The best restaurants serving Chinese food in East Midlands

we orderd 3 tubs of bbq sauce with meals the sauce was orange gloopy and tasted awfull usually sauce is nice what happend we were very dissapointed and the whole 3 tubs went in the bin

Absolutely shocking service. Ordered on food hub, after 30 minutes had a call from them to say we need to pay an extra £7.50 on top of the £3.50 already paid for them to deliver our order.... only for them to then cancel the order through the app. I wouldn't recommend using this place....couldn't comment on the food quality as we never recieved it, but now having now looked at the reviews it's probably lucky for us we didn't. 0 stars if possible.

Just had an excellent set meal A for one with a portion of Singapore Noodles. The sweet and sour chicken balls were superb. It fed three of us there was that much. Superb value, nice and hot too. Came to £21 so not bad at all.

This is a pretty good takeaway, the prices are very reasonable.

Since moving to chesterfield I’ve ordered from here many times and it has always been perfect, definitely my new favourite place ☺️

What as happened to Lees of Birstall, my Sunday dinner was more Chinese supposed to be a Singapore chow mein it was not good

A slightly subpar takeaway. Everything was well cooked but didn't taste of much, the prices were low but not the cheapest on the street, service fast and friendly.

Amazing the best Cantonese/ Chinese food I’ve ever had. Extremely extremely authentic. Real flavours and all made completely fresh. Not like some Chinese where they cater for what British people want this is the real deal when it comes to Cantonese food in the midlands! Good value and the portions of protein is substantial. I recommend you come in and sit down for the best and freshest experience. The BBQ Duck & HK Sweet & Sour Pork are highly recommended

Orderd chicken chow main tonight found the chicken very slimmey not nice at all had to throw it away

My husband and I got a Takeaway whilst we are away. We ordered this on Saturday 24th August 2024. When I ordered it in the evening, I asked the lady who answered the phone, how spicy the dish was. We knew it was a 1 chilli in spices, but I was reassured that she would ask for it to be mild. We chose a Black bean sauce dish, a Special dish. A on the menu. We asked for special fried. When the delivery came by a young man, and we opened the dish, we discovered that we had boiled rice. After a phone call, we wanted to eat, and didn't want to wait for special fried rice to be delivered. They agreed that we could have a banana fritter instead, which would be delivered in 30 minutes. Whilst I was eating the dish, I found that there was a group of green chillies in the food. When I put them in my mouth, I realised that they were hot chillies. I spat them our quickly, but my mouth was on fire, and I couldn't speak for 15 minutes. My mouth was still affected. It was such a shock, and when I eventually was able to ring and complain, I spoke to the young man who had delivered our food. He said he would ask the Manager to ring me, which never happened. I will never use this restaurant or take away again, and I would recommend that everyone should be aware.

Absolutely atrocious service. Ordered at 7.30pm for 8.30pm. Nothing turned up so called and was told it was on its way. 9.45pm no delivery. Called again and was told they didn’t have the ticket!!! I informed them the money had been taken out my account. They hung up the phone. Tried calling back picked up and hung up. Will never use them again… I will await a refund 🤷‍♀️. Would not recommend.

My daughter loved the chicken balls and rice but pricey for kids but it's all about the atmosphere so very happy.

First time visiting Hop Sing and will certainly be back. We ordered off the buffet menu and was pleasantly surprised with the great choice of dishes. Service was good and food was delicious. Highly recommend
