Unfortunately after 2.5 hours and still no sign of any food. Very hungry and should have gone elsewhere

Been a patron of this fine restauraunt for many years and it hasn't given me s***s once! The salt and pepper chicken is peng and yes they might have a few migrants In the back cooking chow'mein for pittence an hour but in return you get fine cuisine at affordable prices!

This restaurant should stop its takeaway service immediately. Ordered a meal at 6.40 on a Saturday evening and 2 hours later it still hasn't been delivered. Sorry not acceptable.

Food is usually very good, but unfortunately that's where it ends. Unless you're going in mid-Summer, take a coat. It's usually very cold inside the hideously decorated restaurant. No draught beer, only ridiculously priced cans. All drinks are expensive there. I shan't return, many other much better places to eat.

I have recently returned to the Fortune as my take away of choice mainly because of moving house... on the whole its OK, but last weekend my dish was inedible... which takes some doing after 7 pints...the meat was nearly all fat... very poor quality... but I will admit sometimes it can really be good. The one thing that really needs to change with this place is that the outside needs to be tidied up.... there are windows missing and other stuff that really do not create a good impressions... especially when you have seen generations of pigeons residing in the upper floors..

Had a lot takeaways and restaurant food but it never hot food always just warm , not been in and not ordered takeaways since as had things missing.

Either set menu or a la carte, with a fixed price for as much as you can eat. We had the usual mixed plate od starters, crispy roast duck, and several individual main courses, all very tasty. Can't go wrong! Prompt and courteous service.

six of the family went for birthday treat we chose to have banquet meal ordered starters and main meals all were brought to the table very quickly . the table had what I believe is called a lazy jane rotating piece in the center . all the meals were of high quality and very tasty. having the banquet you can have as many dishes as you require for a set price not to be missed

For many years, The Fortunes has been a firm favourite of ours that could be relied on for delicious, beautifully presented meals with friendly, efficient service. Very disappointed to say this is what we experienced on our latest visit: Greasy well worn menus, chewy prawn crackers, only a fork per place setting, greasy over fried dim sum, greasy tasteless shredded duck for the pancakes, flavourless boiled rubbery chicken in MSG sauce, rubbery king prawns with big slices of onion and frozen peas in another MGS sauce, beef with a very strange texture of brown congealed fatty rubber. I dread to think what reconstituted or chemical laden substances were we served but so sorry to say we will not be going back.

Ordered sweet n sour chicken, Spring rolls, Fried rice, noodles, chips and curry sauce. It arrived in good time and was hot sadly it went downhill from there. The chicken balls, they looked like they'd been deep fried for 10 mins too long but the batter was still gooey inside, The chips clearly cooked in same dirty oil and overcooked. The spring rolls- not really sure what to say on this they looked really nice but couldn't work out if I'd ordered veg spring rolls and one peice of chicken had been added by mistake (which would be really bad) or if it was supposed to have meat in n they just put one bit in to be tight. The fried rice- bit stodgy n egg was grey also tasted a bit funny. The noodles - nice Curry sauce- powdery Sweet n sour sauce -watery Overall- it was cheap at just over £16 but I can see why. I wouldn't order from there again.

Love the food here, good value for money. £14 on a Tuesday for an all you can eat cooked to order menu. Delicious duck, main courses etc. Decor is very throwback 80's, but it's clean. Waiting staff could be more presentable, but if it's posh you want then you're at the wrong place Been here three times now, would visit again and would recommend.

Really really disappointed, very rude staff when my concerns were raised even though they could of quite easily been rectified. No interest in their customers just how much money their taking. Complained to manager and all he was interested in was counting the nights takings. Very rude and unprofessional management and staff.

Food was excellent, delivery was fast. Thought we would give it ago, has the Chinese we use are on New year's holiday, very pleased we did. Will definitely be coming back.

Ordered from here a few times and this is the worst...no flavour...very bland...not hot...quite disappointed

I am a regular customer but this time it has took well over an hour to come and it all cold and my soup has been squashed and split so I can't eat it, it's horrible

Delivery time was brilliant. Thats as good as it gets. Worst chinese chips ive ever had in my life spring rolls are flat and empty deep fried chilli chicken was basically chicken in soft batter in sweet and sour sauce wiv a few peppers thrown in. Rice and curry was ok.

Nicest Chinese I've had in a long time !!

We went one Tuesday night for a friend's birthday as a group of 8 & were amazed at the value. They do an all you can eat menu for £14 quid where you pick whatever dishes you like as n say as you want all for £14. We had loads of different stuff starters, mains & sides plus drinks which weren't expensive at all. Everything was fantastic but I thought when the bill came it would be way more but no it was £20 each including tip. My favourite dishes where the duck pancakes starter & crispy chilli beef main. Will definitely be back! Service was great & staff very friendly.

We did not enjoy our meal my son put us on to you he had a meal last week and enjoyed it but our main meal was very salty stright in the bin 😁

Previously ordered from this takeaway, however, the delivery was quicker than stated but the combination starter was well done and very crisp near to burnt.

The meal wasn't worth what I paid for it very standard and flavourless I won't be ordering from here again. Have been and ate in the restaurant previous and the food was the best around but this is the first time I have had a takeaway from here and it was totally different not upto standard at all.

Dry chicken, flavourless duck, uncrispy crispy shredded beef, small portions. Everything very very greasy. Will not order from here again. The only good thing was how quick it came based on the estimated delivery time, I'd rather wait a bit longer for decent food

THE best take away ive had since living in moorends. Its always hot tasty and good delivery time. The only down fall is one of the delivery drivers is rather moody.

Asked for the takeaway to be delivered for 10:15 as my partner wouldn't be back until that time. Delivered an hour earlier so had to be warmed up, when I asked the delivery driver he just said, sorry they didn't put a time on it.

Food was lovely really enjoy it however this time from ordering the food it took 1hour and 40 minutes to deliver! Way beyond any waiting time!

eaten in many times before and the food was great... sadly the take away wasn't. the sweet and sour chicken was hard to chew what little taste it has seemed like it had been cooked and 're heated. the lemon chicken was dry with a lemon sauce to pour over... bland.. all in all a disappointment from a normally top restaurant. . lots of competition in the area so will not be back for take away food.

Made a order with a courtesy follow up call, for no pork in any of the food as we do not eat pork. Meal delivered with pork. Charged £1 for delivery and then when we called the takeaway the response was I forgot to tell the kitchen and ordered to pay another £1 for delivery. Unacceptable -

The usual great quality food delivered on time as expected.

Food was cold, chicken has hard and chewy, satay sauce was sat in a layer of oil when I opened it .. Not the usual standard of food I receive when I order from fortune.

First time we have ordered in this way but will definitely do it again. Delivery time was as stated. Food was delicious and hot.

Our food was disgusting it was has if it had all been warmed up & the chips must have been in & out of frier about 5 times well that's what it looked like anyway & that tasted as if had done to so won't be ordering from yous again

Food was ok normally it's a great Chinese. Our chicken and sweet corn soup had what could only be described as clear jelly slime in it I have no idea what it was. So the soup when straight in the bin. The rest of the food was ok a bit bland though

After waiting over 2 hours for our order through just eat. Several phone calls were made to the company. And even spoke to a just eat liver chat line. To be told each time the order is on its way. Then to be told it had been delivers. It had not. I will not be using just eat again or this takeaway

The food looked good however the taste was lacking in flavour and needed a lot of seasoning. Came on time though so can't fault their service

are cleared 6 pounds per item 169 is written clearly that in giving this a sauce and vegetables, but no vegetables or sauce, I saw not only dried fried noodles with meat. I mean family house fried noodle

Ordered 4x cola for 80p and got vanilla cola that should be 65p as stated on the can. Vanilla cola is like eating your own toe nails!
