You must try their Chinese food, it’s amazing and better than other popular restaurants around. Their service is super friendly and kind lady added soup and serve us fruits for free.

Mr.s. Maggie is really nice and accommodating. I went there twice and the food was just great. It's clean and the owner subtlety observes her clients to see who needs help/assistance/servicing. Will return again!

An absolute gem, serving the typical dishes you expect along with authentic Chinese dishes you very rarely see. We can't wait to visit again as there are so many we want to try.

This all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant exceeded my expectations. The soup base was flavourful, savoury, and perfect for dipping. There were numerous meal alternatives available, including fresh vegetables, high-quality meats, seafood, and a wide range of noodles. The selection allowed me to easily customise my dish to my liking! The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive, ensuring that everything was refilled promptly. Overall, it's one of the best hotpot locations I've tried, and I'll definitely return!

Took my son for his 16th birthday … the staff was attentive and very polite .. the lady that served us was friendly .. we had the set menu for 2 … so much food but my son demolished it.. it was plenty full & even gave us a doggy bag to take home ..

The service was very slow, this place really sucks . Staff are super rude, my food took over an hour to arrive, the noodles was stuck together and cold when it arrived, the service was terrible as well, because their low quality and unreasonable packaging, such a lousy restaurant, the subpar service I encountered that day made me reconsider further visit to this restaurant. God have mercy on your soul if you eat there.

Lovely staff and good service but the food was mostly not nice and the restaurant itself smelled damp like it was drying out after a flood.

Went mid week for early evening. It was quiet, nobody else in. Got three dishes and some starters. Starters were reasonable, the mains came out and the Chinese style roasted duck was definitely off. As you can see in pictures the duck is shining like salmon because it had gone off. The other picture shows the very hard pieces which were also foul. Must have been at least 4+ days old. Worst Chinese ever eaten at, been to hundreds of Chinese restaurants.

Don’t often leave reviews but it was just so so so bad and I think dangerous for people to eat. My food came cold and was put in a microwave in front of me ☠️ and the food itself wasn’t great tasting. The place smelt of damp and didn’t have a clean look and feel. My Fanta was completely flat - out the bottle. Never had such a rubbish experience in a place where you’re paying restaurant prices. £45 for two people! I should have had the courage to say I’m not eating this but I hate being rude. It’s given me such a bad stomach that’s convinced me to write this as it’s just not safe.

The Mala tang is a must. The best out of most Chinese restaurants in Sheffield.

I ordered a seafood soup to takeaway. When I opened my order is was cauliflower stir fry... Very disappointed. The man waiting in front of me in the queue also got an incorrect order.

Such disrespectful people. I went in asking for recruitment as I saw a leaflet outside their store. But they shouted at me and were extremely rude saying that go find the person who put the leaflet there and I’m like it’s stuck to your restaurant door. What do they mean?

Had a delicious hotpot buffet here for a group of 7, food was excellent and we also enjoyed the karaoke room upstairs!

Very nice service. A small minus is the poor English of one of the waiters who misled me. I ate there for the first time and the food disappointed me. Even though the soups tasted good, looked like baby jelly. The main course wss a douche of overcooked meat and artificial powdered sauces. £44 just for food for two is definitely not a price for this standard. The place had pleasant music, Decorations and flowers were artificial, which in my opinion should not be used in a restaurant.

Second time we’ve been here for hotpot. Really good value since you get soft drinks and skewers included. The hotpot included loads of vegetarian options as well. And you can go for some karaoke upstairs after!

Malatang was made into spicy mix. I called and asked. Let me ask the boss. He told me to call my boss. He said the boss would give me suggestions. His attitude was so bad that I said I didn’t want it. The first time he hung up on me and the second time he asked me to call the boss’s phone number 666.

Large portions, relatively delicious, very good service

The staff were so accommodating and kind, they even offered us free karaoke! If I come to Sheffield again, I will come back! The food was of course amazing.

What a find! LOVED what we ordered - fish and aubergine. Fresh, great portions, and delicious. There’s two menus - the sizhuan and a regular British chinese. We ordered from the former and were so pleased. Lovely wait staff and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Food is really good, Chef prepares the food based on your liking to suit your taste palate. Have loads of choices to select, truly authentic Chinese food. One menu to suit non spicy customers and other to suit who prefer spicy 🔥 food. service is excellent, staff are friendly and happy to explain about the dish and preparation. Must visit place in city centre.

We had hot pot on a cold day, and it was super comforting. Both the Spicy and Chicken (non-spicy) soup were delicious, and the buffet spread was sumptuous. There are BBQ/grilled items on the menu as well. The servers were helpful and friendly, and they kindly assisted with my friend's request to have a separate pot by herself. After our meal, we got to learn that there are karaoke rooms upstairs! Worth a return visit.

Came for hotpot and had a great time. Good value for money considering the quality of the food and that you can order as much as you like! Very tempting but we were stuffed after our first round. Servers were friendly and attentive, although we did come quite early for dinner and began to pick up as we were leaving. Would happily come back for hotpot again or try some meals on the regular menu.

First time here, four of us all together and I can say as this was our first hot pot, we all looooved it. Food was amazing and service was great! The lady I’m guessing the manager could see we wasn’t 100% sure what to do but she stepped in (kind of motherly) put food in that would take longer to cook and a few other bits and told us the amount of time to leave stuff in for. We will all be back! Also we loved the fortune cookie at the end, don’t get them much anymore 🫶🏻

They keep playing like pop rock chinese songs. I like it, but I couldn't shazam it. The basement toilet has low lighting, so it can be kind of scary, anyways the food. It's really savory so it's really good. I RECCOMEND THE DUMPLINGS!! and also fried rice with beef.

Nice place, but a bit too overpriced for me. A basic meal for three people costs us £100😳. If I remember well, we had fried rice, tjauw min, saté, roast pork fried rice, tjap tjoy and a lobster (£40 - reasonably priced and tasted great!), but this meant that although it tasted lovely, I paid £60 for pretty basic dishes😔.

Last week my sister and I went to this wonderful restaurant as we were staying for a competition nearby. The food and service was so good that we decided to come and eat here every day. The staff are super nice and welcoming and the food is amazing, filled with flavour. Highly recommend! 10/10

Ordered a Lamb Chop Suey soup. Got some weird fish soup that tasted horrible and it looked nothing like the picture. I have had chop suey before in other Chinese places and it was definitely not what I ordered. They refused to give me a refund but offered a 30% discount on a £10 dish and a drink and prawn crackers. I only paid as I was super hungry.

On a trip to Sheffield from out of town, found the staff really friendly, food was excellent, highly recommended

Maggie provided absolutely amazing service during both while dining and when we went to do kareoke, she was lovely and I absolutely enjoyed it. Service was 10/10, food was delicious while also cheap, the restaurant atmosphere was delightful and we will be returning 🥰🥰 thank you so much

Me and my partner decided to try this place as I hadn't been for over a decade when it was called Jumbo's. When we walked in there were barely any people in the restaurant for a typical Saturday night. Realising that their priority was most likely their takeaway service. The decor is a little tired and dated but we didn't mind that all if the service and staff are good. We decided to try the vegetarian menu. We got the set menu which was probably a bad move. The staff were friendly and nice enough. The set menu for two was £19.80pp. Which equated to -1 sharing plate -3 mains - 1 egg fried rice. My biggest issue was the starter of "dim sum dumpling selection" we received only two dumplings of the dumpling selection. At the time I wish I'd have said something. The food was nice though but I was just especially disappointed with the starter. We were also only given a spoon and fork and no chopsticks on the table. I know I could've asked for these. Again, the mains were okay. Egg fried rice good, aubergine fried nest good. But the honey and lemon "chicken" looked and smelled awful. I tried it and it was passable but really not a nice texture or smell. For what we paid and what we got, I don't think the set menu is good value for money. Another bug bare of mine is that it's cash only. It's now required by law in some countries to have card payment available. So my partner had to get cash out. When he went to pay he wasn't given his correct change. He counted and checked the bill, then literally just said "excuse me..." And before he could finish his sentence the lady serving then gave him the correct amount, as she had the money in her hand but hadn't given it to him straight away? I and my partner did not feel 💯 after eating here, but it is what it is. Maybe if we went back we'd just pick direct rather than the set menu.

For my first meal in Xiefei, the hot and sour noodles and Yibin noodles are so authentic, you must try them.

Arrived and greeted by a pleasant man. Drinks were fine and reasonably priced. We decided to order a set meal for 2 and a separate meal for myself. The starters OK, I wouldn't recommend the prawn toast very greasy and doughy. The mains came out at various times, meaning we were left with chicken chow mein, going cold whilst waiting for rice (which never arrived) the chow mein was nice. However the spring vegetables were just beansprouts mainly. Customer service wasn't good and we had to ask for drinks and additional sharing plates. Just made the whole experience generally unenjoyable. The staff appeared to prefer serving regulars and actually prioritised them over us.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. Worth a visit. My only comment is the chilli chicken was 70% chilli and 30% chicken. It may be meant to be cooked in this way but didn't seem right.
