Food was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. We filled up on starters and duck so weren't able to fit in mains. Even though they didn't have to, discounted the bill as we didn't get mains. Would 100% recommend

Don't bother using the order in advance option for takeaway on their website! Ordered a takeaway at 17.30 for delivery at 8pm, I called them at 8.25pm to find out that the food wasn't even cooked yet and to be told that the reason is that the restaurant is busy. Basically if you aren't sat in the restaurant they don't care about you which I think is disgusting. Also if you order through their website I expect to be informed that it is actually going to be delivered by a deliveroo rider because if I had known this then I wouldn't have ordered from them due to an order turning up cold because the guy was on a push bike.

Was absolutely incredible, a table of 10 people, we all left absolutely stuffed, and all saying we would come again, service was fantastic and I will absolutely be recommending to everyone I can!

We went for my daughter’s birthday and we were greeted like old friends, staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. I am vegetarian and they suggested different things I could have. The food was delicious and plenty of it. We will definitely be going again.

Very good meal and incredible service! Food very tasty. Just one thing though, please think about putting your koi fish into a bigger tank or rehoming them to someone who has a large pond (I'd be very happy to take them in to my big pond!) it just makes me so sad to see so many beautiful fish in such a small tank.

We were visiting the area and fancied a Chinese buffet meal this evening . Looking at Trip advisor reviews My Chinese seemed a good option. We were not disappointed. Was a huge choice - we had 4 courses but could have had 5! All for the cost of just £23-50 per person. Each course was cooked as we ordered so everything was really fresh and tasty and portions were generous. Every member of staff was extremely helpful, polite , attentive and friendly and our whole meal experience was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. Would totally recommend ! 🤩

Last minute decision and managed to fit in five of us. Service was friendly and food very nice. We ate plenty and was offered more.

Amazing experience, went for my birthday dinner and they were so lovely and helpful. They even brought me ice cream and sang me happy birthday. Defo will be coming back, such kind staff.

Fantastic meal with lovely service.

Went with family on a saturday night. Restaraunt waa quiet to start but became decently filled after a little while. Menu has plenty of choice and dishes came out quite quickly. Staff were great, one dish came out as beef not chicken but they sorted this immediately. Great dining experience.

Once again, we have thoroughly enjoyed our meal at My Chinese Restaurant. Every dish was cooked to perfection and served fresh to our table, the knowledgeable waitresses were able to advise us on how much and which dishes to order and the atmosphere was as pleasant as ever. Thank you to Zoe and your wonderful team. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The best Chinese in ipswich without a doubt

Actually chose this restaurant following the negative review posted about the honey roast pork because it looked so delicious… and it is! Wasn’t dry at all. All the food came hot and packed to the brim. I ordered a curry sauce but put a request in to change it to hoisin as you can’t order it separately on Deliveroo and they happy obliged! The hot and spicy beef actually has a kick to it, the chips are crispy and not soggy. Zero complaints from me!
