Po Wing in Leicester

Honest review. The food used to be very good. But now its not good at all. First of all the Crispy shredded beef in chilly was Very Soggy from the red Chilli sauce that it is soaked in. Not the end of fhe world but The Beef is so Chewy i was chewing the same Mouth full for 5mins I had to spit it into a tissue bearing in mind.I have all my teeth. The Chicken wings were okay Good flavor but very dry. Chicken chowmain was ok Just very wet not too bad tho to be honest. Curry sauce very good. Chip the same as every other chinese. Worst part with delivery drivers attitude Not Wanting to being the food to the door. In his own words there was bo parking and not worth the £1.49 delivery charge Like I say that was from the delivery drivers own mouth. Its all round not worth the money Left me feeling like i Wasted my money. This is nothing personal just my Personal experience thank you

A slightly subpar takeaway. Everything was well cooked but didn't taste of much, the prices were low but not the cheapest on the street, service fast and friendly.

Singapore noodles are greasy wet no texture killed the chilies and I requested extra? Had to dig to find tiny pieces of green chillies. First time and last time ordering.. noodles are the main thing for me. Comms and driver was great. Sweet sour sauce with prawns balls tasted little off :( Can of coke had been shaken up to the max lost half a can. Service was great but noodles not worth the price / soup not enough spice was weak

Good prices for great tasting food which is hot (temperature) when you eat it after taking it home. Recommend for chinese in Leicester, among one of the better establishments

Nice food, the salt and pepper chicken is amazing! Satay chicken is also great. I order from here regularly and am always pleased with prices and food!

Baffled by the 5 star reviews. Food quality was poor. Sweet and Sour Chicken, which to be honest is harder to get wrong….. was poor. Overcooked. First and last visit, standard simply not good enough. Sorry.

Went here for the first time today, it was absolutely delicious, even if they did forget the chicken balls, and had to go back for them. Will definitely be returning

As always food is delicious. Just one complaint. We ordered the 2 large spring rolls and got 4 tiny spring rolls which I think are free. Apart from that everything else was ok.

Ordered sweet and sour king prawns Cantonese style, rice and chips. The meal was mediocre to say the least and not the usual standard of this takeaway. The meal arrived luke warm and the sweet and sour sauce had conjeeled so I don't know how long it had been in the container waiting to be delivered to me. Can't say i enjoyed the meal and at £14.60, it certainly wasn't value for money, or worth the price paid. Will consider ordering elsewhere in future.

We've used Po Wing for years. We love their food, the service is very good and would definitely recommend them. I'd have given them 5 stars if you could pay by bank card. It's cash only but it never puts me off using them, it would just be an added bonus.

I have been using Po Wing for so many tears (I think 25 years) and they have always been fantastic. Po Wing is my go-to for a chinese takeaway - they are AMAZING! I live on the "Narb' and they are the best!!

Absolute best Chinese takeaway in Leicester. Restaurant quality food and incredibly friendly service. The Peking and Satay main dishes are absolutely delicious.

This has to be one of the best take aways we have ever had We ordered our meal for 5 people , my partner is allergic to onion to asked for the vegetable satay to not contain onions And it didn't , she said it was the best satay she has had , we will DEFINITELY be ordering from there again , great food , good portions and even better value

Abysmal food. Bland tasting. Noodles were stodgy. Beef was fatty and really chewy. Even the soup tasted of nothing but water and spice. Last time I order from here.

Had to call as food still hadn’t arrived after hour and half ,when it arrived I was told the driver had 3 orders on board including mine only delivered 2 then went home, I order regular from this takeaway and don’t think this is very good service we ended up eating our meal about 10:30 in the evening which didn’t go down well

Too expensive. But deccccdnnnnnt too poor. A shame it cost so much. £5 for sweet and sour chicken but no rice or noodle. £5 extra for chow mein. So £10 for a plate of food.

The food was shocking. So bad no taste drowned in oil and soy sauce. More flavour in a graveyard because this place was dead as. The only good thing they made was satay sauce.

The food was delicious. The tweaks to the dishes that we requested, were absolutely no problem for them. Collection time was only a little longer than stated but this was for a large order (6 people) & on a Saturday night. Therefore we would say completely acceptable!

Never late delivery, in fact thwy may even arrive 5-10 minutes earlier:) Food portions are big. Perhaps less oil used inthe food might be where they could improve. But otherwise a good option for Chinese take away!

Driver texts saying outside then rings me and is no where near. Walking up and down the street for 15 minutes repeating the road i am on even though it was on delivery notes driver starts swearing so tell him to keep it. Ordering elsewhere

Severely disappointed as po wing are normally excellent. Food tasted bland and all the same also no sweet and sour sauce with the sweet and sour chicken balls.! Very disappointed as didn’t eat much usually my favourite Chinese.

Decided to change my takeaway for delivery. Ordered when they opened at 6pm, delivery was fine, quite impressed. But my special curry was disappointing sauce. Did not like the taste. But main concern was the chilli chips we ordered. Chips were microwaved probably from an earlier batch. Certainly were not fresh. Wont bother again
