Beef curry is beautiful, prawn crackers are fresh and the noodles and rice are tasty! The chicken balls are so delicious! Well worth the money (we spend over £30 every time for just 2 of us)

delivery driver needed directions to find the busiest road in Shipley. orders over £30 is supposed to come with a free portion of salt an pepper wings. They gave me 2 wings. the special fried rice was very bland. the bbq ribs was very good. overall it is average and much better places around.

We got special fried rice and special chop suey it got delivered within 15 minutes on a Saturday night, when it arrived the driver demanded £2.50 delivery fee we refused to pay we refused because it was included in the price The food was very greasy bland and tasteless it did not feel like fresh food it tasted like frozen veg. Within 30 minutes of eaten it i was throwing up and felt so i'll.

we have using this chinese for the past 5 years - i don’t know whether they have had a change of chefs or owners but our order tonight was awful. ordered salt and pepper ribs for nearly £8 they sent rib tips - not a piece bigger than an inch square and basically just bone and fat. the chow mein which we get often was slimy - no flavour, the rest of the order was barely passable - very disappointing but will not be using again - I know there’s a cost of living crisis but you cannot both increase your prices and drop your standards/product quality and expect to keep custom

Hygiene China has been my go to takeaway for many years now, their food has always been very vibrant and tasty together with more than generous size portions. friends and family always enjoyed their meals from here. However having said all that the last 2 meals received were very poor indeed! The first poor meal I put down to a one off bad night, but the meal we received last night was disgusting in the quality and service. Having been told there would be a delivery time of 50 to 60 minutes we were prepared to wait in anticipation of a good meal, 90 minutes later we were still waiting, we were told it would be with us shortly! 8 minutes later it was delivered. The food was almost cold, one of the sauces had not been delivered and the look of the dishes was appalling with a taste to match. So rang to complain which was a waste of time we were told was we had not been charged for the missing sauce despite the order being repeated twice, so we have no idea if we were charged or not but the real point was a dish was ruined due to a lack of sauce that fact seemed to go unnoticed. The freebie consisted of we believe was 3 very small bits of chicken sat on congealed onion that looked like they had been run over but we were not brave enough to try them so they ended up in the bin with most of the remainder of the meal! I can honestly say last nights meal was the worst Chinese takeaway I have ever had in my life! Suffice to say we will no longer be using Hygiene China no idea what has happened to their standards but clearly something has! PP

Ordered a good few takeaways from here over the last 3 years. Been a bit of hit & miss but the last few times have been lovely. Really enjoyed the food. Delivery has always been stop on. I would definitely recommend this place. Ribs and sauces the best.

Ordered the salt and pepper munchy box, they gave us 3 chicken wings 3 spring rolls 4 pieces of salt and pepper chicken and the chips and rice and sauce. This is £21.50 and doesn't even feed 2 people. They also state the rice and sauce is complementary but with the price and what you receive it definitely isn't. The menu also state free prawn crackers and veg spring rolls on orders over £20 which we didn't receive and was then told when we rung that this isn't part of the deal because its an offer itself! Even when we rung to dicuss been unhappy with the service they was no help to us and couldn't care less about what we said regarding the food or the service! Absolutely disgusting service and prices!

Ordered seafood combination, £9.20 , no prawns but 2 chicken drumsticks, since when did they come from the sea. Crab claws are just crab stick meat rolled into a ball. No sweet and sour sauce. Food was dry and disgusting.

the food turned up in 15mins and am certain it was yesterdays leftovers. will never use this takeaway again as wouldnt feed what they sent me to a dog.

Absolutely shocking. Every bit of food covered in grease unedable. Even the chips where rubbish. Every bit of food was cold. Chips were rubbish. Do not order from here. Straight in the bin

In my defence it is much closer than my favourite which is closed for refurb. There was something strange about the sweet and sour source. There was an ingredient which did not taste right in it. It was nice and hot, the chow mein and egg fried rice were good. Everything left something to be desired.

I would have given a minus rating but had no option. I have ordered from here ever since they opened, and tonight was a total wash out, food did come nice quick and hot, but the chicken was raw, the curry had literally no taste, the rice was gloopy, the spring rolls were empty, best thing was the prawn crackers and the chips, we will never ever be ordering from here again.

Ordered from here a few nights ago and it was terrible! we ordered Krispy beef in OK sauce fried rice & noodles. the beef was not krispy and was incredibly spicy for some reason & the rice was horrible. the noodles ordered were sent UNCOOKED in a plastic tub. who does that? when my mother tried to ring to complain/to get a refund somebody answered the phone and said " Hi this is hygiene china we're closed now bye!" will not be ordering from here again. 1/5

Ordered take away from here tonight ..absolutely vile will never get food from here again tasted like last nights leftovers warmed up ,beef curry like mush all congeeled last nights chips warmed up prawn toast yuk what a waste of money !!

Ordered food at 17:50 and it arrived at 18:00, way too quick to be cooked n delivered, will stick to getting Chinese food from sweet n sour at Bolton Junction in future!

You’ve only gone and done it!! Best Chinese in this part of Bradford I’ve nearly tried them all now. I saved this to the end because I was put off by the shop appearance, what a mistake I made every single thing was bang on. Prawn toast with the proper prawn paste like it should be, ribs where the meat falls off the bone. Proper fried rice, the beef in the beef n black bean was tender, and they have the proper Chinese gravy which I ain’t seen for years. Definitely my new Chinese.

Take your money twice and claim not to, refuse to deliver after agreeing twice. Then claim not have have your order. Then your order is not enough at £30 considering you are waiting on £60 back from them. Then refuse to talk to you and tell you ota just eats problem. I'm surprised anyone would rate them more than 1 star

Superb delivery. Special combination for Mum, quarter aromatic duck for visiting sister from Surrey and special curry with 2 large pancake rolls for me. Oh and for good measure Mum got a tack-on meal of water chestnuts with bamboo shoots. With 6 free spring rolls and free prawn crackers we will be eating ALL of the leftovers tomorrow, and they will be substantial meals for each of us. Sister said the quality, quantity and sheer value for money were exceptional. I had to agree. Delivery took 1/2 hr at most. We have found our Chinese Takeaway of choice and will stick with them. In fact we are dispensing with cooking our own Christmas meals and instead will be ordering sufficient meals to see us through 3 or 4 Christmas days. Highly rate Hygiene China. Had a delivery a couple of weeks ago and it was perfection.It arrived within about 20 mins of ordering by phone. Couldn't work out why we had been given free salt and pepper chicken but Mum worked out from the menu that if you spend over £30 then this meal is free. It was delicious, as was everything else. Still very happy with Hygiene China. 8th August 2020 Another meal for 2 and the quality/ value for money is still excellent. This is firmly now the ONLY takeaway/ delivery place that we order from as we have never doubted how wonderful the meals are (particularly for me the pancake rolls and Special Curry). In times of pandemic they have proved that they are still at the top of their game. Absolutely well done. 23rd August 2020 - massive delivery for Mums 88th birthday. We tried new dishes and old favourites. The delivery was superfast,excellent value for money and lasted me for 3 days-worth of meals. The Special Rice with Oyster Sauce was a new dish to us; an enormous meal, very tasty and superb VFM. Don't bother with Indian takeaways anymore as the last one delivered was cold on arrival, whereas all meals from Hygiene China are always piping hot and straight from the kitchen. 24th Dec 2020 - ordered sufficient to see us through Xmas period, lasted 4 days , re-heated of course. What can I say, it made our Xmas much easier, not having to cook for those 4 days. Perfection as usual. Mum will now in future be ordering her own pancake rolls instead of eating mine. Every dish was superb , very tasty and arrived steaming hot, straight from the kitchen.Will be ordering much more from Hygiene China throughout 2021 and beyond.

Just had the worst takeaway ever, chips where burnt to a crisp literary, the pork satay had hardly any sauce and the meat itself was dry and tasteless. Won't be using them again.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken 2weeks ago and it was nice so I decided to have it again lastnight. Delivery was early which was good but the salt and pepper chicken was horrible I couldnt eat it. It was swimming in oil and it had so much Garlic in it that it looked like a full jar of Quick Garlic had been poured all over it.

I order regularly with this takeaway but today they let me down by not including items in the seafood starter. Reported missing items to the restaurant where the gentleman who answered said it was only small amounts. No seaweed or sweet & sour sauce to use to dip the starter into. He wasn’t bothered and obviously doesn’t value his regular customers. I’m so annoyed that I paid for delivery and a starter to have things missing!!! AVOID!!! FOOD IS NOT AS DESCRIBED AND THEY DON’T CARE!! I asked them to refund just the missing items but they said NO!!!

2nd time we've ordered and again stuff was missing from order. Guy on phone said..well I can get some stuff delieved later this evening...literally no good to us. The food we got was nice which is the reason for 3 star. We wont however, order from here again.

Wouldn't even give it one star thought I'd try a new chinese rang to order for delivery and was refused as their driver couldn't find a neighbour who'd previously ordered few days before even tho I live on a main road so cant understand how a drive cant find an address dont be a delivery driver if you cant find addresses will not be trying again

Ordered on just eat. Waited two hours. Called restaurant twice. First time they said food on it's way, second time they said order was rejected. Just eat app say restaurant marked the order as confirmed and delivered. Total scam, food taken, time wasted, no food. Avoid in future.

Good food but the Attitude of the delivery driver this evening was disgusting. We ordered food whilst on our way home we arrived 10 mins before the food delivery time. The driver knocked on the door a few minutes after we arrived and was very rude and was agressive to my partner... Not impressed and will never order from you again.. A response from you would be appreciated.

Absolutely disgusting. We paid £27 for a takeaway through Just Eat (2 mains, sides for each one and a drink each) and it was tasteless, and all I can say is absolutely disgusting. Wouldn’t recommend!

Hygiene China has a typical Chinese takeaway menu but is the best in the area for quality and service. Unusually for takeaways, bean curd/tofu dishes are served.

I order from here all the time the food is beautiful but don't like how I got stop to on the phone then to be laughed at when I asked to speak to manager then when another family member order she's start to be rude on the phone with her comments

Ordered food at 650 still not here for 8.00 so rang they said running late will be 10 minutes 8.30 still not here!!!! So rang them back no one answered then! 😡food eventually came at 8.45! And cold ! That's top it off for me will never go again! Fuming ! Shocking service and no apology!

I've been going here for years now and it is always reliable and nice food.I have noticed recently you don't get as much meat or prawns in the special fried rice. But I think there has been a change of staff so changes are expected.

Always delicious. I love their Kung po beef. Veggies and nuts make for taste and texture.

I ordered for the first time last week, I got a Beef curry with fried rice. I was very disappointed the meat was all fatty, won't be ordering again unfortunately.

Never had a bad experience with hygiene China. The food is always great and delivery is usually below an hour.

Having lived in the area for many years, we've tried pretty much all the local Chinese takeaways. Hygiene China, is consistently good on its food quality, portion size and speed of delivery. Very hard to beat if you're in the mood for a Chinese takeaway.

We've tried all Chinese takeaways in the Eccleshill area and we think that this one provides the tastiest dishes at reasonable prices irrespective of what you order but I do recommend the Singapore noodles .. All cooked well and good sized portions. Yum yum

We have used this takeaway many times and ate always very impressed. A quick service and lovely food.

We had crispy duck & pancakes, chicken skewers, veg curry and won ton soup. All tasty and about what you'd want from Chinese. Probably the western version of Chinese food but lovely.

Food always great, delivery always fast. Crispy Chicken/Beef in sweet spicy sauce, Beef Curry, Large Pancake Rolls, Salt & Pepper Squid, Prawn Toast, Salt & Pepper Chips are some of our favourites. Give them a try...!!

Very Good Local Restaurant/Takeaway!!!

Normally nice but we ordered a range of different dishes on 9/3/13 and all the dishes and sides containing noodles had been cooked in black bean sauce instead of the normal oyster or chow mein sauces. Very disappointing.
