Mister Wing in Ipswich

I love this place. The staff are amazing and the food is amazing. I definitely recommend booking a table in advance as this due to the size of the restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal here today, all freshly cooked and being an awkward vegetarian there were many things for me as well as some excellent suggestions. There is a lovely vibe in the restaurant and the staff are amazing. Perfect!

Went last night. Really disappointing. 4 lettace leaves for three of us (chicken in lettace). Same for duck wraps. Don’t know if they have changed chef. Really poor. 100 pound wasted. Don’t bother

Ate here late night for the first time, wanted to try this place for ages and finally did. Did not disappoint! Lovely food and service and reasonably priced too.

I came here for dinner before going to see diversity in the regent theatre, the staff were really friendly, and helpful, the food was incredible, definitely would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

A fantastic chinese experience! The food was cooked to order, great for couples, friends and family! The food was full of flavour and did not skimp on quantity! 100% recommend if you are intending going for food before seeing a show at the theatre! Definitely returning and my friends have never tasted food like this before and was in food heaven! 😋😋

What a lovely restaurant. Buffet menu, which you order from the menu and served at your table, as opposed to help yourself Buffet....much nicer. Food was top class, very tasty. Staff were really friendly, suggested food to order, giving us a wider selection and the chance to try different dishes. Nothing was too much trouble. Place was spotlessly clean. First time we have been but definitely not the last. Need to book ahead on theatre show nights, as its very popular and next door to the Regent theatre but well worth the wait.

Love Mr Wings, I'm Celiac so it's great that they have food especially Gluten free that I can eat. Nothing is too much trouble. Actually booked in on my birthday to go with a party of 10 family members.

I went here recently for my birthday and there was 10 of us. The food was cooked to order, the waiter was brilliant and the service was amazing. I had a special birthday 'gift' from the waiter ... banana fritter and a happy birthday song which made me laugh so much and the restaurant joined in. Made it a laugh and special. Would go again.

Delivery 40 minutes late, stone cold and wouldn't answer the phone. Extremely expensive for a cold Chinese and rude delivery men

But as for the restaurant not so good.... need of renovation comes to mind, marks all over the wall dents ect, I do judge places by there decor and hygiene. Going to the toilet is like a health risk in its self, In the Ladies NONE of the toilets flushed floor filthy stained no hand towel, Mens loo well ive seen cleaner truck stops!!! Wee bleached floors no toilet roll no hand towel. This is after walking past a stock room/dump corridor. And after all that advertising states £26 per head then charged £27?? On a large table of people that's not a bad profit!!!! Over a night must work out nicely for them. So sadly I will not be returning or recommending Mr Wings.

Great as always! Service was amazing and the food was incredible. Never had a bad sitting at Mr Wings. Recommend coming here as a couple, with family or even in groups, They cater for all, you won't be disappointed!

A group of four arrived without a booking as we were attending a concert next door in the Regent Theatre- we were told there were no tables available- fair enough- as we left the maitre de came out into the street enquired if we were going to the show next door - yes - he then said he could accommodate us as we were going to be quick Win win - we were fed and he got four more covers and made another £170. Well done great customer service and good food We left there very satisfied and enjoyed our concert - Wet Wet Wet and Go West We will book next time to be on the safe side. 5 star without doubt

Had a great time celebrating our works Christmas party. We all really enjoyed ourselves, the food was excellent & the service outstanding, can't wait to come again 😀

If I had gone to eat there, I would probably have given them five stars. But I didn't go to eat, I went to collect a takeaway. I ordered and paid online but when I went it wasn't ready. No big deal you think, just wait like in all the other takeaways. Trouble is, they don't have a waiting area. They suggested I sit at a table in the restaurant and wait, so I did, for the next ten to fifteen minutes. But the restaurant was full of eating in customers, I was the only person waiting and watching a hundred others eat their meals. Dressed like a building site labourer I felt like a right sore thumb, I was hungry and being tortured by having to smell and see everyone else eating theirs. I won't be getting a takeaway from them again, which is a shame because the food was really good. Next time we will either eat in the restaurant or get a takeaway somewhere else.

The restaurant was a little busy and noisy given it was a Saturday night but the food more than makes up for a little noise! Lol A great time was had by all and we will return again soon!

An excellent night out. Food was amazing as always and full of variety. 2x birthdays which from an atmosphere point of view made it fun (those that know, know!) Staff were exceptional and attentive as well and the chefs are amazing. We had 27 in our group and had opted for the buffet we just asked for variety and to keep it coming which they did. A brilliant, tasty, funny and engaged night out. Well done Mister Wing!

Went out for my sons birthday, group of six adults and one child, the food was amazing and the service impeccable ! We’ve booked to go back already ! Absolutely beautiful food, best Chinese I’ve had in years !!! Excellent value for money to !!!

We have been to this restaurant many times and always been happy which is why we have gone back. However, on this occasion the crispy duck was very dry and the beef very chewy. We mentioned it to the staff but they did not comment. We paid the bill and left

We hired the whole restaurant out for a work social event with 66 of us having the all you can eat buffet. The food was as lovely as always & we were brought out a huge range to cater to us all. The staff were excellent too & were attentive to some of us who had dietary restrictions. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire out the restaurant in this way again - thanks from all at Fred Olsen Social Club!

This is the best Chinese, cannot find anything to top this restaurant. Love that they cook fresh to order and you can have lots of dishes rather than just having to choose one dish. the pinapple and cashew rice is the best. Staff are amazing as well.

Four of us went last night after a show and although they were extremely busy they accommodated us the drink and food came very quickly with a nice touch the owner bought us some taster dishes all of the food was of an exceedingly quality delivered by excellent staff

They got us in last minute for my daughters 16th birthday, we hadn’t been before but was recommended. The food was lovely they made my daughters birthday special and couldn’t do enough for us all. Highly recommend and will be going back.

It's mister wings it's always amazing here the staff make you feel like royalty and the feed is possibly the best Chinese in Suffolk. If your thinking of trying this place out stop thinking and book a table you won't be disappointed.

A delightfully quaint location on the edge of Ipswich Town centre. The food is absolutely delicious! Not too salty. Not too oily. Everything is prepared fresh, and to order. In the few years I have been coming here the quality has never dropped. The buffet is perfect for those attending with others, as all dishes can be shared between the party. If you enjoy Asian cuisine, quality food, a nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices, then this is the place for you!

Man never noticed when I go to restaurant and eat in but the takeaway we got was so salty it was difficult to finish.

Great fresh food. Like an all you can eat buffet, but every dish freshly cooked. Ate too much of course. Will be back soon.

Was a bit of a tight squeeze due to a pram which is no fault of the business, they tried their best to accommodate our requirements which they did. The staff were extremely friendly and kind, you can really tell they enjoy their jobs. A great evening with very welcoming hosts.

Possibly the best Chinese meal I’ve ever had

The family always gather for a family meal here and once again always the best Chinese about food is always cooked to perfection the service is always spot on it was very busy had to wait a little while for food and drinks but that’s understandable being Xmas we visit this place at least 2 to 3 times a year and never had a bad time excellent Chinese

My boyfriend and I went for an early 5pm meal. We were surprised to see how busy it already was at that time! Busy, but not overly busy to the point you can't relax. By 17:08 we had our first dish and drinks had already been delivered. The food is really very tasty and much better than you would get in the self service chinese buffets that are around in town. Service was excellent, we weren't waiting long for any of our dishes or drinks. Also, the price for what you get is very reasonable, slightly more expensive than the self service buffets but worth it!

Choice of 80 items from an "all you can eat" menu, all cooked to order. The food and service were excellent. Will definitely come back next time we are in Ipswich.

Best Chinese and service in the town

2nd vist,the food gets better everytime,very friedly,very clean,very good waiters,they chose our menu and it was fabulas, i would recamend this resurant to anyone who enjoys fabulas chinese food.

We have been coming to Mister Wings for a few years now and without fail it has always been very good. I find the starters to be the best part with the crispy duck pancakes! I would recommend booking in advance for a larger party as they get booked up fast. All the waiters and waitresses are very efficient and friendly. We will of course be returning.

Been ordering from here for years, don’t know what’s gone wrong starting a few months back either a change of chef or supplier. Chicken is now always chewy / tough and inedible and the flavour has gone from the curry. Gave them a few more goes thinking it would be a one off but it’s consistently bad now. It’s always been on the expensive side but don’t mind that for what used to be restaurant quality food. No idea what happened but it’s a shame and will be my last order sadly.

Today I ordered from Mister Wing unfortunately, my experience was not a good one. The food arrived luke warm, which was disappointing, and the chilli and pepper prawns were chewy and not at all enjoyable. The taste of the dishes was very bland, and overall I was left feeling underwhelmed with my meal. While the delivery arrived on time and the delivery person was polite, the quality of the food was not up to par. I hope that the restaurant can improve their food quality and ensure that dishes are delivered at the appropriate temperature. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mister Wing at this time 😞

Absolutely amazing food! Best Chinese I’ve ever been too, I want to go again already, the only thing that really put me off is that we couldn’t take away the food that we had left over on the table as this just went in the bin anyway just felt like a massive waste

My second review of this superb restaurant. The first review was based on eating in. Tonight we had food delivered. We ordered chicken chow main, chicken and pineapple, chilli beef, Satay chicken on skewers, plain rice and prawn crackers. The food, once again, was perfect. The chilli beef, although not as saucy as from our ‘normal’ Chinese takeaway, was delicious. Well flavoured, perfect crispy, not overly powerful with chilli. The chow mein was superb, the rice, fresh and sticky, the satay chicken was perfect and the chicken and pineapple was very tasty. I used to have it when I was younger and I’ve not ordered it from anywhere for a long time. It was a good decision to order it from here tonight. The food was delivered on time according to the countdown on the website, and when it did, it was fresh and hot. We will definitely be ordering from here again and I will be encouraging my friends and family around Ipswich to do the same. Thanks again. Have a brilliant weekend!

Been going here for our Chinese for years now. Plenty of take aways and dined in a few times too. The owner is a great guy and his team do a great job. Food is always top.

Couldn't fault it one bit. Came here for a party of 11 and they catered very well. Catered for the child with us and done different foods without sauces on for him. The food was brilliant more than enough for everyone. Mixed Hors d'oeuvres, followed by a duck and pancake course. Then onto main dishes. It was brilliant and I can't wait to come back.

Beautifully decorated inside with very welcoming atmosphere . We had to use a bac way access as I use a wheelchair where staff were extremely helpful. We were led to a lovely little table and waiting staff bought us the drinks menu and food menus...

Awful,order placed fortakeaway,not ready when we went to collect it.Waited 20 mins for it to be done. Restaurant fairly busy. Finally got home to eat and everything was lovely apart from the special fried rice. Would not order from there again.

Delicious! I had a delivery from Mister Wings today and it was a change from our usual Chinese. Glad we made the change as the food was exceptional. I'm Gluten-free so ordering can be tricky but the guy on the phone was knowable and helpful. The food arrived on time, was fresh, hot and without MSG which is hard to find. I was left feeling like I had had a healthy home cooked meal and will definitely be returning soon!

Do they even fry their egg fried rice? Literally just looks like boiled rice with little bits of egg. No soy sauce or flavour. Sweet & sour chicken balls were tiny too, definitely wouldn’t say you get what you pay for

Great little Chinese restaurant the staff are always awesome here very friendly and the food is always nice . Never leave without a full belly which is everything you want from a restaurant.

I have a severe nut allergy and when I notified staff of this, they made sure that all of my food was cooked separately from an food that could cross-contaminate. I had a member of staff check with me for the starter and the main course. Thank you for your amazing service. 10/10 would go again.
