Came here again with my local walking group for our annual Christmas meal. This place never disappoints and the food is always top quality along with great service. Had an enjoyable meal with great service, looking forward to returning again very soon.

Awful service and the very long wait for our dinner was unbelievable. We watched the front desk for takeaway being made a priority. The takeaway service was much better and this is what we should have done. We were booked in at 18:00 and by 20:00 with only starters serviced half our party had to leave due to hungry restless children. The waiter asked us when placing our order should he bring the children’s food with our starters and we said yes. The children did not get their food. By 20:15 dinner was served. We walked out having paid a mighty bill with lots of food left and our set meal that included coffee unserved & food untouched with our plates not cleared away. At 21:05 My husband paid the bill speaking with a very rude lady who was not bothered whatsoever that 3hrs after our arrival we had just had the worst dining experience. The only good thing about tonight was the friends & family we dined with. Very poor & never again will we frequent this establishment. A real shocker of what should have been a great night only resulted in disappointment. 😡

Great little find in Tettenhall Village. We are new to the area and are trying local restaurant/takeaways out. We had a takeaway from this place and were pleased.

I visited Minhs recently, admittedly I am not a lover of Chineses cuisine and was dragged here by my friend! Unfortunately the experience lived upto my poor expectations! There were over 200 dishes on the menu, I could hear Gordon Ramsey screaming in my ear that this was not a good sign! After ordering the seabass, a firm favourite, I sat back and waited quelling the doubt in my mind. My friends food arrived and as the waitress plonked the food on the table she looked in my direction briefly and told me that 'we're out of seabass BTW' and off she went. I picked up the menu and quickly scanned the many dishes, feeling flustered I ordered a chicken stir fry, at this point I just wanted to catch up with my friend who was already halfway through her main. Eventually my meal was slapped onto the table in front of me. It looked like a dogs dinner! An unappetising mess the chicken was anaemic and tasted like rubber! To make things worse when I complained, after much persuasion from my friend, I was going to let it go the resturant was full and I wanted to avoid a scene. But a scene I got, the waiter then the manager proceeded to argue the toss with me, completely disregarding my dissatisfaction with the unappetising mess placed unceremoniously in front of me! This argument continued for approximately 10 minutes, the manager made a sweeping statement .....'noone else is complainjng' as he pointed out the other customers chomping away! To say I felt embarrassed would be an understatement, embarrassed and blooming hungry! He eventually backed down and took the dish off our bill! I left the resturant with an empty stomach and after experiencing such poor customer service a very bad taste in my mouth! Won't be going to Minging sorry Minhs again!

Management completely dismissed a complaint which we raised in regards to the steak as i believed this was not fillet steak. Manager asked other customers in the restaurant for there opinion on my complaint- Which was completely inappropriate. Manager was only bothered that we paid for the food and disregarded the fact the food was different to what was on the menu. Also refused and was unable to provide allergen of food contents. Never had such poor customer service.

I haven't used Minh's for some time and the first thing that struck me was how much the prices had increased. Never mind, it was a treat so I thought we'd order a takeaway for delivery..... "we don't deliver on a Saturday" looks like I'll need to scrape the ice of the car then! On arrival, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant was almost empty. With this being what should be a busy weekend (just before Christmas) the alarm bells should have started ringing. The first thing that struck me was that the prawn crackers were stale (like chewing cardboard) if you can't get prawn crackers right, it doesn't bode well for the rest of the meal. We ordered three starters. The hot and spicy chicken wings were always very good here and in the past they were covered in an extremely light batter with finely chopped spring onions and chillies. Now they look like something Colonel Sanders would serve, and the batter was thick and greasy. No spring onions, just roughly chopped brown onions and if there were chillies in there, I couldn't find them. The rest of the meal was ok but instantly forgettable (you can't really go wrong with minced pork and lettuce). Three very ordinary starters for £20 and some 'complementary' stale prawn crackers. I doubt very much I'll be rushing back.

Lovely family meal tonight. Great food and service. Decor improved since last visit and a friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Very rude guy. Ignorant and disrespectful. Made us sit for 5 minutes when clearly the restaurant was half empty. When we we were taken inside we were asked to sit at a table next to the toilet in the hallway even though there were multiple empty tables. We had to leave as our request to change the table was met with a careless no. Despite spending no more than 7 minutes in this place our clothes stunk of greasy food we luckily never had to eat, as we left.

I've been coming here for a long time now and have always enjoyed great food and service, so, came here with some friends of mine from my local walking group for my 50th birthday on Wednesday evening and I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint, quality food and top quality service. Thank you very much Minh's for making my 50th birthday a very special one, will definitely be returning again soon!! :-)

We visited here for the first time, arrived for 6:30 booking on Friday night, no one else in there fir around another 45 mins. The food was good, hot, served by a nice young lady. Great selection of food too, the menu was vast. The hot stater for two £11 was excellent value. The decor and ambience though is very dated, the experience could be very different with a refresh.

Really disappointed in our family outing for my son's birthday. Service very poor.. some food very nice however some not so good.. manager/ owner not happy with criticism! Was never asked if all was ok with our meal. A quick £100 for a Tuesday night meal. Wasn't value for money. Will not go back again and I will advise friends and family not to go!.

I came for my birthday last night the starters were ok had to have my duck reheated as it wasn’t warm enough my friends Singapore main was dry and had to send it back and cancel the order this isn’t what you expect for restaurant prices unfortunately a disappointing visit.

We visited last week on Sunday lunchtime and had the meal for four persons. It was simply perfect. Excellent waitress. Amazingly on Sunday lunchtime they have a two course lunch for just £6.95. Can't wait to check it out. This chinese restaurant is really worth supporting.

Great food and vegetarian options. We visited with our American Asian friend so they can try British Chinese food and they enjoyed it very much. They did comment it was hard to eat from a plate rather than a bowl. Food was lovely. Staff very helpful in answering questions in what they have. Will visit again.

After being recommended I thought I would try this takeaway. Delivery was late and food needed warming. Chow Mein was very shiny from excess oil and there was a film of oil across the top of the curry. 2 other items we had were a tad flavourless. Prawn crackers were nice and crisp tho! Overall it was disappointing but we ate it due to hunger. 🤣

First take away from here on the recommendation of a friend.Telephone order, delivered for £1 now that is good.Slight hiccup with delivery timing, one phonecall put that right and the whole order was then delivered bang on time as requested.if a place is good, I post on here, If there is a problem, i try to speak to the boss or manager, to enable them to sort it. 9 times out of 10 I find this is the best approach, as it was in this case.Thank you Minhs, much appreciated. Can not complete further, the option for takeaway is not there.

The food was great. It was nice a warm and the spring rolls are unmatched. But one thing was that the did mess some pf the orders up and we left waiting for 25 minutes but apart from that it was overall pretty good.

Encouraged by a pal, who uses the take away service, we decided to have our second Chinese delivery since the first lockdown in March. We ordered a set meal for three. WOW !!! enough to feed an army was deliverd. Whilst there was a slight hicup over delivery timing, one phone call and all was made right, the order came to time, piping hot, thoroughly enjoyable and excelent value for money. Will I be ordering again ? You bet your life I will and it won't be too far into the future. BIG thankyou for your service.

We have just collected a takeaway and it was probably the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Ordered lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken in batter, special foo yung and chips. The chicken for the lemon chicken was so dried up it was practically non existent. Completely tasteless food and incredibly disappointing! We will definitely not be ordering from here again and would urge anyone else not to bother!! Try Mr Chef in albrighton instead!!! Lovely food!!

just ordered a take away and got to say it was vile!! asked for ribs in syrup and got plain dried out ribs. no sauce at all. chips just about luke warm. the Singapore chow mein according to their website is meant to be spicy.... no spice at all. and god knows what one of the meats was. at a guess I would say it was a slimy sausage type substance!!!. absolute waste of money!!

I placed a large order for delivery. The order was short of one meal - I rang to say that a meal was missing and was asked if I would like credit for another time. I refused stating that I had a guest who did not have his meal. I was advised to return to the restaurant to collect the meal. I explained that this was not accectable as all of my other guest were waiting to eat, the restaurant then agreed to deliver. The food in itself was average with the chips being cold. I will not be using again.

Minh's managed to squeeze us in on a busy Friday night after a resturant in Bridgnorth had messed up our booking for my mum's birthday meal. Thank you again to them for saving our evening and accommodating a party of 8 at such short notice.The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the service. The staff were fantastic with the young children who with us and we all have an excellent meal in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere.

The food here was excellent. It was full with flavour and it it was presented nicely. But the service all of a sudden slowed down and the main course took HALF AN HOUR to be delivered to us. The poster advertising the Chinese new year said that there would be a raffle. We were there up until 10:30pm. If we stayed any longer we would have been there after 11:00pm. They could have atleast started giving out the tickets earlier. Finally, the table that we were at was a bit to close to the singer that they had. Mainly because he had two massive speakers and we were practically right next to him.

However, what we received as takeaway food bears little resemblance to what we've eaten inside. In fact, much of it was left as it was all-but-inedible. Certainly not the celebratory meal we intended.Starters:-Chicken Satay Skewers - dry, overcooked and chewy chicken meat (I mean, like leather/rubber chewy) and a modicum of sauce that tasted very little of peanut but full of chilli.Salt & Pepper Spare Ribs - almost devoid of taste, save for the heat of chilli ... again! Cooked off the bone, it was more like casseroled pork ... but without the flavour infused by a good sauce of decent seasoning.Prawn Crackers - fresh, crunchy and as expected.Main Courses:-Fillet Steak in a Cantonese Sauce - perfectly cooked fillet steak, genuinely cooked to perfection ... in a sauce almost entirely devoid of taste with copious amounts of unpalatable onions verging on raw. Beef & Mushroom Curry - again, the beef was perfect ... but the dish was entirely unmemorable; bland beyond belief.Egg Fried Rice - stodgy, overcooked rice with a modicum of egg. Tasteless, boring and unforgettable.The only thing that brought this meal to life was the Kikkoman soy sauce (which we provided) as it was almost entirely devoid of anything resembling oriental flavours.A very, VERY disappointing celebratory meal at a premium price. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

I last reviewed in March this year and what I would say was my well tried and tested rock solid Chinese meal has now become a complete disappointment and I won’t be rushing back again, I’m looking for somewhere new. I’ve always had at least one Mihns per month for years. So what was so bad, just about everything. 1) Satay skewers - overcooked. 2) rice - stodgy with lumps like rice I’d cook3) steak in black pepper - I was suspicious as soon as I saw how much steak was in it compared to normal. It was foul is the only to describe it. 4) spring rolls - nasty stale beansprouts inside which were horrible. I don’t just write bad reviews as you can on my profile, I write honest reviews based on experience. In hindsight I should have rung the restaurant to point out my dissatisfaction.

Based on reviews chose this Chinese for a takeaway meal,which failed to impress -thin and watery flavours and food. One of the worst ribs we've eaten. The rest were insipid and poor quality-seemed to be thrown together. Poor value for money. Won't be returning!

Whenever we want to go out for a meal that we know will not disappoint we chose Minh's. Everytime we visit the food is incredibly fresh and tasty whilst the restaurant is always clean and welcoming. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and always make the evening that bit more special. We'll with a visit.

I’ve eaten here many times and normally really enjoy and have reviewed to this effect. This time wasn’t so great. Chicken breast in batter was awful none of us liked it, chicken curry didn’t taste great. Normally it’s good though as I say and fast service as always, 10 Mihns it’s done

Love this place both eating in and takeaways. Food always piping hot, staff attentive although one Waiter tends to be aggressive at times. Fab choice of dishes, the satay sizzling dishes are to die for.

A large group of us went here for our Christmas works do. Very attentive staff, food was delicious. A few of us opted for the set menu, for £20 a head you get way more food than you can eat! Would definitely recommend set menu!

A party of us booked here for a pre new year's family get together. It was my first time here and possibly my last, although it was recommended by another family member who has visited several times.

Once again Minh's fails to disappoint. We have enjoyed many meals there over the years but since the arrival of small child going out is limited. Thankfully their takeaways are just as tasty. I find that takeaway chicken can be quite rubbery and tasteless but at Minhs it is always tender.

Not quite sure what’s happened to this place. We’ve been using Minh’s for around 3 years now. It was initially recommended to us and was then excellent. However, our last two take aways have been quite frankly awful. We gave them the benefit of the doubt last time, but tonight’s was terrible. I ordered a Singapore chow mein for my wife. It was tasteless, had barely any meat, with something indescribable which looked like pieces of spam! Never again!!

Has built up a good reputation for good food. Pleasant ambience in nicely appointed restaurant. Plenty of parking.

had a takeaway from here 14 /7 18 it was the worst food i have ever tasted had one mouthful had to throw in the bin all you could taste was grease no flavour it was awful i will not be going back again hope this review saves you some money

Visited for a change. Often had a takeaway which is always good, but had a sit down meal. The service was good, attentive waiter! The food was delicious! Definitely go again. Went on a Monday so it was quiet! I have no idea what it’s like on busier nights! It is always busy for takeaways thoughh, so must be highly regarded in the local area.

I’d heard good things about this place so was really excited to go for ‘date night ‘—-very let down.i ordered fillet steak Cantonese style—what arrived was a few pieces of meat & some big slices of onion in a thick sticky sauce-& a plate of thin dry chips(that cost extra)—it was £50 for our meal for two-I’ll be honest-our local takeaways food is much nicer—doubt very much we’ll be returning.food was just ok-nothing like I’d hoped for

We regularly use this restaurant for family get togethers and have many takeaways too. The food is consistently excellent and the staff are polite, helpful and unobtrusive. I cannot fault Mihns at all. Love it!

We have over the years used this restaurant many times and been pleased with food and service, however, in my opinion, the restaurant is now looking a little tired and the menu could do with a major update.

We visited Minhs for dinner with my cousin so just three of us, we chose one of their set menus which was perfect and was delicious. They were even happy to change one of the dishes for us!

The food at Minhs is so tasty and such good value for money. My friends and I recently went for a birthday meal and the staff were really friendly and the service was brilliant. Food was served in a good time, hot and good size portions! Loved it.

Ordered a takeaway - spare ribs appalling just chunks of fat thrown into a box and covered with onions- binned straight away. Deep fried prawns - tasted reheated and the batter was just soggy - binned. Mushrooms - cold. Probably only ate a quarter of it - won't be going again - Jade House in Bilbrook is definitely worth a visit !

The food serviced very slow, the beef so chewy,and when you try tell the staff they not interested, the place so tired, need face lift.

The meal was too Salty buy the service was good. It was a little overpriced it was just the salt that let the restaurant down .i did not enjoy the experience because of the SALT.

The order was wrong, but the waitress would not have it. Three of us confirmed, nicely, that the order was incorrect, but we got moaning and disbelief. Where is the humility and respect for long-standing customers? Then, the main was also wrong. More arguing from a waitress who preferred to say three customers were all in the wrong and had no ability to admit her own mistakes. We all the food that eventually arrived, it was now at the wrong time. Having eaten there over many years, the lack of quality was more than clear. We all agreed that our food was not so much authentic or even particularly enjoyable. It was less than ordinary and not worth our time, money or hunger.

I always eat Chinese from here. Normally it’s excellent but on my last visit I was overcharged to the tune of £15 which I didn’t realise until I got home and checked the menu. Be careful!

Wide menu in a clean and well presented restaurant. Party of 6 had starters and mains, all well received. Great crispy aromatic duck, and superb authentic chow meins. Chicken in black bean, and battered King prawns were excellent too. Friendly prompt service. Only downer was one of our dishes was forgotten, but in the end it didn't matter.

Obviamente no había suficiente personal para tratar con la cantidad de pedidos. Un cliente pedido su dinero debido a esperar más de una hora. Cuando llegamos a nuestra casa orden había tres artículos que faltaban, cuando mi hijo llamó para hacerles saber la operadora, dejando la conversación mantuvo tener una charla con alguien. Mi hijo iba a recoger los elementos faltantes (Minhs no ofrecen) le dijeron que el tema (tostadas de gambas) no había sido incluido en el orden original y intentó él! No se disculpa por haber volver o la larga espera. Estaremos pidiendo llevar de nuevo? Hah - no

Ha sido siempre fiable Minhs. Pero visitamos esta noche y nos pareció que el servicio pésimo. Esperamos 20 minutos para tomar dar nuestra orden y esperamos casi 2 horas para nuestra red. Al final nos fuimos antes de nuestros platos principales llegamos y optamos por la tienda de chips. Parecían estar enviando un montón de vagabundos. Una gran decepción y no volver!

Have bought takeaway from here before and always been happy enough. Late mothers day booking meant this was the only possibility of all the nearby pubs but frankly I wish we hadn't bothered. Service with a smile was not received, they even folded the tablecloth before we'd even finished our drinks. I could understand if perhaps we'd been laboriously slow but the only slowness was on there behalf and the decades between courses. The food was bland and the beef in the starter was far too chewy. The prawn crackers were the best thing we ate and thats saying something! I'd not return to sit in again and in fact I wont even return for a takeaway!

First visit here and the food was first class. Regular turnaround of people eating here. Good choice of set meals and from the menu. Drinks prices are slightly over priced but not enough to stop any further visits. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Midweek visit with friends: we arrived around 6pm. There is plenty of car parking space at the back or across the road and down the High Street. There was a queue of people collecting take outs but once you navigate the narrow hall you are taken to the back which is huge. It has open table space plus nooks and crannies for more intimate dining arrangements. I wasn't dressed particularly smartly but I was treated like an honoured guest by the friendly staff. Their supply of Chinese beer is good so I ordered Tsingtao which was refreshing and delicious. We ordered two soft shell crab and the vegetable tempura to start. Absolutely delicious. Our mains were a cod in black Bean sauce sizzler, a chicken satay sizzler and salt and pepper fried squid. We ordered fried rice, boiled rice and noodles. There was more than enough food - very generous portions. Everyone found the food delicious. The squid was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and the code soft and tangy. £68 for three people including 4 bottles of beer was great value for money. I have been to Minhs in Shifnal many times but this was my first visit to Tettenhall. I was not disappointed. The staff are great and the food is perfect for an informal better than average night out for friends or family. The range of dishes available on the menu is wide so you are not going to be bored and there is plenty of vegetarian options. A pot of green tea to finish and we all exited satiated and happy. The restaurant had filled up by the time we left. Highly recommended.

A fantastic little Chinese restaurant on the high street. Whilst working in Tettenhall my colleague and I decided to have a Chinese as there isn't a Indian restaurant nearby. And I'm very glad we tried Minhs as it is a very cosy traditional Chinese restaurant. The sharing platter to start with was awesome, beef in black bean sauce with green pepper was on par with any other information have had and the chicken chow mein was spot on. Good service and I thought with what was served well priced.

Nice Chinese restaurant situated amongst the shops of Tettenhall village. Been here twice in last 4 weeks. No problem getting a table on either occasion (once on a Friday, the other a Tuesday). Service was quick and our waiter was so polite that it felt like he punctuated every sentence with "thank you" though that's probably not a bad thing. Food was great and prices were on par with any other sit down Chinese/Thai/Indian restaurant. I will return and would recommend to others.

This Chinese restaurant can be found in the nice area of Tettenhall, unfortunately its location is really all it has going for it. The service is good but the food is very average and overpriced.

Nice meal, selection of food very comprehensive and very tasty. A Tuesday night and very quiet which I suspected would be the case before arriving, service was very good, staff friendly.Would probably head back there but on an evening closer to or on a weekend.

Tasty meal, huge piece of cod, sweet and sour pork and rice. Pleasant surroundings, very clean. Service good however I found the waitress a bit too chatty. Now I don't mind a bit of talk but as I found her a little difficult to understand and she obviously had the same problem with me, I just felt I was being a bit interrogated. Too many questions which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. She is lovely and friendly and maybe I was tired.

As a couple, with family or with friends, Minh's never fails to impress. The food is always full of flavour, incredibly fresh and uses quality ingredients. I'd say this Chinese is second to none. The staff are attentive and very friendly and it is very good value for money. I would highly recommend this place for quality, honest Chinese food! Me and my girlfriend are regular visitors now and have tried a wide range of things on the menu. I can honestly say we have never had anything that wasn't top notch. Keep up the good work Minh's!

Minhs is a regular takeaway option for most people in tettenhall! I've never had a bad takeaway from there or meal in. Proper Chinese restaurant. My regular dishes are Cantonese style sweet and sour king prawn and the duck pancakes! Staff are really friendly!

You can't beat a Minhs, it's top drawer. I am known as the original Gwailo by the main waiter, a true gent. i was in there the night Shaun Ryan got put through the paper partition, oh did we laugh. A good friend of mine, Hong Kong John, claims to have eat here every night for 18 months, and he actually did!

8 of us went there for a family birthday on the 5/3/2016 ,we had set menu E and all of said what a great choice it was with a large variety of dishes, can,t fault any of the food or serving staff who were very friendly (even gave my mum a cake ). We were booked in at 5pm and the place had only just opened but have to say for the first hour it was very cold could do with warming the place up a bit first.

Lovely evening meal. We just popped in on the off chance they had a table free, and they did.The venue was chilly so we asked for the air con to be turned off (2° outside..)They messed with it a bit but I wasn't able to take my coat off for the entire duration of the meal due to it being too cold.They also had the same one song on repeat ... All.. Evening..(so annoying)When the starter came (squid and spring rolls) they were absolutely delicious.The main was equally just as good, if not better, and the portion sizes were decent. We probably had enough for another meal the next day!I would have given it a 5 star rating, but for me, the temperature in the room was a big let down. I would happily order a take out again as the food was brilliant, but would be less likely to go and eat in during winter.

No need to have starters here the mains are quite big - although it would not be a visit to Mihns without the yuk sung - beautiful. Parking right outside - or just round the corner. Very attentive staff and if you do not have time to stay they do take away. Classy food - better than your average Cantonese.

Outstanding food in a traditional restaurant. Extensive range of quite stunning dishes all beautifully presented, served and managed by simply brilliant staff. Really good range of traditional Chinese and local beers. Lovely table settings, tables were exceptional well presented and have the wow factor. There is an air of finesse with the food, its simply done and simply stunning....Caring and considerate staff, nothing is too much... dishes can be varied to personal taste. Dine in or take away this is always a busy venue.

Our local chinese restaurant… the food here is gorgeous whether it be dining in the restaurant or just a take away. The beef in black bean is excellent but to be honest we have never had a dish that we didn't like. There is plenty to chose from on the menu and the price tag is reasonable too.

We are so lucky to have such an excellent restaurant in Tettenhall. There is an impressive choice of dishes and money saving deals with the Set Menus which allow the flexibility to change or omit dishes to suit your personal taste.Because of it's popularity it can be very busy and there may be a delay between courses but this isn't always a bad thing. The seating area is quite narrow and you can sometimes feel that you are sat on top of other diners. We had one meal spoilt by a very raucous family but generally it isn't a big problem. The Staff are friendly and helpful

Love the duck in this place...keeps me coming back...the waiting time can be somewhat long..but if you are with the right people it is well worth the wait..

Have visited Minhs on many occasions to eat in and take away, always good food with excellent service.Deep fried stredded chilli beef (cannot remember exact title) or rice noodles Singapore style my favourites.

visited on the 23 /10/2015 the service we had was very poor the food arrived 45mins between courses when it arrived it was cold ask for it to be change was told the dish was warm ,we told to replace it as the curry had a skin on it this the first time in 20 years going out with friends that we did not leave a tip we will never go back again the standards are poor

Not for the first time recently Minhs seem to have no idea how long it takes to cook their own set meal and equally no idea that one is waiting even though they have been told and taken your money. Tonight I arrived as instructed 20 minutes after ordering to be asked to wait. A couple that came in after me ordered food and also sat down.Several meals came and went but two or three remained uncollected. After 20 minutes the couple who arrived after me left with their meal.I was just about to ask how this could be the case when a young man looked at one of the meals that had been sitting there for 25 minutes and offered it as my order. This is not the first time recently that the service has been awful and I have been kept waiting for over half an hour after the agreed collection time. On other occasions I have been given food that was cold when I got home.The once excellent. Minhs has had a number of staff changes in recent times and alas has simply "gone to e dogs". Such a shame.The usually excellent food quality has also deteriorated recently especially the quality of the meat. Minhs seems to have lost its way.

Rubbish service here for take away. Last three orders I've made have been missing an item and when you call to complain they just say 'come and pick one up'. Tonight when I called the male member of staff laughed down the phone at me when I asked if someone could deliver to us. The food is only mediocre too so it's been a help in deciding that we will now look for an alternative take away.

My daughter and I went to this restaurant last Thursday evening. The woman who served us was so rude she made us feel uncomfortable. My daughters coke was flat and when I asked her to change it she was so abrupt! Felt like serving us was an inconvenience to her. Starters were dry and tasteless, main was a little better but by then we just couldn't wait to get out of the restaurant. The restaurant decor is tired and the walls are covered in dirty marks. I will never go back to this Chinese, such a terrible experience

Great food and very polite staff. The yuk sung - both meat and veg taste better every time. What blew us all away was the vegetarian mock chicken we ordered!!! Amazed it wasn't meat- absolutely delicious

Had some great meals here. The staff are always very welcoming and the food is always superb. Order less rice than you think you need as portion sizes are quite large. The yuk sung is fantastic even if you're not keen on pork.

We came here for a meal for my moms birthday. Me and my partner had a set menu which was delicious. I could but fault the food. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. It wasn't busy as it was a week night.

Had a nice takeaway Friday from Minhs, chilli beef was tasty and so was the chowmein. Nice food from the Tettenhall make and bake fair today as well. Had the sweet and sour balls and chowmein again.

Tasty food, but there is nicer Chinese food available in Wolverhampton. Still, it's friendly enough and the food might be better when they are less busy. Might give it another go.

I have always been impressed with the take away Chinese from here so I decided to go and experience the restaurant and was equally pleased. We had a set menu and the food was exquisite! It came out on time, staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and excellent value for the money. We all left with belly's full and satisfied. The decor within the restaurant is old fashioned and like being in an old fashioned 80's living room, but don't let that put you off as I have not once been disappointed with the food and now our friends travel for a treat and a great night out at Minh's in tettenhall. Proud to have such a fab restaurant on our doorstep where can proudly take our friends and family.

Yes. This is a wonderful takeaway and next time I'd like to eat in the restaurant itself.

we had loads of time chinese in this restaurant in Tettenhall. I prefer take aways, as the place is a bit squashed, and didn't enjoy the fact of being too close to other tables, but the service is very good, and people are very nice, and the food has nice but not too strong flavours

Great food, particularly love the chicken satay! All food fresh and well presented! Would highly recommend. Did have to complain about not receiving an item but dealt with well and credit received.

Been several times now and seems to get better each time. I think they serve the best Cantonese food in Wolverhampton, never had a bad meal yet. Staff are really hard working and so pleasant. Nice ambience and reasonable prices. Can't wait till next time

The food here is okay and the staff are quick and friendly. The main issue for us was the seating arrangements, not enough space inside.

Another fab Chinese New Year celebration meal at Minh's in Tettenhall.If you have never been to one you really should get booked in for next year.In the Year of the Sheep, we joined Minh's last night with a group of six (the celebrations continue again tonight and tomorrow) to celebrate the Chinese New Year.The food was superb frankly and well worth the £29.50 price per head.It included yummy Yuk Sung and a taster of steamed garlic king prawns as the joint starters.In the second course we had skewered chicken, deep fried crispy wonton, seaweed, spare ribs and a most unusual salt and pepper soft shell crab, which was the highlight of the meal for me.Then, before the main course, there was quite a delay while the entertainment prepared itself, although a gentle magician in Tommy Cooper style and a live vocalist kept people occupied throughout.But the wait for the main event, a traditional Lion Dance, was well worth it. Highly entertaining (very Chinese) drums and dancing while the Lion (which most of us might recognise as a dragon) was tempted by the lettuce hanging from the ceiling. Which he duly ate and scattered among many of the customers for good luck!Main course consisted of sizzling fillet steak in Cantonese sauce, stir fried King Prawn, Cantonese Char Sui Pork (very sweet and tasty), Kung Po Chicken and Pineapple Fried Rice.All in all, a delicious meal, though with all the fun and games (which included a free prize draw with fab looking prizes) it did mean we were still eating late into the evening and the whole event did not finish until almost midnight.Who cares. It's only once a year (or maybe three times in three consecutive days for Minh's) and great fun.Highly recommend you book in for next year's!

I know this place can do so much is better but went on Valentine's day and had a terrible experience. No prior notice when booking that you could only order from the set menu. Waited over 40 minutes for the main meal which was not up to standard then had to ask twice for the bill. Would not go again.
