The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Lincoln East Midlands

This is the best Chinese takeaway we have found in the nearby area. For quite a while we had stopped ordering Chinese food as nowhere was very good but quite a while back now we tried this place and absolutely love it. The service is always great and the lady that usually answers the phone is lovely. The food is always delicious and arrives piping hot (despite not being super close).

I tried to call to place an order for a delicious chicken chow mein but the person on the phone was not responding and just hanging up. I felt mentally harassed because I couldn't get my chow mein. I heavily suggest you fire whoever was running the phone from 7-10 o'clock on the 7/2/25

Food was lovely as usual apart from they sent plain boiled rice instead of the egg fried rice that I ordered.

Best Chinese takeaway in Lincoln. We first ordered at the beginning of lockdown when everything else was closed. So pleased we did! The quality is amazing! Ordered from here about five times now and its always delicious! It's slightly more expensive than other takeaways, but for us totally worth it! Salt and pepper squid is amazing, as is the sweet and sour chicken... as are the ribs.. and the curry... I could go on! The quality of the meat is great. Will only order from here from now on.

We just popped in on the off chance and went with what was recommended. The inside looked really great, a mix of old and new and a fresh exciting place in Lincoln. The staff were really nice and helpful and these people are top of their game. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the food. I wish there were more stars to recommend this Chinese. We will definitely be back, I have already told everyone and a friend of ours is ordering a takeaway from their now. Word of advice, if you normally have the same old thing delivered then; eat in, try something different

Just had such a good takeaway this evening that I wanted to review the restaurant straight away. Really good quality food at a very reasonable price. The salt and pepper chicken is especially tasty and the prawn toast which was so fresh and had lots of whole prawns on top. Will definitely be ordering again!

We have been using New Sunflower for probably 30 years and have always had great food. Of late, we have always had the same mains (66 Sweet and Sour Chicken Hong Kong Style and 83 Mixed Meat Hot with King Do Sauce) delicious and recommended! I don't understand the 1 star ratings

Delicious food. Both my British boyfriend and I loved it. Especially the crispy tofu with salt and pepper was amazing.

The chicken was good. But the corn was so unbelievably stale that I was afraid to eat it.

Will possibly change my review as I heard amazing things about the food and the service and was desperate to try this place. However I went on Sunday the 22nd of December and it was 5.30pm and was closed despite saying it was open online. I can't really judge on anything but that was poor service in my mind
