The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

moved to the area and struggled to find a good Chinese but I have now the best chrispy beef I've had will recommend and will be ordering again and very polite staff on collection

Have eaten here quite a few times and always pretty consistant with quality of food and taste, would recommend to try

Really poor show this time, Chinese is my regular treat take away. Being my local shop I was glad to have a good quality well priced, takeaway on my parade. Imagine my shock to come in to a newly reduced menu, my usual order was no longer an option. No worries lets Change it up a bit try something similar, but all I got was appalling quality this time round. Bland dry and colourless. Wasn't visually appealing, and had no flavour what so ever. I'll never order from this service again. I'll sooner go further afield for the quality I used to get.

Fantastic food and service every time I go here, have been using Sakura for 4 years and is hands down, one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. The lady on the front always knows what I’m ordering and ensures it’s made perfect for me every time 20/10 rating from us

This place has got to be the worst Chinese takeaway on the island. The food is awful. They use LUNCHEON MEAT! in some of the dishes and cheap ingredients to bulk the dishes out. This place replaced 'The great wall' which was amazing. There is nothing Yummy about this place.

Sent rice instead of noodles! What are we supposed to do, send them back after eating the starters and wait another hour for them to get it right?! Very poor, sort it out!

Friendly people. Food is usually good. Delivery person is polite, pleasant as is person who takes order. No halaal options. Generous quantities. It’s closed on Tuesdays. Would recommend : Salt and Pepper King Prawns, Vegetable Rice Noodles, Mini Spring Rolls.

Worse Chinese I have ever had, chips were rock hard, curry sauce was just flavoured water and did not taste anything like curry, and left a nasty after taste that made me sick, after just 2 mouthfuls had to throw away. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, that's if you have any sense.

We've spent hundreds of pounds online with this takeaway so far this year. We were passing and decided to drop in. I placed our order at the counter only to be told that they do not accept anything other than cash. Despite our loyalty (and not a penny on us) we were refused service unless we went online. There was no exception and no consideration of our almost weekly custom. So, we wasted time and money placing a Just Eat order (which costs more) whist standing at the counter. If you're considering them, be aware that this is how Golden Wok values a loyal customer. We will never patronise them again, and I'd import you to consider their customer service.

Cheap bread and cold food Donner was cold and horrible all wasted I ask for garlic mayo not given will not be goung back !!!!!

The pork and duck were dry and overcooked. Prawn crackers were missing, but were delivered quickly after I called. Delivery was friendly and on time

Been ordering from Yung Kee for years, order a takeaway, was advised it would be a 90 minute wait, 2 hours came round, we rang and were told it had just left the shop. An hour later still no delivery, rang up and was told it would be any minute now, I said it will be cold, she said let us know if it’s cold and we will refund you. Food was cold on arrival, advised Yung Kee, a week later no refund and we didn’t have anything to eat that night. Such a shame, it use to be great, not any more.

Unfortunately after 2.5 hours and still no sign of any food. Very hungry and should have gone elsewhere

DO NOT GO HERE!! I had to wait 57 mins for my food. When arrived it was stone cold! • shrimp was undercooked • Rice hard • noodles were stale • chicken balls were rock solid I had asked for a refund and the lady had to me to come in the shop and hung up on me. I went into the shop and she asked me to leave. Never go here !!! Staff are rude !!!
