Quick service, tasty food and friendly owners. Cash only but there is an ATM in the Co-op just across the road, so not to worry. I would order again!

Staff where extremely friendly and sweet, food was made fresh and and quickly, atmosphere of the place was cute, and the food was amazing! The best Chinese food I've ever had in my life! It was so fresh and flavourful and very cheap, £10 for a very generous portion on chicken chow Mein and salt and pepper chicken, £5 for each item. 10/10 recomed and will be going back.

Not the best front of house , go beyond that to find the food was great and excellent value, I think this is the best in town, only downside is only open friday, Saturday and sundays.

Always our first choice for Chinese. The Singapore noodles are excellent and the kids love the chow Meiji dishes and sweet & sour chicken balls. The owners are always friendly and welcoming when we visit.

Ordered food here a few weeks ago wasn't impressed, vowed I'd never eat from here again, but of course I did. Went back tonight and the food was ridiculous good!! So much flavour and everything tasted fresh. Eaten Chinese in many parts of the world but what I had tonight has gotta one of the best. Thankyo

Great place. Not your typical Chinese. The duck chow main is soooo good and the gentlemen who serves front of house is a lovely guy. Always very friendly

We’ve been visiting often for the last 15 years and the Evergreen remains our first choice for Chinese food in the area. Chicken Chow Mein is tasty (and plentiful) as are the Singapore Noodles. The kids enjoy the Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls. Service always friendly and prompt.

Been coming here for 20+ years and can be hit and miss at times but love it. The meal is more than enough for 2/3 and the prawn toast is out of this world.

I'll start by saying lovely staff and good prices, however, this review is based on the food - the dishes we ordered were so watered down; sweet and sour balls, yellow bean veggies and bbq pork with beansprouts - there was no flavour and it was just like murky water. The sweet and sour sauce was horrible, just tasted like pineapple and was so thin and watery, plus, had big chunks of canned pineapple in it. The chicken balls were MASSIVE... so if you want a large portion of them with a horrible dipping sauce, they're the best place in town.... I really would not suggest.

I love this place it’s my go to first choice for premium food. They are so friendly they know me by first name and always go the extra mile. Food is absolutely fantastic full of flavour and so much choice. Good value for money too.

Typical Chinese take away, friendly staff and the food is good. Ideal if you are visiting the fat cat pub over the road.

Awful. This used to be good. The starter option used to be very good. Tonight the Won Tons in it were frazzled near burnt, and the crispy seaweed was chewy and largely inedible. Main course - The king prawns fell out of the bag in a slimey mass held together by the uncooked dough. We had to bake them in the oven. The cashew and pineapple rice had a crust. Yes, a crust - with the canned pineapple ring segments and cashews sprinkled on top. How long had it sat in its aluminium tub awaiting some topping? God knows. The beef was grey, tepid and just grim. What's happened to this place? Avoid.

Been using evergreen for over twenty years and will continue to use it. The meal for one can feed three people. Don't be put off by the decor the food is amazing.

I absolutely love coming here to get my Chinese food, excellent service and always greeted with a friendly smile. The food is absolutely fantastic and they are very fast and accurate.

Order here all the time for chinses. much better than the other locals. Portion size is excellent and speedy. menu can be confusing soo many dishes. Defiantly a must try

Well, service was pretty friendly. However the food wasn't what we'd hoped for. It was reasonably tasty, but in a "this is what Chinese was like in the 80's" kind of way. I've never seen Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls so big. No lie, they were bigger than tennis balls. On the plus side they did deliver it across the road to the pub.

Pancake/spring rolls are massive. Have to admit to having menu envy sometimes, when I've got myself a Curry from Cinnamon and mates have got a Chinese from here whilst we're in the fat cat.

Good food great custom and reasonably priced.

A regular treat... Tasty & fresh, I recommend 'Crispy Shredded Beef' The portion size is huge (easily feed two people) They don't deliver however it's a nice little walk on a nice day...
