Mowgli in Lincoln

Sublime experience quite simply! One thing I would like to say is that older reviews on here are not Lincoln branch either as the place only opened in summer 2024 so TripAdvisor get your facts right too! Well this place is a delight and the yoghurt bombs are exquisite and a piece of magic abs when you mix them with other elements on your plate it is some of the most delicious tastes you can imagine! A great experience and does feel very healthy rather than stodge and grease, too! All staff well trained in customer experience too...this I am afraid people is tge kind of atmosphere I like to eat out in...good vibes and lovely decor roo!

We came here for lunch on Saturday, they managed to fit us in last minute after being let down by another restaurant. The waitress was very polite and helpful with the menu. The food was absolutely divine! The restaurant is so pretty and full of twinkling lights; we can’t wait to return in the evening!

3rd time visiting Mowgli Lincoln. Love everything about it. The food is outstanding, my favourite is the chat bombs, to die for! The restaurant is so beautiful with all the twinkle lights and the service is spot on

Speedy delivery of decent curry! Well priced for the amount you get too. Bread was nice and fresh unlike some others.

Some dishes missing, wrong dish sent, hardly any chicken in the chicken curry. Some guests in the group had no meal as a result

Ordered via Deliveroo, stated 40 minutes wait time. As soon as order was placed, went to an hour After 80 minutes, tried calling twice, no answer. Deliveroo tried calling, no answer. Got a notification to say it had been despatched. Waited 30 minutes, still nothing. Finally got through on the phone, after a couple of calls later, still not arrived. Got offered a discount on the next order... What a joke Asked for a refund and they agreed and didn't deliver, logged with Deliveroo, waiting for a resolution...

I had checked on Mowgli website that the food was not halal, as we will not eat ritually killed meat. When we arrived to pick up the food, the place looked so dirty and dreary that I was concerned about food hygiene , then saw on the hardcopy menu that the meat I had ordered was halal. We just left at once.

The last takeaway was vile! And if they had dealt with it properly when I complained I wouldn’t have left a review! But they didn’t care less! Said they would refund me and then never did! When I say the meal was awful , I mean we all took one mouthful and decided for the best not to carry on as it would had made us ill! The taste was rancid!! It’s a shame as this is the third time ordering from here and the other two times were nothing to rave about but was easy to get delivered and was nice enough!

I have been going here for several years and have always been happy with everything Unfortunately on my last visit the standard of the food has really gone down the prices have increased by an extortionate amount I’m afraid I won’t be going back any more

Ordered a takeaway from here and the quality of food was excellent, staff very polite and obliging and ready to be collected within 20 mins, the flavours from all the dishes were spot on, we ordered a lamb bhuna, chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, vegetable biryani and a couple of nans , will be recording again soon

We highly recommend this establishment, we have never had any problems with staff and service and always great quality food. I would recommend this anyone who actually appreciate Indian cuisine. Definitely will be back at least twice a week.. and we told our patrons from the well known town centre pub that we own, that we highly recommend you.(tap and spile., Hungate) Thank you for the great service which was provided.

Wow.... we were looking for an Indian takeaway for our 40th wedding anniversary..... so glad we picked this one .... good portions, great tastes , fantastic starters and mains .... I had mixed kebab starter , my husband had prawn starter..... then I had lamb Bhuna garlic , my husband had tika chicken jalfrazi , ..... we had Bombay aloe and pilou rice ...... there was so much we had it again the next day ..... will definitely choose this takeaway again 👍🏻

We regularly order from here, the prices are very reasonable and we've never had a late delivery. The lamb pakoras are delicious.

Food was amazing! First time ordered from here and so pleased we did. Although the order was slightly late that was no problem due to the current climate. One of our dishes was a wrong and upon calling them, this was replaced in less than 10 minutes. Excellent and will be using all the time now.

The food arrived 25 minutes late on top of that it was cold. Opened it up to find a tiny portion size in a little container. Food was tasteless as well and for the money was ridiculously expensive considering the size. Not impressed.

Keema, excellent meal! Arrived bang on time! Good sized portions too! Tip fairly hot means hot! Will use again.

Myself and my girlfriend purchased a takeaway from here for our anniversary, since we couldn’t go to the restaurant we planned due to the lockdown. I called them in advance as I am vegan and dairy intolerant and needed some reassurance that they could accommodate my dietary needs, they said this was not an issue. Our food arrived, no cheese on my girlfriends “cheesy naan”. But, that was just the start. While eating my vegetable pathia, I found a chunk of chicken. I was quite obviously, outraged. This ruined the meal for me at least, I would not eat any more as I no longer held any trust. I called the restaurant and after some discussion asked for a full refund, they did agree to this. Then, I find out that they only refunded me for the pathia and not the entire meal. I do not advise anyone eat at this restaurant as there is an evident risk of contamination, particularly people with dietary restrictions. Equally, I have a moral dilemma with being fed a dead animal!

Lamb bhuna,,,where was the lamb? Oh ok ,maybe it was minute, but for the money we pay,we should expect more than under cooked onions,a bit of tomato and two tiny samosas that cost nearly 3 quid.what a scam. You can keep it.we won't ever be that desperate to go there again

Ordered a takeaway from Mowgli last night, felt extremely underwhelmed when it came. I found there were too many onions in the sauce and the sauce was way too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). There wasn't enough chicken, although the chicken itself was really tasty. 10/10 recommend the chips. But this is a Indian takeaway at the end of the day, I want the curry to taste good, not the chips. Will not be returning.

Small, cosy restaurant where we shared a large table with other diners. Great choice of food and all of us loved what we ordered. Good sized portions and very reasonably priced.

Picked up a takeaway and it was lovely,good quality of food ,we had chicken tikka starter,shich kebab,chicken biryani and a nan bread and all of it was beautiful.looking forward to our next meal.

Ordered a hot chicken tikka and garlic nan. Took about an hour to turn up and bread was almost cold. The tikka looked radioactive in colour and tasted vile. Threw it away and will certainly not be using this place again

Pedimos una de Mowgli última (sí, ya sé que era San Valentín). Me dijeron que sería de 45 minutos a 1 horas, bien esperamos 1 horas 30 minutos, y luego persiguieron hasta me dijeron lo siento, pero está en el camino ahora. Esperamos otros 45 minutos antes de que finalmente llegó. . . . Vivimos a tan sólo 10 minutos de distancia. . . . .¿Por qué no ser honesto con sus clientes desde el comienzo ellos dicen que van a tardar 2 horas como su San Valentín y estamos ocupados. . . . Arruinó nuestra noche casi la comida era buena pero recuerdo es lo mucho que tuvimos que esperar y luego de ser engañado.

Usually good. However, just had a delivery. Chicken tikka masalla delivered was just sauce, no meat. Rang them and they supplied within 30 minutes. This doesn't excuse human hair in two dishes. Sorry Mowgli. Very disappointed.

Regular visitor. The quality of food is very good, a good Indian takeaway. Staff/owners very friendly. Average price. Worth a visit, doesn't look much from the outside but the food is good.

One of the best Indian takeaways in Lincoln,chicken tikka masala and chicken korma are first class ,service is top notch and delivery is very quick,will defiantly be reordering here in the near future.

Si no lo ha notado, ME revisión al menos un restaurante indio de un mes. Yo soy muy rara vez defraudado en años de experiencia en los "signos"...

Habiendo vivido en la zona durante muchos años, esta fue mi primera visita a este restaurante. Yo no había oído cosas buenas, así que llevó a mi esposa e hijo de seis años. Teníamos poppadoms y salsas y un plato principal cada uno con 2 arroces y un pan de cada hombre. Los adultos sólo tenía una bebida alcohólica cada uno y para el niño un refresco. La comida llegó a 60 libras. Para Lincolnshire es el King's Ransom!

En más de una ocasión por mes que pedimos comida para llevar de la India para la entrega de la casa. La comida en sí es muy bueno, pero el servicio es terrible.

This small restaurant in ill age provides very good ethnic food. I guess the restaurant service might be patchy, given the high volume of clearly repeat business takeaway. We only had this and an vouch for the wide choice and good quality.

Food quality good but service & delivery appalling! Nearly 2 hours after ordering we got the right order. Food was only warm, not hot and no apology or offer of discount from shop. Will be finding another Indian takeaway!!

We have always rated mowglis highly, their currys are lovely and much nicer than others we have tried.It has always been a family favourite.

Had a delivery from here on Saturday night, food arrived at the time we had been told and delivered by a nice, polite man, the food was great, rice was fresher than usual and the main dishes of passanda and phaal were full of flavour and heat in the phaal, would recommend anyone give this place a try, also very well priced against other high street take aways.

Had takeaway with family on Thursday night, all food was hot and fresh, have tried many Indians and this tops almost all the others in lincoln
