The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Everything looked deep fried burnt and taste burnt . Totally terrible, disgusting, and inedible, one word DIABOLICAL. I have gave them the benefit of doubt since the most excellent Vin kee shut but can't believe how bad the food is.

Went for an evening meal after a long time without being able to go to a restaurant. Pleased to report we weren't disappointed. We were seated promptly at a table for two and were immediately asked if we would like a drink. The server was very attentive as it wasnt the busiest evening, even though it was a Saturday. The menu itself is very extensive, with set meals as well as a la carte. We opted for a la carte. Our starters were Wonton soup(9/10), Butterfly King Prawns(9/10), salt & pepper squid(10/10) and salt & pepper ribs(7/10). This is due to a bit of "frozen" aftertaste on the ribs. After this our mains arrived, 2 portions of egg fried rice(one is enough for two people), beef in oyster sauce(7/10), again unfortunately a bit of "frozen" aftertaste on the beef but the sauce was delicious and the beef very tender. Also had the XO Squid + Prawns which were amazing(10/10). All in all a very good meal and hope the management will look into my comments on the ribs and beef. My ratings are only deducted for the food not being quite as good as it could have been. Definitely be back.

Ordered prawn wantons, no prawn in it at all, could not eat. Salt and pepper ribs, no meat on them, all fat and portion so small. Ordered chicken & mushroom with chips and fried rice, arrived and was mushroom soup instead of chicken and mushroom. Called to complain, they did to be fair bring the correct main meal, on arrival gave them the wantons and chips back as they were inedible. I must say the chicken and mushroom also not great and the fried rice was just disgusting, it was like mush. OMG this was the worst chinese we have ever had. What is it with chinese takeaways these days, can not find a decent one. This one is hands down the WORST. Dont order from here. Currently making a slice of toast. I don't think the local foxes would eat it eaither.

We booked on the basis of reviews and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and so reasonably priced. I ate far too much but we couldn’t leave anything- it was amazing. Quick, efficient service and the place was packed (a good sign of its popularity)

I spent a weekend in York and came across this Chinese takeaway by chance – and I’m so glad I did! The staff were incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious, freshly made, and arrived quickly. Definitely worth a visit!

We waited over an hour for our delivery. Food arrived tepid. We'd said we didn't want sweet & sour sauce with our pancake rolls, but still got charged for them! Also said we did not want prawn crackers, but they still delivered them. Such a waste!

Food was not hot, prawn crackers tasted of old oil. All 3 of us said the same.

Ordered food from here on the 20th December. The food was delicious, the best I have had since moving to Brighton. Singapore noodles, chicken balls, were very filling and the quality was top notch. The delivery was quick and the staff were friendly on the phone. Would highly recommend.

We have been ordering from this takeaway for ages and all I can say is that they are continuously improving, excellent food plus quick service especially when you ordered in store.

Ordered online very early to be delivered at 19:00, 19:20 food hadn’t arrived, rang them to find where food was and a very rude woman said it should be here as driver had left at 19:10, 19:50 still hadn’t received it so rang again and was told he should have delivered it, it arrived at 19:53 and was freezing cold. Driver told us that he had 3 other deliveries before us that they made him do. They didn’t care that the food was stone cold, no apology for the nearly an hour late delivery or the cold food, she spoke to me as if it was my fault…. Absolutely disgusting service… AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE …….

Absolutamente sensacional. El mejor chino en Wigan. Ordeno regularmente de wonderwok y es para morirse. Familia feliz 10 / 10 Singapur chow mein 10 / 10 Sui mei 8 / 10 (caro para lo que es) Chow mein de ternera 10 / 10 Exquisito pollo con chile dulce 10 / 10 ¡Estos son solo algunos de mis favoritos!

One of the best Chinese shops i’ve ever tasted, i don’t think i would like any other. All the other bad reviews are definitely not true! Orders are always right as i have been going here since i was really really young (i am a young customer, being best friends with the shops owner daughter.) the conditions are very clean and tidy as i have been in the back, as i stated i am the shops owner daughter best friend. The phone calls i’ve heard are always kind and polite, it’s such a shame people lie about the services and quality, RECOMMEND!
