Honestly the worst food I have ever had.. so bad even the fox wouldn't eat it

Last nights re heated chips. Chicken balls absolutely shocking and very poor quality batter all burnt. Avoid this place. It used to be good back on the day but it’s gone well down hill. Peeking city in bingley is the one to use. Also food is freezing.

Awful place. Over one hour late and flat cold food.

ORDERED FOOD FOR MY FAMILY WHO CAME FROM OUT OF AREA TO SEE US WAITED 2 AND A HALF HOUR FOR COLD FOOD AND HALF OF IT MISSING, WONT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN 👎

Always order from happy gardens. Lovely meal every time. Quick service too and pleasant staff

Dont order of just eat as they offer things and say there's a problem with just eat and you haven't payed for the extras and have the phone put down on you

Not a bad meal... but guys whats going on with the spare ribs ? They are tiny ! You literally grabbed 3 full ribs and chopped them into bits to make it go further ... this is a shame , I would have happily given this review 5 star of the ribs were proper.. apart from that everything was lovely , thank you

Not So Happy Garden I ordered vegetarian spring onion and bean sprout chow mein, which was advertised as suitable for vegetarians, only to be given duck chow mein. This is unacceptable, I choose not to eat meat, but what if I was allergic to it ?? Luckily I noticed it before I ate any, it would've been very upsetting to eat duck by accident. Also, our food took two hours to come, and was pretty much cold by the time we got it !!! It's such a shame as the mushroom and mixed vegetable sweet and sour I dish I had was really nice, and the spring rolls were really nice too. These are the only reasons I'm giving what I believe to be a generous 2 stars.

I ordered special fried rice chips n curry sauce there was plenty of chips and the friend rice was a great size aswell and tasted delicious big curry sauce aswell excellent value for the money I will definitely be ordering again thank you! And compliments to the chef xx

Just ordered up to Eldwick AGAIN. It is a fair distance from where I live but honestly it is the best Chinese food around. Always on time, always hot food and always delicious. The delivery guy is a top man too and always goes that extra way to deliver up my annoying drive. Plus this time free spring rolls AND free chicken wings (which are lovely btw). Thanks again guys.

Love this takeaway! My kids favourite. They always have duck in orange sauce. Chilli beef and aromatic crispy duck also great! We have been many times, always good.

We ordered a takeaway a couple of months ago....food was good but 2 hours wait and repeatedly told it was on the way. Decided to give them another chance tonight. Ordered through Just Eat at 6.24pm. Told it would be delivered at 7.40pm. Phone calls weren't going through....just ending. Went through Just Eat where it said they weren't taking orders. Informed them the delivery was late and got a text saying it would be 8.15pm. It's now 8.40pm and still waiting. Definitely won't be using them again and if you're hungry and wanting a quick delivery don't use this place.

I will NEVER order from this take away ever again. They never deliver on time, in some instances being over 2 hours late. The last order was the last straw. I called them to ask where the delivery was. They said it was on its way. I live locally so that's like 10 minutes away for me. But an hour later and the food STILL HAD NOT ARRIVED!! Now I ordered through Just Eat so when I contacted them, they said that on their system this take away had registered the order as delivered. So not only did the restaurant lie to me, its customer, they also lied to Just Eat as well!! I have CCTV at my home so I can certainly prove that they did not deliver when they said they did to Just Eat. Just Eat have been an amazing service, no complaints about them at all. But this take away on the other hand, I do not recommend and will be taking my custom elsewhere.

Food is alright but the service is terrible. We placed an order at 6:15 and were told that it would be delivered by 7:15. at 7:30 we called to find out where it was and they told us the driver had set off (we live 5 minutes away). 30 minutes later and still no food!! We tried over 20 times to call them and no answer. Eventually we contact Just Eat to complain, They looked into it and The Happy Garden had logged the order as complete. We said that we wanted our money back and to make a complaint (which Just eat thought was appropriate as we have CCTV that shows no body delivered anything). Surprisingly our order arrives 20 minutes later at 8:35 2hrs 20 minutes after placing the order and 1hr 20 minutes late!!!!

Don't order with them through JustEat. Unless you order 24hrs in advance. Waiting over 2.5 hours. Unacceptable.

Best Chinese I have ever had thankyou

Worst meal we have had from here unfortunately. OK sauce was tasteless, although chips were nicely cooked. If trying to cut down on costs it has backfired, as we will not return.

Ordered food only to be told cash only, this is the third Chinese takeaway in the Bingley area that I have ordered food at only to be told that they have an unhygienic practice of only accepting cash. With the invisible deadly virus still very much amongst us I decided to cancel my order owing to my concerns regarding their low hygiene standards.

Food is always fantastic, piping hot and delicious. Always on time of even early sometimes. We won't order from anywhere else.

Been using this takeaway for a few years now and never had a bad meal, happy friendly staff who prepare your order quickly even though is very busy. They have a great selection of traditional food, tonight I ordered the hot and spicy Tom yum soup, house special fried rice, foo young special and a portion of curry sauce, there was plenty {as usual} the fried rice dish was pached with chicken, beef, vegetable and fresh King prawns. Only down points are that they don't deliver, but for food this good I'm happy to collect and it's always ready when I get there and they don't accept credit card payments.Fantastic food and service, well done to all the staff.

Food was reasonable, at £19 order they chose to make it as cheap as possible. Resulting in a tiny meal which we get double of over the road anywhere else, could tell when I grabbed the bag off him that it was a meal short, I was wrong. Each portion was tiny. Same thing. £19 takeaway they dont treat you right. Honest.

Been looking for a good chinese takeaway for a long time and we have found one .The food is very good Staff are lovely.Give it a try people of Maghull and surrouning areas.You wont be disappointed

Open on New Years Eve (usually shut Tuesday) and we got chicken and prawn curry with rice. Great food, in fact probably the best Chinese takeaway we've had.

I think the majority of negative reviewers on here are confusing this takeaway with the one with the same name up Howorth Rd Heaton. I know this because the Bingley one doesn't deliver. (They don't need to, they are busy enough) I have been going here once a week for over 15 years & in that time they have rarely let us down. In fact the staff are so friendly (family run) they recognise my wife on the phone. We've even had a laugh in their with them when they were quiet, even taking selfies lol. They always have had a high hygiene rating from the council & you can see the kitchen from the counter & it's clean. Don't go Thursday's though as I don't want anyone else queuing in front of me.

Ordered the crispy chicken in OK sauce which wasnt crispy at all, more chewy! They get there orders out quick which probably means there food is nothing special!

Very reluctant to give 1 star. Very unhappy with the order i made and delivery. Order came late as it has every time i have ordered and to top it off didn't recieve 2 dishes i ordered or receipt and got charged fully 61.50. Not happy.

Lied repeatedly about when I would get my food, decided to cancel it when it was an hour late. Rude, didn't apologise and a bunch of liars.

Called in here whilst on the canal because the chippy was closed - on a Saturday evening!!!!! I have to say it was fantastic and I don’t actually eat much Chinese food. The wife does and said it was lovely. great food and large portions. If you’re on the canal and stopping before the locks give this place a try. Definitely recommend.

Used to be my regular. Still the same great friendly delivery man. My regular dish- duck fried rice WAS great but is now greasy claggy slop. My treat became an ordeal which I had to force down. If I'd had the ingredients I could have done better. Fried rice is easy to make.

Always enjoy my meals from Happy Garden. Delivery service is good. Favourite choice on the menu is king prawn satay and special fried rice - delicious!

This is your typical Chinese takeaway with the usual menu items. It is consistent with its food which is a good thing, is it the best - no, but it is not the worst eitherI usually have the Cantonese sweet and sour or chicken and mushrooms and my husband the chicken curry or chow mien The opening hours are not as advertised on the internet, they close at least a half an hour earlierOkay place, local to me so will keep using

Excellent local Chinese take away

This used to be my favourite take away but the last couple of times on a Friday evening in particular I've had quite variable experiences and will be thinking twice about using this take away in the future.Over the years I have learned never to telephone ahead to order on a Friday as the order is simply does not appear to be prioritised in any shape or form - indeed one lady was there when I arrived waiting for a telephone order and was still there when I had picked up my over the counter order!I ordered a simple chicken curry, rice and a side of spring rolls. To be fair it probably took about 15 minutes and the telephone people were waiting much longer. I took the carrier home and to my dismay there was an omelette and rice! I rang them up and the guy was quite apologetic and offered a replacement meal, so I agreed to eat my side, get my car back out of the garage and head out for my main. I asked of they wanted the incorrect food back and they said no so I binned it.To my dismay oil was running out of the spring rolls so clearly the cooking had not been hot enough but I ate then not wanting to create even more fuss. I then went to collect the main and when I got out of the take away I realised they'd not given me fresh rice so ended up having to get a microwave one from Tesco.The root cause of the problem seems to be a paper ordering system where the orders would not appear to be handled in rotation. Surely with the amount of trade, they could afford a Micros or something to streamline things.Sadly this is not the first time I have received incorrect food and oily starters so will probably give this one a miss for a few months.

Ordered and collected and were not disappointed we all enjoyed a great meal. The only thing which they could improve would be a local delivery service.

Orderd from here for the first time tonight,food look great and amazing delivery time almost half an hour early , however as i was enjoying my salt wnd pepper chicken meal i came across a long black hair cooked into the batter which surrounds the chicken , this needs to be sorted,However from what I initially ate was lovely

Ordered a couple of take always and both were excellent. Had to wait longer than expected when I went to collect, but it was early Saturday evening and it was incredibly busy. The food was excellent though and worth the wait!

A menudo nos llaman en este para llevar - es por lejos uno de los mejores de la zona. Tenía Sal y Pimienta Pollo con fideos que era excelente y mi pareja tenía carne Chow Mein con fideos, que también fue excelente. Continuaremos llamando aquí porque está muy buena.

Just collected 2 beef currys and they were disgusting. The curry sauce was orange and completly tasteless. The beef and chips had been re-heated. We have used this takeaway for years but after todays food will never use again. Staff are abrupt and would benefit from some customer service training

He estado utilizando esta comida para llevar china regularmente ahora por más de un año y es sin duda el mejor de la zona. Caballero muy amable en recepción pedidos. El tamaño de las porciones siempre grande y muy sabroso con galletas saladas de cortesía de gambas para pedidos superiores a 10 libras. Mis recomendaciones son las costillas en salsa y el 3 peking carne kung-po, que es en realidad 3 Carnes y gambas. Me gusta especialmente este como la carne venga natural y no cubierto en masa. La cocina es visible desde la parte frontal y parece impecablemente limpias. Recomendado

We have been going to this takeaway for a few months now and have tried several different things - all excellent. The meals are excellent, probably the best one I have had for a long while. Can't wait to go again.

No recuerdo cuánto tiempo he utilizado este fallo chino pero simplemente increíble y no puedo. No vayas a ningún otro sitio. Si no tienes chino desde aquí no tengo sencillo como. We called at this takeaway for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The place was spotlessly clean and really welcoming. I have not had such a nice Chinese meal in a long time - It was so full of flavour and was cooked to perfection.

Went here for a take away and the food was excellent. Only problem I had was the menu was nowhere to be found online so we drove to the takeaway to collect one. Once we had the menu we chose food we were familiar with as the menu in hand did not have any description on the food they sold. Would have loved to try something different. BUT as I say the food we had was lovely and will definitely go there again.

The Happy Garden takeaway is the best Chinese food in the Bingley area. Good menu, consistently good quality food, and quickly prepared.

We had tea from here the day before a big family wedding and were then unable to attend as my partner got food poisoning from the food.

I have been using this take away for over 6 months now, the food is excellent, by far the best Chinese take away in the area and the staff always very friendly and the service is quick. Top marks, keep up the good work.

Happy Garden in Crossflatts, Bingley has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.The staff is always friendly. They are incredibly fast at filling your order even if you walk in.Excellent food and service

Recently bought a meal from here, special curry. Very impressed,plenty of mixed meats and the sauce was really good. All ingredients seemed very fresh. Will definitely be buying from here in future.

i ordered sweet and sour chicken in batter and chips, with gravy instead of sweet and sour sauce. this was one of the nicest chinese takeaways i have had in a long time, chicken cooked well, crispy batter cooed well and lovely chips. the only downside was the gravy, while it did taste nice it was so weak, like water. if the gravy was much thicker this would have been perfect.

You will never regret going to the new happy garden chinese takeaway. There is a fantastic choice of chinese food and the menu is expensive and good value for money. I have been going here for around 8 years and never ever have i had a bad meal. Very highly recommended

Super Chinese food and the staff are always friendly. It is best if you ring ahead but they will always accommodate you even if you don't!

The reason we visit here so often is it is walking distance from home.We are never disappointed and have always had an excellent take away.
