The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Newark and Sherwood East Midlands

The food is always hot, fresh, and packed with flavour. The menu offers a great variety, and every dish we've tried has been top-notch, my all time favourite being the chicken in Palembang. Fast service, friendly staff, and generous portions make this place a true gem. I highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing food, quite often we will order based on quickest delivery but the fact that I have to collect here and still order regular is a testiment as to how good it is!

There was a time when we would always get our Chinese take out from KaHo but I’m afraid for the price there are better places to get food from. Their Singapore noodles are lovely but ribs are not the best. They are a little more expensive than others in the area sadly

First trip here on Friday night. We had the all you can eat buffet. The food was nice and very plentiful. We always have way too many starters and are full before the main but this time we had to finish the main. As it was mint. The Singapore vermicelli was beaut, as was the honey roast pork. The salt and chilli deep fried baby sweetcorn was the best. Staff were great we will come again.

We recently had a takeaway from here for daughters birthday. Pleasant entrance and friendly staff both on the phone and at the counter. Sign saying phone orders only, you can pay by credit card. We had a large order with several dishes. Most were really good, the crispy aromatic duck wasn't quite crispy enough for me but the sweet and sour chicken in batter were excellent. Will use again.

Definitely the best Indian around

After reading a few negative reviews we were unsure whether to visit. However, after a days racing in York we returned to newark and decided to see for ourselves. We weren’t booked but were welcomed and shown to a table, there were plenty of other diners and the atmosphere was good. We opted for a set meal, all of which was excellent. Great service from young, pleasant staff made for a very enjoyable experience. We will no doubt be visiting again in the near future.

Great food and brilliant value on the lunch menu on a Sunday. Would recommend visiting, especially on Sunday lunchtime given the value for money.

My lord what’s happened to this restaurant? This place use to serve fantastic Chinese food. Last order I had I thought maybe it’s a one off poor meal, tired it again today and it’s even worse!! Stone cold food, the spring rolls dripping in grease, no taste at all the the salt and pepper prawns and chicken and the Thai red curry was like eating Thai red soup it was that runny. Also the prices have gone through the roof!! This same meal cost is £33 roughly before, not £40 odd. I know a lot of people in witham the near by village used to eat here and now don’t, now I can see why. Poor and won’t return.

Awful, tasteless and virtually meatless! OK if you like cold noodles as a main chow mein, & uncooked anaemic spring rolls! Avoid - don't waste your hard earned cash on this garbage, as this is where most of it went - in the garbage!
