Don't get the bad reviews on here, I've been going for over 35 years , great food but I mainly have Sweet n Sour Chicken Cantonese Style, Fried Rice , Curry and Chips and it's brilliant, would recommend to anyone

Fantastic food always hot when delivered,you have to try their Crispy Pancake Roll.

Absolutely vile unedible rice burnt no meat in it chips burnt and definitely been reheated from day before ,chicken balls burnt and very greasy put the lot in the bin .

Just ordered and the food delivered was vile .It's all been chucked in the bin you could tell it hasnt been cooked fresh it's old food that's been re heated .burnt rice and chicken very dry .Been ordering for years from here but thd last couple of times haven't been nice so won't order from here again . Decided to try this takeaway again after a year we thought it might have improved it was worse than the last time we ordered Deffo shouldn't have bothered the rice is still burnt and you need a magnifying glass to find the meat in it and the chips are still being reheated from the day before absolutely vile .

AVOID AVOID AVOID at ALL costs. I ordered a beef curry and chips from here tonight. The chips were full of grease It took them 1hr 30 mins to deliver our food It tasted vile, there were two long black hairs in my food absolutely disgusting. I will be checking out their food rating. I will never eat from here ever again

Absolutely the best Chinese there crispy pancakes are so nice with the curry sauce or the curry dishes I come all the way from S20 for this Chinese and its well worth it.

Disgusting! Don’t waste your money on this tasteless cold food that takes an age to arrive. Ordered 2 main dishes and some sides one of main dishes missing and sides cold, rang and asked for order to be replaced, which they did but had to wait a further 45 minutes for delivery, when 2nd delivery arrived food was only fit for the bin, terrible take away

Best Chinese food in Hillsborough

Used to be my favourite ever but wow last week was horrendous 2 hours for delivery salt and pepper chips inedible, chow mein tasteless and soggy, the ribs were burnt it was awful

Food was never delivered, been ordering here for the last 5 years wont be ordering again after tonight's issue, very poor customer service, they do not deserve the business and I will be spending My money else where from now on.

Food was overcooked , bland & tasteless.. chicken chow mein was just a tray of overcooked noodles & onions & was a strange brown colour..chicken curry didn't taste like curry at all & the veg in the blackbean was soft & mushy..very disappointed.. probably the worst chinese takeaway I've ever had....

It's odd they don't take full advantage of football match days. Their curry sauce is one of the best around however their chips eaten today were poor resembling stale chips which had been reheated causing them to be chewy - bit of a let down today.

I found THE BEST Chinese takeaway in the UK. The Spring rolls are Insane. The Large is a meal on its own. I'm officially in love with this place. Just wish they were open 24/365... I know that's selfish of me... but oh my gosh.... their food is divine.

Been here a couple of times, generally it's quite tasty. However tonight we ordered for delivery for the 1st time, we ordered at bang on the opening time, it took 50 minutes to arrive. Once here if you refer to the pictures you can see the quality was absolutely appauling. Special Vietnamese fried rice, had less than 30 grams of meat, not a single prawn and the rice was burnt. We only rang up to ask if they had sent the wrong rice as it was Niether spicy or had anything special in it, the owner spent 10 minutes on the phone telling me what should be in it, including prawns, she did not understand that not only were there no prawns at all but there was practically zero meat in it and that it was burnt. Refused to do anything about it or exchange it, chef then came on phone to explain that was the normal amount and we should go else where, no question about that, we shall not be going again. Mixed starter was 2 meatless ribs, and 6 pieces of batter with half a prawn toast. Honestly there are far far better Chinese takeaways less then 300 meters away. Will wait till others open 30 minutee later in future.

Been using this take away for best part of 30 years... don't understand the bad reviews but food is very subjective and what is one person's favourite someone else doesn't like....however, this place serves quality food in large portions and we have only had consistently great tasting food (especially the curries 😋)

Not been using this Chinese for a while. Last time we did order we had incorrect items, as well as some missing. So have avoided for a while but decided to try again tonight hoping that it had improved. The answer to that is no. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for food that wasn’t only bland, it was cold as well. From past experience if you complain then it doesn’t get you anywhere. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. I only left 1 star because there’s no option to leave a zero star review!

Every time I have been here since 1994 I have enjoyed whatever I have ordered . Friendly efficient staff . Great tasting food especially the curry sauce and pancake rolls

My terminally ill Mother has ZERO appetite, apart from when it comes to fish & chips! I typically order for her via CityGrab (from a different takeaway), but because of the recent heavy snowfall, they weren’t delivering. To cut a long story short, someone (my partner, not a member of staff) brought them over for her from Hoong Too! NEVER AGAIN. They looked lovely.... however they were not! Underneath the beautifully crisp, golden batter of the ‘cod’ (Noway was it cod) was a ‘snotty’ mess! They went in the bin after two mouthfuls & an hour later my Mother was being violently ill at the toilet! First time customers who WILL NEVER revisit! Thanks for making an already seriously ill person feel even more ill. 0/10 🤬

The sort of takeaway that’s definitely not super healthy but definitely is the tastiest I’ve ever had in Sheffield. Salt and pepper chicken comes crispy, chips are amazing and the chicken curry is the best. They did a special mushroom dish for us and it was delicious. It arrived hot and prompt, at a great price, can’t ask for more.

Hot tasty food. Quick delivery unless there busy. Only downfall is multiple times order has been wrong and when calling up they ask if wed like it on next order which is pointless Food always makes ups want to go back

Call in only on match days (swfc). Don't be put off by the long queues, the staff are very efficient and the que is soon worked through. Plenty of option available even on match days as they keep frying constantly (never waited for chips/sausages/fish). Good size portions, great tasting food & good prices. 4 of us eat there, chips, large sausage & curry 4 times for less than £14.

The salt n pepper ribs are ace, cooked in a different and better way than many I've tried from other take away.. and the curry sauce is spot on...pancake rolls..omg..beautiful...etc...etc..

As many others have said, the best chicken curry on planet earth. I have been frequenting this establishment for over 25 years and the consistency and quality hasn't changed at all. The chips and spring rolls (the big ones) also deserve a mention. I highly recommend this place!

food is nice if they can ever get your order right, seems they are too busy lately to give good customer focus , too many times now i have had food items missing or the wrong foods, with a promise of correcting it next time ,which never happens. so have started ordering closer sorry, hoong too just my honest opinion.

After reading reviews thought I would try this,very disappointed crispy pancake was soggy which spoilt it wasn’t greasy like most places.chips cold and rubbery.chicken curry was nice but that was about it out of a £24 order.wont be ordering again .

El pollo al curry estaba bien, patatas fritas y seco y lo peor de todo fue el chowmein especial.Estaba negro y quemado, completamente seco con algunos trozos minúsculos de carne seca y fibrosa.Fue absolutamente repugnante y fue directamente al basurero.Encontraremos un chino más cerca de casa en el futuro que no volveré aquí.

Plenty of Chinese takeaways around hillsborough but none that we prefer over Hong Too. Tried takeaways when we've been away on holidays but haven't found one we like better. Their crispy pancake roll is absolutely enormous.

This is the best Chinese takeaway you could ever go to. Food is very hot when you pick it up. They also deliver. So tasty, good portion sizes and cheap in price. Good service. Highly recommended.

Hemos estado utilizando Hoong demasiado desde que puedo recordar y nunca me ha decepcionado! El personal que contesta el teléfono siempre son amables, serviciales y muchos de ellos reconocen la dirección y terminar la orden para nosotros! La comida ha sido siempre caliente, bien preparada y servida en una escala de tiempo aceptable y nunca hemos recibido el orden equivocado. Simplemente el mejor y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

this chinese is where we get our takeaways from when i'm on nights as i work probably 10 mins away.the food is superb and the portions are huge. delivery is available free of charge under 3 miles.

He estado yendo a este lugar por muchos años y había unos cuantos problemas, pero el servicio de atención al cliente de esta noche tuve hsd sólo me hizo decidirme del todo!!!! La comida siempre atrae a volver, ya que es una buena 75% del tiempo! Pero el servicio de atención al cliente y honestamente es terrible! Los errores que hacen por su pedidos no clasificados y cómo hablan de lo que es ... bueno, no las palabras para!!! Nunca hay cualquier advertencia si hense ajetreado que he estado allí esperando casi 2 horas para mi comida esta noche como la primera muchos vienen mal y me tuve que elevar mi voz para ellos para escuchar y Tráigame sustitución! (Todavía estamos esperando!) Cuando pedí que me dijeron que era mi culpa la comida era malo pero ella leer mi pedido al teléfono así que, por favor dígame cómo se ven mal, y de hecho no mencionar fría!!
