Although great food it was the wrong order one of the dishes was totally wrong. Luckily I didn’t mind it so ate it as no one was answering the phone.

Unfortunately part of the reason I stopped coming here was because they can’t cook certain dishes well at all, the Chinese that I usually go to was closed today so haven’t been here in a while and hoped for an improvement but no salt and pepper chicken couldn’t eat rock hard bullets covered in a weird white layer and asked for extra seasoning and got non , chips were so over cooked there was no potato inside and the egg fried rice was hard dry and grainy shame this use to be a good place.

Food was lukewarm and the chips weren’t delivered.

this is an honest review. I didn't really like the food which was a shame as I'd heard good things about it, the chicken balls were over cooked and the other dishes were very dry and the chips were overcooked, the egg fried rice was more like boiled rice, there wasn't any part of the meal we enjoyed but that's just my opinion others may enjoy it. On the plus side the portion size was good but we won't be ordering again.

Food was very dry, sweet and spirt chicken extremely dry and sauce came in a container not the original on top. The beef smelled really bad and I did not enjoy the shredded beef. Prawns were very tasty and gave me a free bottle of Pepsi which was very nice.

Great service and great food. There is plenty of selection and food. The staff are really friendly and made us feel very welcome. It's cash only.

alway order from Dragon Garden. delivery is always early, which is fine for us. Tried a new dish this time, the Cantonese fried chicken. the sauce was more like a watery chicken broth so will not order that again. everything else is what we have ordered before and love.

From the time of order took 2hrs to my door, we are only 5 mins from the restaurant. When called to chase was told the delivery was on its way but still took a further 15 mins to arrive.

Luckily I wasn't in the bath or on a call. Usually it's slightly early. Over an hour early this time, whilst appreciated the time management on the app needs working on as right until the expected delivery time no changes in the app at all.

Never turned up place is a joke

3 of us went for the evening buffet. the variety is large and all the time was being topped up by more fresh foods. all food was found to be tasty. The atmosphere was nothing special, in fact all rather plain but we went for the food which made it worthwhile

Just as good as the buffet when we go to eat in. The satay prawns on skewers are exceptionally good.

Often order from here but this food tasted bland and uninspiring.

Popped in here just because we fancied a Chinese for a change. It's not a big place, so if it's busy you may not be able to get in. The buffet style is well stocked constantly with things like soup, prawns, rice, pancakes, duck, spring rolls etc. Drinks are served at your table and are reasonably priced £4.10 for a rum and coke and around £4.50 for a pint. It's a bit of a squeeze trying to get to the buffet if a lot of people are around it but it all tasted good. Meal for 2 costs around £40 with drinks and it's an all you can eat buffet. Sometimes they come round with samples of cheesecake and meringue which is a nice touch.

Unfortunately the chicken noodles had no taste at all , salt and pepper chicken was hard plan balls that were flavourless the chicken balls were soggy very disappointing 2 time in a row not sure I’ll be coming back.

Very greasy, no taste and awful beef

After getting off the train from London we decided we were hungry but wasn't sure what we fancied. Walked the length of Shenley Road and thought we would pop into Dragon Garden. We were not disappointed. The staff were so lovely and the food was great. They kept refilling the dishes (buffet) and everything was hot and tasty. We will definitely be going back. It is difficult to find a good chinese restaurant these days.

Always loved this restaurant but we haven’t been for about a year. Don’t know what’s happened but it wasn’t up to their usual standard. The food was lukewarm and tasteless. The noodles that are always great were dry like they had been reheated. Very disappointing

Really good food would recommend

Our first time ordering from this place and it will be the last time. We have never experienced that food could taste over cooked, under cooked and out of date at the same time. Rice and noodles was extremely overcooked. Vegetables was so hard that it tasted like they didn’t touch the wok. Everything had a very overpowering smell of garlic, and when we smelled the beef the meat smelled very sickly sweet like it had gone off. Both meals ended up in the bin. Completely waste of money. Wanted to give it a try so we can support the local businesses, but oh my days. If that’s the best they can do……..

Food was alright, would be nice if the chicken chow mien included chicken and also if the egg fried rice actually included egg, could just be a one off issue though

Why are you charging with for chilli oil on big orders? Order was paid online but demanding separate cash on delivery for chilli oil and sauce! Please kindly reconsider this policy. Otherwise food is good.

Today is the first time we have had such an awful experience. The food tasted as if it had cooked in stale oil. Unfortunately, we threw it all away we could not get through the restaurant to complain

The meat was absolutely burnt and we could barely eat any of the duck or the sweet and sour chicken. It was so burnt and so hard that it wasn’t even chewable.

Food hot good portions very tasty

Ordered take away Saturday night (as we do from here most Saturday nights) I was the only one out of the 3 of us to eat the king prawn dish and wow Sunday morning I was in pain like something was stabbing my stomach the pain was unbearable and spent the next 2 days on or next to a toilet (never again would I get food from this establishment purely because they could not find it in themselves to throw the prawns away which had obviously been re frozen or left out too long and should have been put in the bin

The chips were lovely but the chicken Hong Kong style was awful! The texture was stale and chewy (even squeaky when biting into it) like it had been left out and reheated too many times

Bought from here because the reviews were good, however the food was shockingly bad and pretty much inedible. Just cheap nasty food, avoid!

Order took 2 hours to arrive and when it did it was burnt and soaked in grease making it completely inedible. Worst Chinese we have EVER had!

The food was amazingly good choice, temperature and flavour. The staff were friendly and helpful could not have done more Lovely atmosphere, no pushing , no queue everyone polite. Vegetarian options available. Busy restaurant but never make you feel rushed .What did we like best everything !!!!

This Chinese buffet restaurant is top notch. The food is scrumptious and there is ample choice. Jazmin and team are helpful, observant and they always go out of their way to make the eating experience here glorious. I highly recommend this place to all tourists and locals alike. Natasha Herman

They put mushrooms in a dish that has never had mushrooms in before we have had chicken curry a million times never a mushroom in sight and we are a household allergic to mushrooms

Good food and there was a buffet; absolutely no problem with the food but... CASH ONLY - SO WHY NOT TELL US THAT BEFORE WE EAT. Bloody ridiculous! I'll avoid in future..

Most of the food was good - except the chicken! It was hard and horrible so most of it got thrown away. I dont know what you did to make it taste like hard cardboard but i would suggest you improve on it!

It was a busy Friday night but took nearly 90mins to arrive

The food was ordered at 18.15, it had an estimated delivery of 19.40 - 20.00 which if that had been known before ordering I would not have ordered. When it hadn't arrived by 20.00 I rang the restaurant only to be informed that the order was only just being cooked, and was told that they had so many orders before. The man was rude and said if I wasn't happy I could cancel the order, I had already waited an hour and 45 minutes for the food. If they can't handle the volume of orders they should have a cut off, instead of leaving customers waiting for over 2 hours. The order finally arrived at 20.30

They didn’t deliver my food at all
