The best restaurants serving Chinese food in England

Very mixed review! Positives. Quick service. Chow mein was great. Neutral - Curry was okay but lacked a bit of flavour, peas were noticeably undercooked. Crackers were very thick & hard in places Negatives - overcharged what the menu said quite significantly, also missed an entire dish from the order & it was too far to go back for 1 meal. Sweet & sour sauce was like jelly. Chicken balls were small & were probably 70% batter 30% chicken.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips, beef and blackbean sauce, chilli chicken, was all very nice, some of the best salt and pepper chips. Rang for collection, was ready to collect as soon as we arrived.

Nous y avons mangé avec ma fille. Un accueil très chaleureux par du personnel souriant et très agréable. Au moment du choix des plats et en réponse à mon incompréhension pour un plat le serveur à rechercher des photos sur internet afin de m'expliquer. Prix correct pour Londres.

Since the restaurant has been taken over it is much improved. The food is good and is now realistic competition takeaway option for Khushi.

Food tastes fine but the containers are only half full and they don’t give free prawn crackers. Normally I go to Canton House where 2 dishes is enough for dinner and lunch the next day. 3 dishes from this place and it only did one meal.

The food at the Hing Wah is just simply the best in town, always tasty and with great quality ingredients. The chap out front is just a wonderful kind person with just the best memory. Thank you so much we don't go anywhere else.

This is my favourite Chinese style restaurant in the world. The service is great they do carry out and the food is so tasty. If you don’t know what to pick try the beef and broccoli. Delicious.

Our favourite local Chinese. Been using Golden Harbour for years and for us personally it never disappoints. Decent portion sizes, well priced and very tasty. Never had missing items and upon collecting to arriving home it’s always piping hot. The only thing we’d say, is that In busier periods like weekends/bank holidays etc, their timings can be a bit off. They may say 30 minutes for collection time when sometimes you be may be waiting 20 minutes longer. Be patient. It’s understandable that they can only give an estimated time and not an accurate time based on the capacity that they’re working at. Other than that. Good stuff Golden Harbour :))
