The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Basildon East of England

The food was really good and very tasty. Service was on point, no delays and staff very friendly. The best Chinese I would say in Essex when it comes to flavours.

Ordered a delivery for the first time from Rice and Noodles tonight. It arrived in about 20 minutes. I had the king prawn with mix vegetables and my partner had Chicken Hong Kong style. We got udon mushroom noodles and large egg fried rice as sides. They gave us free prawn crackers which was nice! The food was warm but not hot, but that’s nothing out of the ordinary when getting a takeaway. They were happy to accommodate to my intolerance to peppers and the prawns were perfectly cooked. My partner said his main was nice. The udon mushroom noodles were delicious but I will ask to omit the bean sprouts next time so there are more of the noodles as by the time it had mushrooms too there was quite a lot of veg. The large egg fried rice was a generous portion and it was lovely and soft but there was not any noticeable egg in it so I scrambled some egg at home and added it. Bit of a shame as we really love egg rice and it would have been a 5/5 review if there had been the egg we expected in it. I will ask for more egg next time and hope they can accommodate. Overall will definitely order again as despite there being took for improvement everything was nicely seasoned, fresh and not stodgy or oily. Thank you for a tasty dinner!

I am a foodie and this was our 1st time trying ho ho we spent a large amount and we defo got what we paid for, and if there was more stars to give them I would!!! This was the most tasty food I have had for years the portions were spot on the service was spot on I highly! highly! recommend ho ho everything was just perfect! This is our new Chinese all Chinese restaurant should lern from ho ho thank u all at ho ho for our yummy food make us very happy thank u 😊😊

First time trying here - Best Chinese in Billericay! Was super quick, the portions were huge, everything was so fresh and was the tastiest Chinese we have had in such a long time. Will definitely be our go to from now on!

Bitterly disappointed with special Chow Mein takeaway. Heavy leakage of fluid into bag due to distorted seal on container. At least half of the menu was nearly raw vegetables including carrot, potatoes, mange tout peas and large pieces of onion. Most of the meat were large slices of tough pork. Not the sort of thing expected from Chow Mein and poor value for price. Local competition is much better

there is no Chinese like it I am new to the area and this is the best Chinese I have ever eaten portion sizes was good delivery time was fast and best of all it tasted AMAZING you have just got yourself a new regular

Simple nice variety of dishes and wonderfully cooked, friendly staff, all in a good experience for my family will definitely go again recommend to all 😊

It would be good if you could present a better final bill, instead of just "Meal = £xx.xx"

Had Chinese Monday thought it was Great. Prawn toast was amazing. sweet and sour pork had great flavour and very soft Garlic chicken very tasty. will go back soon

We went for dinner on the 1st of Jan, it was busy but we were seated in 3-5 minutes of entering the restaurant. It's a buffet, so you can expect a wide selection of dishes to choose from, plus a Live grill counter and pancake crepe station, a sushi bar. The dishes were tasty( Indian dishes that were on the menu tasted awful) because there was a wide variety to choose from it didn't really bother me. Good for groups as it can accommodate larger groups, there is a car park nearby. The price of the buffet and drinks was reasonable.

This is our favourite takeaway. The food is always tasty and good quality and the staff in the shop are always pleasant. Highly recommended.
