The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East of England

It was my first visit here, the food was excellent and very tasty, service was quick and I'll be back.

Ordered for the first time tonight, we are very close to here and I could have collected but had a little lazy day, no complaints from them at all just a lovely “thank you for ordering from us” so that was very polite and wonderful service, food was absolutely stunning and demolished the lot!! Definitely be ordering again

I AM GLAD TO SAY I AM A REGULAR CUSTOMER AT THIS FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT FOR THE LUNCH BUFFET. A MODEST VENUE WITH LOVELY MEMBERS OF STAFF. THERE IS A RANGE OF SOUPS FOR STARTERS & CHICKEN CURRY, RICE, SPARE RIBS, CHICKEN IN BATTER WITH SWEET & SOUR SAUCE AS WELL AS BEEF & VEG OPTIONS TO PILE ON THE PLATE. DELICIOUS. ALWAYS AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.

Lovely meal whilst visiting the area. Possibly the best Chinese I have eaten (or a very close second). Not the cheapest, but was definitely worth the price.

The bento boxes here are absolutely worth So many delicious items in one meal, and everything was cooked perfectly. The miso soup was a great starter.

Good food not too expensive very friendly staff.

Had a table booked for 6:30pm, ordered drinks which took about half hour to arrive and had to be chased, which ended up being a can from a fridge! It’s a set Buffett menu, ordered starters which agin took about 40 mins if not longer to arrive with more chasing and trying to order more drinks which arrived eventually with more chasing. We sat for over an hour and a half waiting for main course which didn’t arrive so we gave up and told them we were leaving as we had had enough of the terrible service and wait times… we had NO apology and the “manager” had to be called over as they didn’t know what to charge us for the starters with it being a set menu! There is absolutely no way we should have been asked to pay for anything with such terrible service and no food turning up… after being charged £35 for 2 drinks and a starter we left - very disappointed very disgruntled and will NEVER return… ended up going to another nearby Chinese to get a takeaway instead! Used to be a good Chinese but is absolutely appalling now! Don’t bother visiting!

Lots of people recommended and was a let down to be far. Also they really need to change their fryer oil.

Such a shame, they charge expensive price but the food is way too bland, if you want real food this place is not the place to go. Very sloppy, flavourless food, asked for spicy and the waitress said yes, however 3 times I’ve been there the food Was absolutely bland. I hope The owner do Something about the kitchen staff .. the food is shockingly bad.

I can't comment on Atmosphere as it was a takeaway meal was delivered by their own delivery service. The delivery guy was very friendly and actually arrived about 15 minutes before expected, which was nice. To be honest it did seem a little expensive but once we had the food and saw the size and quality of the portions it was worth it. Everything tasted great and all cooked perfectly. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway I've had for years and very happy to recommend that people give them a try. They have quite an extensive menu so there should be something for everyone. (Definitely recommend the barbecue spare ribs, loads of meat on them, cooked so they are really tender in a lovely sauce!).

Went into the restaurant for a take-away. As I stood at the counter waiting for my order to be taken I was surprised to see a man behind the bar eating what appeared to be a chicken leg and a young boy eating a burger. Got home and the food was dire. Had ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style together with Crispy Duck, Egg Fried Rice and a Sweet & Sour Sauce. The Sweet & Sour Chicken was inedible and we had no option but to throw it all in the bin. There was virtually no sauce and the chicken was so overcooked that it was impossible to cut with a knife. The Crispy Duck was really salty and the Sweet & Sour Sauce was grainy and watery with a very strange colour.
