An amazing restaurant. i’m employed their and boss and staff are very friendly and nice. Highly recommend to anyone. Great restaurant amazing service

Never had such a poor experience. Waiting 1 1/2 hour for delivery. Shameful. Rung up 6 times and they r full ov excuses Shocking Never again Offered money off. Not bothered. Just wanted a proper service

Honestly one of the best Chineses in the area would 110% recommend this place for anyone who wants quick and efficient delivery’s looked around and it also happens to be the cheapest in the area.

Been going down hill for a while in my opinion but our last meal made my mind up that I will never go again .....chips were rubbery and tasteless the bbq chicken wings we didn't dare eat they looked slimey n not very appertising ... couldn't taste the sweet n sour chicken n prawn apart from the sauce the actual chicken n prawn tasted exactly the same of nothing .... Don't bother wasting your hard earned money on this overpriced rubbish 😒

We had a great takeaway for 9 from Yumsing whilst staying locally for the weekend. The food was delicious, hot and quickly prepared. Would definitely recommend.

So i ordered my food around 10 past 6 a tray of rice and some rolls, half 7 rolls around and i still dont have my food, i ring "itll be another 30 minutes, i ring again at 8, itll be with you soon, 20 past 8 finally rolls around and i get my cold, soggy food, the rice wasnt bad, the spring rolls were the most vile thing ive tasted, but theyve forgot my drinks, in total i waited over 2 hours for a tray of rice and some rolls, despite them being a 2 minuite drive from me No apology Nothing to make it right Very bad experience from this place I heard good things about this place and i have to say i was very disappointed will not be ordering from here again

Stoggy rice curry with no taste rib's awful Chow mein bland no chicken,,. But worst of all is the young lady on the counter . Dropping my change into my hand no thanks or anything. Will never return.

All methods of communication have veen removed we ordered at 4.30 and are still waiting at 8.40. Ridiculous service will not be using again.

I would highly recommend this Chinese to anyone visiting the area, all dishes full of taste and flavour and given best experience by the staff 10/10

This is possibly the best chinese i have ever had. I would highly recommend to everyone. The chicken balls are incredible, the chow mein has so much flavour. The delivery was fast and the service was amazing

Normally we're order China Moon food was just OK but too expensive. So we're try Yumsing Chinese after new own and have preferred it. because they do offer for NHS workers👍👍👍No other shop in Edwinstowe does this. However Food was delicious and very hot. Prawn crackers were particularly good as far as prawn crackers go.Salt& Pepper Munchy box and Noodles were beautiful. Crisy shredded beef soy sauce was different before but actually prefer . Only problem delivery time a little bit long.Due to high demand delivery times can be longer than I like it to be.

We tried a change as you never know. The crispy beef was delicious as were the salt and pepper chips. The sweet and sour sauce however was not pleasant, runny and pale and the salt and pepper chicken not as good as our regular.We found the portion size average and we are puzzled by all the massive portion comments? We are not big eaters by the way but because of the plastic packaging you can only get a reasonable amount of food in? Not the best in the village but taste is unique and that’s what makes the world go round. The girl on the phone was a little abrupt which surprised us but maybe she was having an hard day. I didn’t like all the plastic used. Bad for the planet and it made the food soggy.

Visited here as was highly recommend, food best I've ever tasted and such a lot for price charged. Staff were great and patient whilst I decided on what I wanted ... Have read previous reviews and have to totally disagree with the negative ones, This is definatly worth a visit.

DO NOT GO IF YOU HAVE A BOWEL DISEASED!!!!!! Definitely not a place for you. Absolutely disgusting IF YOU LIKE GETTING SPOKEN YOU LIKE S**t well this is the place for you! 2 members of staff I spoken to and what a disgrace they was, I believe one was called SHANE!, Not sure of the lady’s name They lack if costumer care skills and definitely need more training in this area.

Best chinese in the village for me. Always on point with our orders. Food always very good and not swimming in oil which rare for a chinese takeaway these days.

Good size portions and very tasty and quite possibly one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had definitely worth a try

I must admit that since this great Chinese takeaway has changed ownership it’s definitely started to go downhill. Orders taking well over an hour and customer service not great.

The staff were so lovely when ordering our food, delivered ered hot and on time, highly recommend the sweet chilli and soy crispy shredded beef! One of my favourite chineses!

Service was terrible food was even worse went to collect and they had missed the ribs we had ordered and was told it was my fault not theirswaited another ten minutes for them to be cooked got home and they had put Crispy beef in not ribs the food was horrible waste of time and money definitely wouldnt recommend

As an Edwinstowe family we have for many years regularly enjoyed a take away from the family owned Yumsing which had excellent food quality with good value for money, friendly service and changes to set menus able to be made with no extra charge.Sadly Yumsing changed ownership in summer 2019, and although local friends had warned us that the quality was not as good we tried to try it for ourselves. We are really sad that we no longer have the local Chinese take away that we loved. The food was not as flavoursome and the spring rolls which were minute in the starter selection had NO filling in! The ribs were of inferior quality and we had to pay 50p for any change made to the set menu which we would have accepted if the food quality had been good but it wasn’t. We wish the previous owners happiness and are sorry that we were unable to say goodbye and thank them for their many years of lovely good quality, generous portion Chinese food. We now have no idea where to go for Chinese take away in future.

Found this Chinese while staying at Sherwood Forest Youth Hostel. It is under new management. Decent food, reasonably priced and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Would recommend.

Just read it is under new management. I’ll be honest it’s a shame as I loved the menu before, the chicken curry is different - not unpleasant but not the same as previous owners.... not sure..Will other food be the same? Personally upset as I loved the food from there before.

Always pleased with my food form Yum Sing. Robert the owner and chef always friendly and up for a chat when I call.

As the itle, the place does not look slick, a bit basic but it's clean inside, service prompt, food is typical Chinese but that's not to say it's ok, it's quite good and we'd use again, reasonable quality and good value.

We thought we would venture out to the local village for a Chinese. Chicken schezuan was very bland, no spice. Chips re cooked sweet and sour very bland no pineapple taste. Whilst eatable, we enjoyed it but wasn't the best authentic Chinese.

This take away is a top class gem, the food is simply excellent, and we have tried many different Chinese take aways, the Yum Sing blow them away. The service is polite, recommendations good and quality of the food excellent, all the dished have their own unique taste and taste fresh. Our friend visiting Edwinstowe still talk about it and cannot wait for their return visit. The prices are very reasonable too. This is family run takeaway with attention on the food taste, not had a poor experience yet and returned many times with both small and large orders, always great food.

We hadn't been here for a while. Last time, the food was very bland, no taste, no flavour. This time, our regular was closed, so we went along to Yum Sing. Surely it had improved?? No. It hadn't. Food still the worst Chinese we have ever had. Cold waiting room, non smiling worker. We took our food home, fired up the wok, added fresh garlic and various chinese sauces and made it edible. It does not make sense to pay for food that we can cook better. Wont be back.

We were staying at Centreparcs, didn't want to cook nor eat out so 'googled' for a takeaway.

We have been using this Cantonese take away for at least 10 years and have yet to have a bad meal. Their egg fried rice is always fresh and "fluffy"and the prawn crackers crisp.

We ordered quite a few things of the menu and collected it..the food was hot and so tasty...we'll worth a visit.

The exterior and interior of the property are basic to say the least however its clean tidy and functional .
