice as previous visits.

One of the best USA themed places I have been to. They go all out. Large portions & good food.

Absolutely amazing. First class food, service and atmosphere. So much so went back the following night to try more. Definitely two of the best meat feasts I've had outside of the USA. A must if visiting the area and worth making the trip even if you're not.

Went there about a month ago on a Sunday. Got there just after 12 lunch time. The place was very nice and we was looking forwards to some nice food.Went in and ordered 6 meals at a cost of nearly £100, lady very nice who took the order. Food came very quickly but went down hill fast.Some of the food was warm at best no cutlery no salt pepper vinegar nothing and time we did finally get it the food was cold. My so called burger was dry cold and really crispy around the edge. I called the young lad over (who was very good and told him the food was crap, should have said unedable). With that along came the person who took our order and started going off at me, very unprofessional, and then trying to tell me that as its a smash burger it's supposed to be like it to keep the taste in. We'll madam I know what a smash burger is and its definitely not like that ie dry burnt and tasteless. I didn't hardly ate any of mine as she stormed off with no apology refund or anything.

Was on holiday with the my family and we've been past the smoke house a few times but never got the chance to go in! But this time we made sure we got there! And we wasn't disappointed at all it was amazing from the food to the staff! They really looked after us and made sure my two boys had everything they needed from start to finish! This will not be the last time we pay a visit! Absolutely fantastic. Thanks

Absolutely fantastic first visit !! Lillibelle (hope I spelt it correctly) was amazing! And kept it light hearted and funny never had a server like it but we would come back just for the banter ! Food was amazing portions were great ! And at such an great price ! Thanks for great first visit we will be back !

It was the second time we’ve visited and was great! Our server was fabulous x we visited on 27/09 and sat in the area where Betty Boop (lily) was! She was fab!!!

Some of the best brisket I have ever had, and excellent service from Branwen explained the menu very well and quick and efficient service. Definetely a 5 star experience.

The nicest food, atmosphere , decor inside & out. Hubby had 20oz rump, I had mac n jack bites & baby ribs. Loved the bites. Not a fan of the smoke on the ribs. I understand they are smoked lol, just not my buds. Nice cocktail. Good value. My 4* is the fact we were sat under the aircon unit on a cold night, freezing whilst there. And no i didn't ask to move as were full. We tried to get in prior night (sat) no booking & full. So had to book on website to secure, during the day. Would visit again if ever in the area again. We are from Gloucester so had travelled far. But worth the visit.

Stopped here for a burger and drink. The burger rates in my top 3 all time best burgers . Well worth a visit

Great food, super tasty, great portions. Service was a little haphazard, took a while to bring menus, order, deliver deserts (then forget two) then asked to make sure we were about to go for the next table (which I knew we needed to do but delays meant we felt rushed at the end). Would come again.

We went here whilst on holiday. Is an American themed restaurant. The food was priced very reasonably and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, with slow cooked brisket, ribs, and amazing burgers. So good we went for 2 evenings. Had lots of options, including vegetarian. Huge portions, well priced and tasted amazing. Only tiny niggle, is the music was a bit loud. Otherwise A++

Food was served in good time by friendly staff. All orders were correct and cooked the we asked. I had the 11oz sirloin steak. A couple of gristley bits but that's expected with sirloin. Chips were nice. Music didn't really match the ambience, but it wasn't loud. Will visit again.

Brilliant place good atmosphere. This was our 3rd trip and everytime has been really enjoyable. Yhe staff are really helpful and very friendly went above and beyond to accommodate us. Will definitely continue to return and try more of the amazing menu.

Pitiful excuse for food. The starter, burnt ends, were fatty and cold. The baby back ribs after the second rib tasted the same, albeit the smoke was alright, but the sauce was congealed. The portion was oversized and there was no space on the plate to actually move your food about to eat it and by the time you're halfway through its all cold. The brisket was dry and extremely fatty. The service was slow and unfriendly, it took forever to get our bill, which was forgotten about. Overall, fattening in all the wrong ways.

My fiancée and I were looking for somewhere to get some dinner and we found this place on Google that caught his eye (he’s a Michelin star chef) so thought we’d check it out and oh my god we did not regret it! We turned up and the general manager was lovely and got us sat down more or less straight away and bought our drinks over from the bar for us. The staff were amazing, happy and so friendly it was lovely to see. The food came out and it was lush!! Even just the look of it was amazing! And the portions are incredible, defo worth the money! Deserts are also amazing! Atmosphere is awesome and there is so much to look at! We are so so pleased thank you so much for the amazing experience we will definitely be back!!

Booked a meal for my husband's birthday - there were 7 of us (on a Monday evening.) First of all, the staff were fantastic. The waitresses were so attentive and smiley. This makes a huge difference to amy experience. The food came quickly and was delicious! There was also a Magiciam who was just fabulous! This wasn't our first trip to the Smokehouse and won't be our last.

A party of 12 of us came for a meal here. All of us left very full lol Meals were huge & served hot

Our server was amazing. Great atmosphere. Celebrated a birthday and they went above and beyond to suit us. Decorated the table and multiple birthday wishes from all of the waiters. Food is amazing. Great portion sizes!!

Family holiday dinner, and pretty much everything was great, rack of babyback ribs went down well and various burgers were had and enjoyed, the "junior mac' n cheese" was enjoyed, one letdown was the "junior Buttermilk chicken burger" was two chicken nuggets in a bun? Had they run out of chicken burgers one wonders? If so surely the replacement would have been a portion of chicken nuggets(the same price) rather than two nuggets in a bun. Desserts were had and very much enjoyed, the staff were excellent

Arrived on a summer's Saturday evening and inside and outside was rammed! Our table (of 4) was ready. Been here a few times now and, honestly, have never had a bad experience. The staff are all friendly, the service is brilliant, and the food is fantastic. I can't get enough of it. I have never left hungry or unable to walk properly due to not being able to limit myself and not absolutely cram as much down my neck as possible. Highly recommend smokehouse and will definitely be returning 😘👌🏼👍🏼

Sign stood out immediately and felt we needed to visit. As soon as we turned into the driveway it felt welcoming. Da Bluz Brothers were entertaining the crowds out in the garden. We was welcomed in straight away by a couple of friendly waitresses. The venue was clean and comfy as well as a great atmosphere. Food was prompt, delicious and reasonably priced. After we decided to enjoy the entertainment outside. Great evening and will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend and well deserving of those 5 stars. 🤩

Can't recommend the place more. We had three days by the beach and looked for nice places to eat. Tried to book pm meal but fully booked - a good sign! Went for lunch and the place is great. The US theme is done really well, down to great details. Lots of places kind of half try it but Smokehouse smokes it, even having cop cars outside which are pretty cool. The staff are lovely and the food is really tasty. If I see a burger challenge I try it, and i failed, but gave the Triple Bypass burger a good go. They've all got great names btw. My kids loved it and we didn't eat for the rest of the day. For me, the food is great value and I see why its booked up so get in early. I think it's a small chain so if I see one again I'm going. For me, with the food, fantastic decor theme, value and service this is my favourite burger place in the UK, and I eat burgers nationwide, trust me.

Went on at a bike night, great atmosphere and food

The quality of the food and the service were both exceptional. From the moment we entered, the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and courteous. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The outdoor seating area had music playing, which created a pleasant ambiance. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Had really high hopes but was sadly disappointed... There wasn't anything worth complaining about but overall the food was all lacking in quality and pricey for what you got . We got the sharing platter... The blooming onion was disappointing! I was gutted cos this was the thing that had made us decide to visit! The batter was all falling off and tasted floury and was greasy... The other bits like the jalapeno "clusters" (poppers), mozzarella sticks etc were just bog standard stuff you could buy in a supermarket... The food arrived and some bits were warm, not hot. The chicken burgers on 2 meals were good. The brisket was lovely... but for £22... A bigger portion was expected! The brisket came with onion rings, again, just cheap supermarket ones with mushed up onion, not proper onion rings. Same with the chips, nothing special. Corn on the cob was nice but maybe if it had been finished on the grill or dusted with some seasoning or something... The actual place is great, lots of fab American theming although, lacked atmosphere as we were sat in a small room with a couple of other tables. The outside space looked fantastic and I bet there's a great atmosphere when the live music is on etc.

We attended on Saturday for my son’s 7th birthday and we had such an amazing time. Service was great with lots of staff wishing him happy birthday,games provided to play at the table,service was quick and food was delivered in a good time and tasted amazing. Always a fantastic meal here,thank you so much and keep up the hard work.
