We keep returning to this Chinese takeaway because the food is consistently of excellent quality. It's never greasy or overly salty, which sets it apart from others we've tried. Despite having closer options, its worth the trip for collection.

Ordered takeaway -kids sweet and sour balls with chips, mixed veg, BBQ ribs and chicken chow mein. All delicious and arrived exactly when expected. Very friendly over the phone and at the door. Cash on delivery only as they can't take card on the phone.

Everything I ordered was cold bar curry sauce and I spent £76 it took 2 hours to come they said 45-60mins not happy, would not recommend to anybody

Always good food, and delivered on time.

Always had good service from here but tonight they've sent chicken omelette instead of prawn. When we rang up, they said we had asked for chicken, I've never had a chicken omelette in my life so why would I ask for it!!!! Not impressed Lotus House 😠

Have been eating from here for years. Still the best in town! 6 Years after my first 5 star review, it's still our favourite. It's not even the closest to us, maybe five others closer. Thank you.

Links is far better! We decided to try it again after an awful meal last year. What an error! Extremely fatty non-descript 'gravy' sauce. Really quite grim!

First visit tonight and so far Mexican spicey spare ribs was excellent. My main I is Egg fried rice and sweet and sour pork. Absolutely delicious. Shall be returning.

not for me im afraid, chow mein has no taste and no sauce, rarely any meat just slithers with lots of carrots. the chicken and mushroom dish also no flavour and mushrooms looked old, the salt and pepper chips were so so salty i couldnt eat, was way to overpowering so didnt get the pepper taste, didnt get free spring rolls either for spending £30

Got late into Loncoln and missed restaurant in hotel so went looking for food.We came across this takeaway and just expected a bog standard meal as it is on main street. Lady was very polite and welcoming. Ordered a chicken curry meal and chicken sweet and sour balls.Took meal back to room to eat. The chicken curry had onion, peas, lots of chicken and curry. It was hot and really tasty. My usual chicken curry is basically a few pieces of chicken lots of onions and curry. This curry was balanced of food and really tasty. The chicken balls with a pot of sauce was lovely too, with a complimentary bag of prawn crackers. Would recommend.

Hate to be a Karen but will never eat here again, sweet and sour sauce was like syrup, dry chow mein, staff were friendly.

Oh my god, I love this place, the protection screen they have installed with an airlock for money exchanging is a great idea. Exceptional food at amazing prices.

Our regular chinese changed hands this year so we thought we try Lotus house and to our suprise its the best Chinese we've ever had only wish they did chicken satay on skewers like they do in Canterbury. All round amazing food.

Great food, good prices and fast + friendly service. We've tried most of the chinese takeaways in Lincoln over the past few years, and this our favourite restaurant in terms of quality and cost.

This is an amazing takeaway and they are always consistently good. They remember us by name even though we only get a Chinese every couple of months. Salt and spicy chips are amazing as is sweet chilli chicken.

Wonderful customer service, when I called to place my order. Answered all my enquiries due to friends in my company having certain allergies. The lady who served me answered my questions in a calm and pleasent manor. The food can best be described as total BLISS! For chinese food. I ordered duck spring rolls with Kung Po chicken and both dishes were delivered within 30 minutes, piping hot and bursting with amazing flavours. (and to have duck in the duck rolls was beyond exceptional) As I have had duck rolls from OTHER local chinese only to be stuffed with vegetables and beanshoots and little scraps of duck. Unlike Lotus House, this place served me crispy duck spring rolls with chilli sauce with plenty of duck. Including the Kung Po was divine, it was sweet and spicy on all the right levels heat and tangy tasting. I Would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, when I fancy chinese food again, Lotus House is the place to go!! :)

Extreme good service and great food

We had fabulous meals delivered for 10 people it was fast, hot and delicious, the staff were polite and friendly, thank you for calendars and extra crackers. Every one said how nice the food was thank you

Lovely staff, food is always delivered quickly and piping hot. It is reasonably priced comparing to other ones I ordered from. Highly recommend this place even though they don't have just eat or any form of ordering online which I think makes them lose out on many potential customers

The food here is great really enjoy the box meal in particular. The lady on the front desk is very friendly and always has a smile on her face.

We ordered from this Chinese as our usual place was closed and most others are poor quality, the food arrived promptly and was delicious, large containers. Very pleased with everything and will definitely be going back.

Best chinese place ive been to.

This was a take out which was delivered I had the duck and mixed veg which was delicious. The veg was nice and fresh and the duck was delicious nice golden chips too. Friendly person on the phone I would only use this place now my friend said the curry was great too thank you

Brilliant chinese food and the quickest delivery known to man.

We thought back at the beginning of February that we'd try here after doing the fortnightly shop at Aldi as it's down the road instead of our usual tale away. WOW! We know it only takes cash but the taste and portion sizes and really quick and friendly service just takes some beating. Great value for money or what?! It's now our regular even if it is further to go collect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
