Ordered my food for a delivery. All food absolutely lovely and hot and delicious, will 100% order from here again.

Went in for lunch with 3 friends, quick service and great food - ideally located in centre of town.

Great place for couples to walk in. Called to reserve but told 2's walk in. Waited less than 5 mins for a table and got sat. Overall it was a great experience but to give 5 for each section is exceptional for myself. Great value we had starters, mains and a drink each for 60 pounds. Would have liked a check back but plenty of servers around to tell if issues. Will be returning!

As ever the service and food was excellent. Continued repeat customer who loves the varied menu. Would highly recommend.

Came here for lunch with a friend after seeing an advert on Social Media to try their katsu curry and smoked chicken. Food was absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, don't have any pictures to share as we scoffed it all down! My other friends had the combo noodles and rice, which I tried a bit of and were also very tasty. Would highly recommend coming with some friends so that you can sneak a bit of everyone else's food! Staff were nice and friendly and the food came out promptly. Next time I am in Ipswich, I will be coming baack :) Thanks!

Eaten here a number of times and it’s always been good. However on my last visit the food came very quickly and later that day I and my baby who shared my portion developed food poisoning. Will avoid in future unfortunately.

Great for work lunches, if you work in town. Bench tables & a speedy service. I’ve been here many times over the last 10+ years. My favourite is Duck Noodles, so tasty 10/10. (I’ve added a photo) I also like the sweet and sour chicken with rice. First time to Mizu. The ambience was good but the only concern was sharing the table with someone unknown. Service was good. The food was delicious. Ordered Satay chicken rice and pad thai noodles with lemonade. Served quick. The overall experience was good.

Asian Waitress with the excessive makeup was very rude! Requires a Degree in customer service. I won’t be eating there ever again!

Insane meal. I was craving wet, saucy, salty food urgently and and oh how that dream came true. Mizu came with exactly what i needed in that moment. In just 5 minutes, our cravings were satisfied, our taste buds tingled together. Extremely happy with the service and food. Love you mizu

Beautiful food, only reason not give star was I found a hair in one dish but it was dealt with very professionally. Service was quick and staff really kind and helpful. Seating uncomfortable, hard picnic style benches, I have a back problem so probably wouldn't be able to eat in here again as I need a proper chair and there was no space for one. Good value for money. Will definitely order a take away soon!

The menu has changed. Sadly, it is not as good as before covid. Too oily, limited selection, and it is just not the same as in 2013!! The menu then was appetising, but now, I don't even fancy any dishes. Regret having a meal in today.

A very chilled experience. Not over the top, down to earth, great for kids tasty and well priced . The menu is not exhausting has enough to offer.

Mizu is my new favorite spot for catching up with friends! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made us feel comfortable, even sharing a brief laugh about our chopstick skills. Now, onto the food – the Mizu combo noodles were absolutely delicious! They easily surpassed Wagamama for me, and the best part? They're much more budget-friendly too! Mizu has definitely earned a top spot on my list of go-to eateries. Looking forward to returning for more tasty meals!

Lovely little gem, a little hidden at the side of the corn exchange. Yummy compact menu with good children's choice. Took two children who demolished their noodles, and they are hard to please. I had vegetable satay noodles and they were very tasty. More than enough to fill you up. In our opinion nicer than wagamamas but less choice although came in cheaper. Worth a try and we think you'll be surprised!

Overall enjoyed it here and would go back. Food portion sizes are big which is very good for the money. The food was tasty and came very quick. The vermicelli noodles could have done with more spice but tasty. The only thing is I found, sitting on a bench and next to other people is a boy strange we had a guy who kept leaning back and actually moving the whole bench when you were sitting on it! And everytime someone moves your being jigged about. But I would say that's the main negative. Staff are quick and friendly.

This has really gone downhill recently. I’ve eaten in once and had takeaway twice in the past 6 months. It’s not what it used to be. Meat feels chewy, food is flavourless and bland and just really lacking. I won’t be using again based on these experiences. £50 wasted tonight on below average food.

Normally a really nice place to eat, we stopped for food yesterday the meats tasted really chewy and stringy with no taste but a rubbery texture like the satay chicken on skewer, couldn’t enjoy it, the meals came out within 5/10 minutes which was strange, didn’t seem like it was freshly cooked considering I had kung po chicken with egg fried (rice), the food was very over priced and all pre cooked, never received a mint at the end of the bill which was such a shame, little things go along way and with this experience made us not want to go here again!

Takeaway service was the worst I have ever experienced. Waited an hour so called to check it was on its way. 'woman' I spoke to argued with everything I said. I only called to see if our food was coming soon! When the order finally arrived, it was very tasty. Can't complain about that. But the awful telephone conversation put a damper on the experience.

Love this place! Popped over from London and came across this gem. Gorgeous food, very friendly service and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

It's ok. The food is tasty enough but isn't going to blow your socks off it is however priced very well. Staff are friendly but the atmosphere is very cold.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, I’ve never found another noodle bar that serves sesame chicken like this one does and I make sure to visit every time I’m in Ipswich, it’s worth the journey from Norwich just to come here!

Good prices for good meals. Very quick service. Only thing that was annoying was that it was not clear what the vegan options were. And why a vegan alternative was more expensive than the vegetarian one. Got told it was glutenfree. Huh? Also, the ingredients listed at some vegan options contained meat, so it was very confusing. Wonder if all waiters know the difference between vegan and glutenfree. Or why should a vegan options be glutenfree and therefore more expensive? I didn't feel I was understood so therefore I took vegetarian options that also seemed vegan... Meals were very good and had good portion, but the communication could be improved.

Food nice but for once not outstanding. Thats unusual for Mizu. Staff and service great. Good to eat where you can hold a conversation without being drowned out by music

Rating for takeaway. Prices rose on some items by pounds eg 12.95 to 16.95, in just a few weeks. Now costs too much for what it is. The food here is good, worth a visit in person in my experience. But too costly for takeaway now.

We came to the cinema and had an hour and a half to get food. We managed to get a tabel on arrival (friday night) and was in and out within 40 mins. The food came out pretty much straight after ordering it. The price was very reasonable. We would come again if we were at a loose end

I would say worth visiting. Food is nice and comes quick if your a bit rushed for time like we were. It was only £42.50 for 2 soft drinks, 2 sides and 2 mains which was plenty between the 2 of us. Would visit again :)

Amazing food, quick delivery, my only complaint is I wanted to swap the curry sauce with satay sauce, and had to pay extra, I have always done this in the past with no extra cost as its just swapping sauces, didn't take any money off when i told them to take the curry sauce off though, because of this I won't returning as a customer

Fabulous!!! Super tasty Japanese food. I loved Phad Thai…. Super yumm. Gyoza were amazing too. Katsu curry was okish… curry ramen was super delicious. I’m a fan of food at this place. Staff is humble and polite. Tried Edamame bowl as well.

Mizu has seen a bit of a drop in quality this past year. The noodles in the satay ramen have been changed to thinner noodles which tend to be over cooked and absorb too much sauce. I’ve ordered this 3 times now since the noodles has changed and it has disappointed me each time. However, the other dishes I regularly order are delicious, well priced and generously portioned. The teriyaki tofu is amazing. Impressed by their skills to deep fry silken tofu!

Hands down best noodle bar around! Ironically I didn't have the noodles and had beef in black bean with rice...but honestly sooo good! Go there now! But only if you are happy to eat and go...probably isn't really a restaurant you would go to for a whole night out - but don't let that put you off...eat your noodles and head to the pub to continue your evening ... simples! Oh and get the ribs...you won't be disappointed

I have eaten here before. So I tried a takeaway not expecting it to be as good. It was just as good got lots so had it 2 days in a row and the second day was just as good as the first..keep up the good work.

Hadn’t been here for a while so thought we’d give it a go again. Not impressed unfortunately. The ribs, which I had fond memories of being juicy and tender, were dry and chewy as anything. The main pork and rice dish was quite flavourless and there didn’t seem as much pork in the dish as I remember. Yet another place that seems to have lost its way a tad.

We went with friends to enjoy our evening meal. We have enjoyed many meals here in the past. I’m afraid the food standard has dropped in this instance. The meat was not freshly cooked so all in all very disappointed.

Came here for the first time yesterday and i was not disappointed, staff were lovely and helpful we were seated straight away. A large selection to chose from with dishes at very good prices. I got the Yaki Soba and it was the most wonderful dish i’ve ever had, brilliant portion sizes. Staff brought our food out very quickly. A wonderful experience i would recommend going here for a reasonable priced delicious meal. Thank you to all the staff

The service was very friendly. There was no problem finding a place for two at about 5pm on a Friday. Mizu is very convenient if you are going to King Street Cinema. One of us ordered the Phad Thai, which was very good. The other is coeliac so was given a gluten free menu. The menu is ‘free from’, catering for all ‘allergies’, and gives very limited choice. We appreciate the effort to provide a separate menu. However, the GF menu could be much better given the extensive main menu. The special rice on the free from menu was good but a little bland. It would be good to see the main menu adapted (with care) to offer some spicier GF options. And perhaps a GF condiment such as tamari. Though the main menu was very good we won’t return unless there is improvement in the GF menu.

Had a delivery for nine people. This was on time and portions were generous. However, the chicken in my black bean sauce and rice tasted synthetic? Couldn’t eat any more after the first piece. A vegetarian dish was also discarded after 1 mouthful as apparently ‘too ginger’. Nobody really rated their meals unfortunately.

Ordered food by phone at 11.30am & was told to pick up order at 12.20pm. We had a large order as it was for everyone In my office at work. No incorrect dishes & food was hot & tasty. No complaints from anyone. Well done Mizu we will definitely be returning

Updating to 5* after second visit :) Ordered Gyoza which obviously was our favorite first time, then the Singapore vermicelli, spare ribs & chicken noodles from kids menu. Good food and quick service in a small beautiful setting! We walked in on a Thursday afternoon with just 10-12min before the last order, and were the only ones in the restaurant. Looked like we weren't welcomed 😀 Ordered Chicken Satay, Prawn Curry and chilli chicken Ramen. Got chicken fried Gyoza instead of chicken satay, think there was some confusion. But the Gyoza turned out to be the best dish for us, crunchy with delicious and flavorful stuffing. Chilli chicken ramen was good too, but prawn Curry was bit of a disappointment. Curry was bit overpowered, my Indian taste buds didn't quite like it.

This was one of my favourite restaurants however the quality of food is not what it was. Seems they are buying cheaper ingredients to keep the costs down. Hopefully they will address this and get back on track.

Been here many times, normally great tucker. Menu has changed slightly & some previous dishes now unavailable.. could be cost prohibitive I guess.. anyway I would recommend still but my latest visit was not upto the usual expectations. I'll try again though.. Happy days 😊

Why have you taken belly pork off the menu? I've been eating that dish for 20 years and always looked forward to coming back to Ipswich to have it. Its such a shame!

We've been regular to Mizu over the years. Never disappointed, good size portions and always tasty. A consistent favourite is the Curry Mee soup noodles but can't fault any other dishes either

Will never go back here. I've been here several times over the years. The food was always gorgeous, fresh & tasty. The food I've eaten today was none of these things. 1st off I ordered a coke, as soon as it came I could see it wasn't fizzy. Absolutely no bubbles whatsoever. But I had a taste, it was awful. I ended up with a glass of water, as this was the better option. Our food came out very quick, infact way too quick. Myself & my friend both ordered the mixed meat with rice. The meat certainly hadn't just been cooked to order. It was luke warm at best. I asked the waiter if I could have freshly cooked meat. When the 2nd plate arrived it was a bit warmer. But the meat didn't taste right. Its a real shame, as I remember the meat being really nice. The duck was crisp. I'm pretty sure this meat had been frozen & then reheated. I couldn't be bothered to complain again. But I didn't finish my dish. I'm not too sure what has happened, I'm guessing the restaurant has been taken over by new people. But I certainly won't be returning.

After ordering from this place for over a decade, I know my Misu. I first had a meal there in 2003. Today I ordered and I was shocked it was for pretty poor! What is going on? Change of hands maybe or a new chef or an off night. Time will tell.

It was EPIC by far the BEST Asian restaurant I have come across to date- other than being in Asia itself! Honestly so beyond excited to have somewhere local to really embrace and enjoy their service and food, we ordered a main each and also LOADS of sides because we wanted to try everything! We took the leftovers home, it was ALL absolutely amazing the staff also couldnt do enough to make the experience top notch! Thank you and I shall be a regular! X

We visited with another family before going to the theatre. 2 adults and 4 children. 1 child vegetarian, asked for the vegetable ramen as a child’s portion. Then shown the childrens menu, explained there was no vegetarian option. Again told yes, this is the childrens menu. Asked for a child’s vegetarian option or please could we have the vegetable ramen as a child’s portion. Was told, the computer wouldn’t give the option! She ended up with chicken and sweetcorn ramen without the chicken- no they couldn’t replace with tofu, the computer wouldn’t let them. Had we not been going to the theatre we would not have stayed. Disappointing that their flexibility was non existent. Nor that a child’s vegetarian option was available in the first place. We have visited many times before but unfortunately won’t be visiting again.

We walked in for dinner on a cold windy evening. The team were fantastic. We were shown our seats and served at great speed so we made it to the theatre in time. The crispy duck was very good. The fact that it was quite busy was enough to reassure us that it would be a good place to eat.

I used to go here for a Ramen Soup with pork and a range of toppings. This time around the menu was changed and those options were not available. I ordered a seafood ramen which was not good. Horrible squid - chewy and tasteless. I wish I'd been able to order my old favourite that brought me to this eatery again and again. Disappointed.

We've been coming to Mizu for couple of years now. Unfortunately we're quite boring with our orders. always going for prawns for starter and ramen or Tom yum soup. Portions are always big, veggies fresh and broth making us feel so cosy. I wasnt sure about communal tables at first but it doesn't really take away from experience.

Great find , tucked away in the Cornhill. Great noodle bar. Very extensive menu and food very tasty and flavoursome. Good efficient service, made us feel very welcome. The plates were full. Certainly return when back in Ipswich.

Ordered take away, usually very good. However on this occasion it was the opposite. Beef in one dish had an odd test, like meat was old. The chicken seem to be of very much the same. Off white with bone. And noodles only half flavoured....

Called in today and was actually told off by staff for commenting that we'd waited 30 minutes for our lunch to arrive. I was actually taken aback by the rudest service I have ever had. They were busy apparently! Food was flavourless.

I have been going to Mizu for around 10 years. I used to be super fussy so plain noodles for me with no onion which the staff were more than happy to accommodate. I now branch out to more things however me and my mum get mainly the same two dishes each time and share them. I can never fault anything about my food and experience at Mizu. I love it and my favourite dishes are 43V (Veggie Satay Ramen) and 59 (Sesame Chicken). We have recently started ordering our chinese take out food from here as well as we were let down so many times by another popular chinese restaurant in town. The prices are great for the amount you get and you are able to try different dishes if you dont mind sharing with another person. I would highly recommend esp if you are looking for quick service. The only thing I don't like is the sharing of the benches because if someone is wiggling their legs the whole bench moves however this happens a lot less frequently than you would think and I HATE unnecessary movement and fidgeting. Anyway I love this place and you should too.
