The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Colchester East of England

I’m writing to you today to express my pure Hatred towards this Chinese, we ordered on a Friday night and when it arrived we were missing 3 items, and in all honesty I’m am MEGA MEGA fuming, we phoned up about the lost meals and they said they can’t do anything about it, at this point my husband was crying. We would just like let the world know that you’d be better off eating you own hand then this Chinese, thank you and goodnight 🙏(we did still eat it in the end, but yet again it was horrible ;)

Incomplete order even after I had asked them to make sure that it was all there. Their only remedy was come and collect it, which would me leaving the rest of the food to get cold or they would refund against the next order. Well I won’t be going back in a hurry as they have done this to me before.

Just order and receive our takeaway within 40 minutes, piping hot and delicious 😋 Great value for money 💰

Chow mein greasy ,chicken dry ,chips dry ,food tasted weird not fresh

I’ve been using this Chinese takeaway ever since they first opened (many years) and telling friends and family that it’s good value for money, however tonight the £37:60 meal was the worst I’ve ever had. The Barbecue spare ribs came in what I can only describe as diluted gravy, The tasteless Kung-po chicken, even though it came in a source was very dry, the chicken with cashews In yellow bean sauce was very similar to the king-po chicken and was accompanied by masses of onions to bulk out the meal. If ever there was any leftover, I would save it for the next day sadly this lot about £15 worth was scrape in the bin. I must admit the one chicken noodle soup was up to their normal standard and so was the special fried rice. I can only think they’ve had a change of Chef and it’s time for us to start using the other local takeaways. Overall, very disappointing meal.

Wouldn't use again, I wasn't impressed with the food at all

I eat here regularly but usually order it to go — they’re a little on the pricey side but well worth it. This the best Chinese restaurant for vegetarians and vegans, they offer almost all main-menu options with a veggie alternative and they’re not just replacing things with basic veg like other places. Vegan “chicken style” balls are delicious and always crispy, love the chow mein and portions are always enough to share.

Don’t bother… You will wait hours to collect your takeaway. It’s sheer greed on their part. They clearly can’t cope with the volume of orders, but continue to take them. So even if ordering in advance you will wait at the premises up to an hour after they said it would be ready. Not just once.. every time. This business will nose dive as soon as there is some competition on Mersea

Got a really nice takeaway with my partner, really surprised about the amount of choice that we got and it was so tasty! Got a king po beef, set menu an and some really nice chips! Would happily order again

I ordered a delivery by telephone, paid by card and waited an hour an a half on a Saturday night for my food to arrive. On arrival there was food missing, I called the restaurant to be told a dish that I ordered was not on the menu so that’s why they did not deliver it. When I asked why they took the order and payment when the food isn’t on the menu I was told the person who took the order was new and they didn’t know. Totally ruined my night with my family who is visiting. Was told they can’t bring me anything else as they are short on delivery drivers!!! 0/10 for this restaurant

If I could give minus I would, food absolutely awful cold and soggy rang up and wouldn't even replace some of the food was told no pay for basically what you get.. No meat had to reheat some or the family food as diabetic and waited 2 hrs would never recommend this place at all

Had a delivery from here and the food really wasn't that great. Ribs full of inedible bits, ended up throwing away far more than you could actually eat. Other dishes were very watery and didn't taste that great. Spring rolls were good and other dishes were ok but shame about the rest.
