Food taste and quality was good but extra sauce that was ordered did not arrive. Impacted whole meal then as rice, chips and chicken all very dry without sauce to go with them. Didn’t enjoy as much without the sauce. Highlighted missing item on app, reimbursed for it being missing but would have much preferred complete order. Would recommend for flavour and food quality but we’re unlikely to go here again.

Best Chinese food i have had i. A while

I didnt get what i ordered. Part of my order was a king prawn curry and boiled rice. I got the boiled rice. Never ordering from here again. Shocking

Ordered a tofu in black bean sauce came without the sauce and crammed with spicey peppers, does not state food is spicey on menu, waited an hour and 20 mins, which we expected on a friday, food was cold, husband couldnt eat it. Waste of money, will never order from here again!

We waited over an hour. When the food arrived all the bags were 'wet' and food was soggy and cold. The chips and spring rolls were so cold they were 'stale' like. The sauces had gone firm. My SINGAPORE chow mein had no spice at all. No meat just chicken included which leads me to think it was just a chicken chow mein. We order regularly and we have never had such an awful delivery! The quality was truly appalling. So disappointed! We threw the majority away as it was inedible

Chips were overcooked and soggy, chicken curry was just awful and chow mein was ok. Sweet and sour chicken balls were good. Even the free prawn crackers were stale. £30 worth of food ordered and about £20 worth thrown away.

rice was mushy no flavour to it salt an pepper chicken had red pepper it's supposed to be green pepper

The mixed meat was just chicken or really chewy, fatty, stringy pork with peas strewn throughout the rice. Really disappointing.

Probably the worst meal let alone Chinese I’ve ever had. Funky smelling beef one mouthful was enough to put me off the whole meal, the yuk sung was so sweet it tasted like a desert, empty spring rolls. The food was truly abysmal and evidently nothing was fresh. Avoid. Never again.

Definitely not the best Chinese meal I’ve had. Each dish tasted similar and was warm. Sizes were good but definitely not worth the money for a four person set meal

We requested no green peppers in our meals and they removed all vegetables from the duck kung po & special fried rice - which left the meals very sad looking with just meat and rice.

I received 2 text messages apologising that my order was delayed.

Asked specifically for no veg onion or been sprouts in plain chow meins turned up full of em so wasn’t eaten but rest was ok

food arrived on time, sadly chips and chicken balls were cold and didn't seem fresh, very cardboard like. ribs were pretty solid and rice was fine.

An hour and a half wait for food. When i rang the lady on the phone offered no apologies or sympathy just said 'we got busy over the last hour' ... my salt+pepper chicken is dry but thankfully i have some sweet+sour sauce to help. What a shame.

Food was passable, but better local alternatives

1st time I've ever had a poor meal from Hong Kong kitchen, the egg fried rice was gloopy, bbq ribs were dry and tough, the special mixed curry was edible but again the meat was dry tough and chewy. I've always used Hong Kong kitchen so was disappointed but won't stop me returning.

My food was actually really nice, and the lady on the phone was really polite and helpful. However the delivery driver OMG! He knocked my door so hard he shook my house, woke everyone up and completely rattled the dogs!! When asked why he knocked so hard when there is clearly a ri g door bell, that bare in mind lights up and makes a chime when pressed his response was absolutely shocking!!! I have him on camera, rude as hell. Even when opening my door he had his back half turned and just had the food held out!!! What kind of customer service is this? No consideration when arriving at people's home we'll after 9.30pm, no compassion towards the customers or their food!!! Literally 1st time ordering here and will be the last!!

Most rudest delivery driber ive ever come across!!! When asked why he banged the front door so loud he woke everyone in the house up and theres clearly.a door bell that makes a noise he was soooooo rude!!! Never will i order from here again!!

I will never use Hong Kong Kitchen again! The food was terrible. The curry was watery, I ordered extra mushrooms, there was one mushroom!! The chicken was so dried out, it was like leather, and the chicken balls had a very odd taste. I still have the majority of the food left over! I ended up giving my family beans on toast.

Wouldn't let me give zero stars for quality. Asked for no veg in curry and chow mean. They clearly don't read the notes added to the order as I had VEG IN both. I'm allergic to peas so curry was wasted. Chow mein had more Bean sprouts and onion that noodles and chicken

First time ordering from here and the food was ok as most of it was cold especially the chips. Nice free prawn crackers too! It did say this was free delivery on here too but ended up being charged

Ordered a take away via Uber Eats. The app was a little difficult to navigate, but persevered and processed the order we wanted. Food was delivered bang on time, was hot and tasted superb. Great portions two, it actually lasted two meals!

Have always loved the food from here but haven’t ordered in a while. I’m sorry to say the Chinese chicken curry wasn’t great. There was too much onion, the chicken was really tough and the egg fried rice was quite tasteless. I left most of mine, but the dim sum was really good. My husband seemed to enjoy his Thai red curry and boiled rice.

We order from here every time but very disappointed with the order this time, the rice had a very strange taste to it and the ribs were quite literally just bones, looked like they had been stripped of meat already and the restaurant re-sold the bones!

Order was cold when it arrived and wrong. I ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and salt and pepper prawns but got 2 lots of prawns. The food was tasty I also had a chicken chow mein and prawn toast it’s just a shame it was cold

didn't mind it being early as we was in anyway, decided to give Hong Kong Kitchen a try as our regular place was closed and it did not disappoint, food was amazing and reasonably priced, would certainly recommend.

The food was awful and come cold , £35 spent , no prawn crackers , over cooked chips , tastless rice , burnt chicken balls , salt and pepper chicken was just batter , sorry but won’t be ordering from there again!

Ordered vegetarian food.....found bits of chicken in the rice and the curry sauce had a strange sweet and sour tang. Threw it all in the bin Never again!

food wasn’t great if i’m honest barely got ate the bbq sauce (normaly bright red with a good flavour) was brown and tasted a bit like gravy. the sweet and sour sauce was thick and like glue. chips were awful and not cooked proper some were hard in the middle. spring rolls were good and so were chicken balls.

Amazing food, I used to use Dragon Hut but it went down hill, maybe they changed ownership, this is my new go to Chinese!
