The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Had the mixed sweet and sour balls and salt and chilli chips both were dark brown on the outside but soggy and full of grease on the inside Very weird taste

Nice clean place. Normally I get 2 battered sausages for myself but tonight I got Curry Egg Fried Rice with Spring Onion added. It was so tasty. The lads in there are friendly and efficient. You can see right through to the back and can see the place is spotless. Treasure City is at the end of my street but I prefer walking up North Road to Star Moon, I'd rather spend my money there. Each time I go in I see the seaweed in the heated shelf and never had anything like it in my life but for some reason I'd like to give it a little try but don't want to spend £4.50 on it in case I don't like it. I wonder if they'd let me have a little try 🤔

We changed from our regular Chinese we had been going to for years after it went downhill. We firstly tried a few others, one not far from China spice and 2 more in the area, the one not far from China spice , 5 was probably the worst Chinese we’ve ever had, greasy and every dish was very very sweet, almost inedible. Thank goodness we persevered and tried China spice, we have ordered 5 times now and has been on point every single time, always fresh and steaming hot. Not at all greasy and sits well in your tummy without the horrid feeling you get after the overload of msg, salt and sugar and grease you get from a lot of other Chinese establishments, also to add the owner is very friendly and accommodating, a really nice guy 👌

Ordered delivery. Got prices on the phone. When the delivery turned up they wanted nearly £40 more and denied the previously quoted prices. Unhelpful attitude. Obviously scammers relying on hungry customers just accepting their figures. DO NOT USE.

What has happened to the Jade House. I used to order regulary for many many years. Well, after a long time, I ordered a home delivery...the salt content in all the food, especially the gravy, the satay sauce and the chow mein is absolutely horrendous. The high levels of salt cannot be safe for human consumption.. shocking. If you value your blood pressure and kidneys, stay away...

Unsure why there are so many bad reviews. Been ordering from here for 3 years. Great food every time!

I was a kid when this take away opened in 1969 and the food from day one has always been first class. My wife is Asian and very particular about her food and is bowled over by the quality of the food that Hong Kong take away serve.

Very poor service, called to arrange a family meal to be delivered, advised would be about 90 minutes. No delivery after 150 min so called to ask what was afoot. Advised that our order had been cancelled, no real reason given other than they were busy. Give this establishment a miss as not reliable to say the least

Worst Chinese take away ever ! Avoid going here till they improve quality of the food. Highly recommend lotus house on caerglas road (but ended up trying here as we forgot to bring cash).
